It also works all model years with the exception of the ’09 with the rear backup camera option. If you do not have this option you’re good to go.

I guess they feel the three colors they offer will match or blend with any Ridgeline color. It also keeps production costs down.

This is moving along a bit slower than I would have guessed. You will not find a Pop & Lock at a better price. It's easy to install and blends into the look of the truck nicely.

I sent my contact at Pop & Lock an e-mail breaking out our sales by color in an attempt to get them to be sure their inventory can handle our order. This is her response:

Great – we have inventory in stock right now so get your order in as soon as possible before they are sold to other buyers especially on the white and silver as we do not keep a lot of inventory on the colors other than black.

I just asked her to put the Silver and White units on hold until I place the order. Hopefully, she will. :)

Edit: She is holding the Silver and White lock sets for one week.

OK, I'll keep it in mind, Brandon.

Here's a link to the Pop & Lock website (http://popandlock.net/). It should answer most of your questions. Basically, it is a manual tailgate locking system. It consists of a keyed lock set and some linkage that jams the Tailgate locking mechanism. It lock both tailgate handles. Perfect for use with a locking Tonneau cover that does not lock the tailgate.

We can really use you on board the Group Buy. :)

Just wanted to share my pic of my painted pop and lock.

A body shop did a favor to me and painted it for me to match my 06 RTL. I did mention that others may want their painted too and if there is enough interest I would be willing to lead a bulk buy/paint to get your Pop N' Locks painted to match your Ridgelines. Anyhow, here is a pic of mine.


Seeing sberube's body-color painted pop & lock that he had his body shop do, just put me over the fence.

Had an 03 Pilot. In 07 my neighbor needed a pickup. After looking all summer and driving everything made, I finally convienced him to test drive a Ridgeline.
He bought it! We concluded it to be one of the most versitle vehicles on the market.

In 08 my son needed a pickup, to replace his Mustang GT. He drove a Ridgeline and bought it.

This 09 replaced my Pilot. :D

I plan on submitting the order to Pop & Lock Monday or Tuesday. I'll ship the units in the same order as I received the checks. The Lock Sets will ship USPS and may take as many as 7-9 days for you guys on the West Coast or Canada to receive.

I just purchased my '07 RL- RTL yesterday. While talking to the guys who will be installing the ReTrax on Monday, they mentioned this forum for advice on personalizing my ride. While I haven't read that much, yet, this thread and the other for the mats and these locks is so important to me. As I posted on the other thread, if I'm understanding this correctly, there's no lock on the liftgate???? That's crazy! It doesn't lock with the cover on it, either? That really defeats the purpose of buying an expensive, locking tonneau cover if you can just open the door and get in!!!

Am I too late to get in on the discount? Also, how difficult is it to install this?
