Here's my other Honda and my RL with icicles on it... we do get snow in parts of AZ:

Nimbus1 01-02-2010, 05:14 AM Well, you may get icicles, but it's 4 degrees near the WI border this morning. Bet you're happy to be in AZ.
johnk1 01-02-2010, 08:35 AM Amen brother! Second day of trying to find indoor activities for the kids....:act002: Wanted to get the ridge washed today but maybe not
Nimbus1 01-02-2010, 08:38 AM Yea, I was thinking the same thing, but I'll bet Park Avenue isn't open this morning. It's up to 6 degrees now.
BruceRTL 01-02-2010, 10:59 AM We're grilling burgers here today. It's suppose to be 70 out. Sorry for bragging, living in the Phoenix area, this is the only time of year we talk smack! I sure don't miss living in Illinois.
ridgelinematt 01-02-2010, 11:19 AM Uugh!

I guess we shouldn't tell them it'll be in the low 70's for the next few days, before cooling down to the upper 60's by Friday! PS....I don't klnow about yours, but my grilled burgers tasted great, especially since we could eat them out on the patio while watching the sunset.
johnk1 01-03-2010, 07:08 AM Ok you guys... Now I'm not going to forget about this when July and August come around and you can't go out till maybe 9 pm. OR maybe you could just cook your burgers on the asphalt. :act024:
Good news is today it should get to about 15 degrees. Time for a wash before we get more snow Wed.:act006:
Enjoy your day. BTW I like my burger medium well. I assume you will have one ready for me when I visit some friends in Scottsdale this March
ridgelinematt 01-03-2010, 08:08 AM I wonder what homemade chili and soup tastes like in 70 degree temps?

Spent 5 hours yesterday chopping thru ice in Flagstaff, clearing my in-law's driveway  I love AZ weather for its diversity but I am glad I don't have to deal with the cold on a regular basis.
Just hope there's no more snow to clear for them this year (yea, right....wishful thinking):act018:

70 degrees is perfect chili weather in southern AZ! Remember, 70 degrees in Phoenix is like 30 degrees elsewhere! LOL (those guys in southern AZ can't take the cold...and anything below 65 is near freezing to them!) :)

We haven't had a decent snow here in Cincinnati yet this year. :(
I'm pretty sure that this has something to do with the fact that I bought new tires for the RL and my wife's car in the fall so that I would have plenty of tread for adverse conditions.
I'm pretty sure that I am by my actions creating some sort of inverse weather paradox by my automotive related activities
New tires = no snow
2 sets of new tires = extreme cold but still no snow
New windshield wipers = no rain
Wash truck = thunderstorm
Old 60k mile tires = blizzard
Wash truck + wax truck + cut grass + power wash house/driveway = hurricane
I wonder if I can generate a snowstorm like the one in the movie "the day after tomorrow" by putting my old worn out tires back on the truck right after a wash and wax?

It's not that bad. We just have to make the trip from our air conditioned house to our air conditioned car (with remote start) before we burst into flames. BTW....last August, 101 degrees at 1:00 in the morning.
ridgelinematt 01-03-2010, 11:53 AM About 18 degrees in norheast ohio and a lot of lake affect snow. Brrrrr. Going to work this morning on unplowed roads was fun though.
