Well it finally happened, my wife won't take my truck because today we added another Honda to our family. I tried to talk her into a another Ridgeline ( Imagine 2 in the driveway HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM ) but no it's a 2006 Pilot EX-L 2wheel drive with Navi. Oh well at least she'll know where she's going.!!!! It's amazing from never owing a Honda to now 2... I guess I better get a new lawn mower to make the complete change:D

Congratulations on the new Honda :)
(Question is now, will you be wanting to drive her Pilot?)

Unless she is anything like my wife and needs 450 lbs of stepping stones for the yard and uses it to get them at The Home depot and some 18 year kid throws them in the back of your RL like it was 1979 Ford F150.

Bonerep,
Congrats on the new Pilot.
Sounds like I'm going to be like you when it's all done. I started out looking for a new vehicle for my wife to replace her 10 year old Bonneville. She was interested in a SUV so she could sit up higher and have 4 wheel drive. We started before 2006 models came out and we had to ignore the 2005 Pilot since it had no side curtain airbags. Then the 2006's came out and they had the air bags so it went back on the list.
I had a test drive scheduled and told my business partner what I was doing and he told me he was looking at Pilots for me and him as business cars. I was floored but thrilled. I thought about it for a while and decided I didn't want 2 Pilots around the house. It's kind of nice having different vehicles to alternate between on the weekends.
I was driving one day and remembered that Honda had the new Ridgeline. I scheduled a test drive on one and really liked it. I told my partner I'd like to get the Ridgleine as my company car since it was similarly priced to the Pilot. He had no problem with that. :)
We don't have either one yet but will end up with a 2006 Pilot EXL 4WD with Navi in silver for my wife and a 2006 Ridgeline RTL with Moonroof, Navi, and tow hitch in black for me. We'll get a portable DVD entertainment system that we can put in either vehicle for the kids on trips. Mine is a 42 month lease by our company and hers we are buying since we will have it a long time. We should be getting both this week. :)

I love what Honda's done to the Pilot for '06 (new front and rear treatments- very Ridgeline-like), XM availability (finally) and the "family" backlit dash (the best in the industry as far as I'm concerned). Now if I could only talk my wife into trading her '04 Accord for a Pilot- not a chance of that happening! Good luck with the new Pilot.

Go for it! Besides whats listed below, I have a Honda mower (12 yrs old and never had anything done to it but general maintenence), a Honda Generator and a Honda trimmer. Had the motorcycle in my younger & single days.
If its got an engine and I need it, Honda tops my list everytime!

Congrats on the new Honda. The fact that the Ridgeline was a Honda was a bonus but not a deciding factor. There were so many deciding factors that nothing else was really in the same league. It was Ridgeline then a bunch of other things well below it on our list.

Yea! Congrats on the new addition. I tried to talk the wife into a Pilot but she just had to have the Highlander! She is very happy with it though.
