HELP ME!
5S Dude 09-05-2009, 06:14 PM There are plenty of us here to lend a helping hand! Thank you for the Door-Sill order by the way.
A new custom engraved Cubby-Cover would help short-term accessory dependence.
It never really ends and there are no known permanent cure……… :D
wrenrj1 09-05-2009, 08:53 PM You got the money, more power to ya. If you end up wanting a bail out from our government, I will hunt you down, and take what fits on my truck...
noy65 09-06-2009, 08:45 AM sorrrry bud. but there's no cure for that... its happening to me too. ha! ha! ha!
MMsRTL 09-06-2009, 09:10 AM yup, it happens.
just be glad you have a ridgeline and not some other vehicle.
I share the disease, but the ridegeline market is pretty limited.
I doubt this truck will suck much more than $10k in mods from me.
my other cars, on the other hand, could wipe me out at any given time.
I could probably spend $50k in mods on each car if I had it, lol.
CrowMagnumMan 09-06-2009, 09:41 AM Yeah, it's like a disease at the current time! AAHHHH!!
Ron - what is the cubby cover????? May be another add on! LOL!!
I am glad to hear it's not just me! LOL!!
tacky1 09-06-2009, 11:11 AM Lol.. Yup, it happens, Next thing is a nice set of whells, lift kit, filter, exhaust, etc etc etc.. :)
Andy-Montreal 09-06-2009, 12:06 PM You seem to be suffering from OCAP (obsessive compulsive accessory paranoia). Please schedule a meeting at the next AA (Accessory-Anonymous) get-together. Get help fast!:D
Toobuku 09-06-2009, 12:11 PM 'The Raider' is 4 years old and I am still enhancing it! Just buy within your means. :D

HELP ME!
Well,, I guess the next step is starting a 12 step program to help you stop all this madness!!!, I have not done much to mine thus far,, but as I am typing this I am waiting for a phone call from another Ridge owner who lives near me. His Ridge is comming off lease and he is selling me his Truxedo tonneau cover for 200.oo bucks, this is the first thing I have bought for it this year!!!
OwnerCS 09-06-2009, 04:55 PM For Phase II you also need:
1) Fumoto Oil Drain Valve or Pela 6000 Oil Extractor Pump
2) Speaker Upgrades
3) Dynamat (or equivalent) Sound Insulation
RidgLary 09-06-2009, 07:01 PM I'm looking for a cure for a design issue:
Sun/sky reflections prevent me from reading anything from the center part of the dash (speedo, etc.). This starts around 10 AM and persists until around 2-3 PM (depending on direction of travel). This in in AZ, NM and West TX, where the sun is VERY bright.
I'm considering a piece of thin cardboard, cut to fit, and painted flat black. But I'd love to hear a better idea (that's not part of a $150 "reflection suppression" package.

Is this a sunroof/moon roof issue? Perhaps a seat adjustment might help.

When was the last time your trust fund manager was audited? Perhaps you should move quickly before more responsible heads prevail.

I was disappointed in Honda for this, considering Honda's incredible cleverness in such things. But then, I lived awhile near Tokyo, and it's never as bright there as the American West.
2006 RTS
No moonroof.
Seat adjustment has varied.
I'm sure someone else has encountered this--I'll wait.
rickjr007 09-07-2009, 09:27 AM I would say there is bno help. Its addictive and fun. Im in the same boat and once you get a hold of a 5sdude original it keeps going. Enjoy it while you can.
wrenrj1 09-07-2009, 07:34 PM Just take a minute and think...Will my ride look like a pimp mobile? What may look good to you may not look good to those who look at your ride. What look are you going for?
Take the Frank Lloyd Wright mantra of form follows function...Less may be more. Don't make your ride look like a Phillipino bus (or is it a Jamacian taxi?).
While I said more power to ya in an earlier post, just think before your mod, be tasteful.
Cold.2 09-07-2009, 07:39 PM AMEN,
I'll SECOND that motion, Wrenrj1
07_rtx 09-07-2009, 07:40 PM I have had mine a few months dumped a lot of money and still have more to spend it is addictive but my bank account has dried up. Just look at my signature for details and here is a pic. I would call it expensively tasteful
Cold.2 09-07-2009, 07:52 PM Wish I had the coin to do your lift and wheels.
F:rolleyes:or now I'll keep smashin' my skull on the roof when I duck in to get things, still gettin' used to it being lower than my old 4x4 GMC
07_rtx 09-07-2009, 07:59 PM I love it being lifted and love the tires but could have probably spent the 1200+ on better stuff like bills haha oh well too late now
DrZew 09-09-2009, 05:56 PM Best investment>>>Figgs hood lift fumoto oil drain!!!!!!

Did you try closing the sun shade for the sunroof? Just asking...:D One more idea...check the brightness control for the dash. It will dim the dash even when the headlights are off. When running with headlights in daylight, I turn my dashlights up to make it easier to see. Eliminates the auto dimming when headlights are on.
DirtyPaw 09-20-2009, 05:16 PM And they say we are having a recession...
O.K. got my Ridgeline last week.
Here's MY LIST so far:

Side steps
Nighthawk bulbs
Sorry fella, that's the way it goes.
woodco 10-24-2009, 11:43 AM Keep your hands in your pockets, keep your eyes shut, quit your job, disconnect your computer, and last but far from acceptable....Sell the Ridgeline....JUST KIDDING!!!!
