I have always wanted to do the night time Biltmore tour during Christmas; starts November 6th and is a bit pricy. Weekday prices $69 and weekend $79.
A 2 night weekend package at participating hotels would run close to $400. Don't even ask what it would cost to stay on the estate!

I've wanted to go at Christmas too. I've been in the summer before and it was very pretty. I'm sure that the Christmas season is extremely expensive. I stayed at a Hampton Inn when I went that was a few miles from the Biltmore because I couldnt believe how expensive it was to stay at the Inn. If you go up there, take lots of pics! :)

Not sure they will allow cameras inside during the candlelight tour. Camera flashes would ruin the whole thing. I have been their before during the day; it should be on everyone's "must visit" list. Too bad Pisgah Inn closes for the season 5 days before Biltmore opens for the night time Christmas tour. Now that would make a great meet; ride the BRPky, 2 nights at the inn, and Biltmore at Christmas.

I've been at christmas time. A tad disappointing, they only had like 12 trees per room. I expected more ;):D

photos are not allowed inside :(

Yeah, but some of the rooms are measured in acres!!;) Ever wonder how they put logs into those two huge dining room fireplaces? Maybe they had fork lifts in those days?

Here are a few views from our room balcony at Pisgah Inn at 5,000 ft elevation. Sunrise is always spectacular!!:) About 45 minutes to the Biltmore on the BRPky. Problem is, the inn closes on November 1st every year. Not as great a drive ias the Dragon, but the added scenery is more than worth it!!:)
