Official Knoxville Meet!

Ok guys i got this meet all figured out here i think and here is the details:

Official Knoxville, Tn Meet!

When?- October 3rd

Where?- Turkey Creek, 10900 Parkside Drive Knoxville, TN 37934

What Time?- Meet begins at 12:00 noon ends whenever we get tired of each other :p::D

Activities?- Look at trucks and meet owners, Eat lunch, Take pictures, and a possible drive depending on other interest.

Everyone is welcome to attend of course.

I hope your meet goes well, sorry I can't make this one. I posted on another thread about meeting up some time. Some time later after you've graced Knoxville and your nearer NC, let me know. With a 9 month old, I need to plan ahead for any trips I take, especially if I bring him with me. Take care and enjoy the meet.

Morganton, from what I was gathering from 25 yr Honda owner it sounds like the Dragon would be as far for me to drive as going to Knoxville.

If anyone is interested in getting a Dragon run together, give me a yell. I ride up there all the time on 2 wheels and love doing it in the RL as well. I know it was done earlier in the year, maybe a meet next Spring at the Dragon will be in order?!?!

A spring meet and dragon run is definitely a possibility. As far as this meet goes I figured we would just hang out eat and get to know our fellow ROC members. Especially since I don't get paid till the 10th so gas money is a little sparse for this meet. But we can definitely plan a spring meet so others will be more intrigued to join us

Check out Ridgetrotters truck and duplicate his mods, that will cure the "bone stock" look!! I did not even like green until I saw his truck.

I don't even have one of my own so I can't help you there buddy. Maybe someone else does.

You should have let me know that last week so I could have gotten the dishes done and been there already haha. Have a good weekend at cruisin the coast! I truly do wish I could make it but I'm on edge of losing and changing jobs so its a trying time right now. Hopefully next year will be better and I will see you down there. Drive safe Cruisin the Coast attendees and Knoxville attendees have a great weekend all. I'm headed out the door in a few towards Knoxville!

I made it. I was only a few minutes late at most.

I had a great time! the people I met were great and all the trucks
looked so nice and different in their own way. no two were alike.
we saw lots of other Ridgelines that drove by and honked and waved,
they seemed to be all over the place today.

stupid me, I forgot my memory card for my little camera, so I only got
like 5-6 pictures, but there were others with cameras there, so they can
back me up on the picture thing.

it really was nice to meet everyone, great group of people. I'd certainly
like to meet up again sometime, we were talking spring maybe, that would
be great. I am posting first because I was in a hurry and had to go. my
wife needed to make it to work and I had to come home to let my doggies
out. so anyway, here are the few pics I took:

Awesome meet guys! It was great to meet you all.

Thanks to everyone that came out, we had a great time and the weather could not have been better. Lunch at Brixx was delicious and we had some beautiful RL's show up. We even had a few drive-by RL's stop in and talk with us. I'm going to post a couple of pics and I'm sure the other members will post far more. Already looking forward to the Spring meet.

Hey guys thanks for making this meet a great one. I too can't wait till we meet up again! You are all an awesome group of owners and it was truly a pleasure to meet each and every one of you. I couldn't have put this meet together without you guys. We had an awesome turn out. Thanks to Ryan and his wife, Jeff and his wife, Johnathan and his friend, Tiffany and her friend, RidgeTrotter, and Arnold. You guys and gals rock! Looking forward to getting back together and hope to see more pics up too. I know arnold has a ton of great pics. I didn't even bother taking pics since there were 3 amateur and 1 professional photographer and I would fall to the beginner level so I didn't waste my time haha. Thanks all and planning will begin for a spring meet without a doubt!

Hey Joe! I'd absolutely love to come down there next weekend, but I've got family visiting and am just not going to be able. :(

(And do you think that Tony or Lex Luther would let me clamp a camera on their trucks like Mike and Tracy did? Ha-ha-ha. I'm thinkin' 'not'. Just joking. I really wish I could come.)

I did miss a turn and was a few minutes late, but I made it. I thought of all of our summer Smokies group today and am really, really, REALLY hoping we can get everybody together, maybe next year spring or summer. We've got a great bunch of quality people in the ROC. Some of us were talking today that it is nice to see the photos online of what our members have done with their trucks, but it is really cool to see the trucks and their owners in person.

I hope we can get another "mid-South combined" meet together next spring or early summer. It's always fun to get together with ROC stars & it's always great to see other guys (and gals) trucks in person.

I betcha Tony would gladly let you clamp a camera on his roof rack! But it would be better to clamp the camera onto a truck running in front of him!

A great variety of mods at this meet: LED running lights, lift kit, bumper trim, door trim, three different tonneaus, different wheels and tires. Totally excellent opportunity to see different approaches.

We better get our act in gear!;) Remember last year when all the state parks in Alabama where booked already!!::( I think the Lake Guntersville thing would be great with a convoy to Honda, that is if they will give us a tour.:cool: Joe (Cismo) says he would help with a tour. LA would also be good with a visit to the Naval Air Museum and a few cold ones at Florabama!!

Great photos, as I expected, oarnold! Duncan, yeah, we need to get our tails in gear. Right now, I have about 20-eleven things to get set up before next Saturday ... the DOOR PRIZES, some GPSing, some work at the Money Pit, a patio to pressure wash, a haircut, a little mapping & scouting (including some oogling of street rods), and of course all other duties as may be assigned by SWMBO...

First, I must say thanks to 07-RTX (Dusty) for putting this meet & greet
together. Secondly, thanks to everyone who took the time and made the
effort to attend. Thirdly and lastly, it was a real pleasure for this gimpy
senior citizen to meet and visit with each and everyone of you who attended. I got some ideas from you fine members of a few more mods
to add to my Ridge. Thanks again, I had a great time and look forward
