I just looked into our members list and found thru a sort feature that out of 1711 current members on Nov 15, 2005, we have 91 senior members with 100 or more posts.... Hez, Ridgeman, RidgeNH and Dktahg are in our lastest to make the "100" club.
The intent of this post is to see if we can hear from all our members as everyone is welcome!
I found that 590 of us ROC'ers have "0" posts. How cool would that be if we could hear all the important information that all of us could learn from :)
Even if its just to say hello.... Looking forward to hearing from you:D

I hope all our behind the scenes members find time to join the discussions. We want to hear from you!

The member list has been gone a couple of days. I requested that the New Posts function get scooted over to the left of the tool bar so that it's close to the View First Unread function and asked about the missing Member List. I guess T-Mac didn't read that post on the thread about functions on the updated site.

Hey Ridgeter can you determine if any of those even log on, every once in a while? Maybe you could have an active membership and an inactive one. How many hits does the site get in a day?

Not quite sure on that question... I was just snooping around the site one day and ran across the members button. Thought the stats were kinda cool so I posted them... thier is an info bar on ROC main page at the bottom that shows members on line... newest members, members birthdays.... happy birthday DD'sRidge! Also shows other info

When you talk to T-Mac, see if there's any way to add a couple of more columns of information to the Members List. It would be very handy to have it list location so we could scan through it and spot members who are near by. I'd also like to see color added, being the BLUE freak that I am.

I know almost nothing about constructing web pages or running a forum, so I haven't a clue how reasonable or unreasonable these requests are. It's simply something I would use if it were available.

T-Mac, this forum is awesome and it's just gotten better with all the tinkering you've done to it.

My guess is that it comes when you are north of 10 posts/day... :D !

I have wondered in the past if there is a way to see this stat, short of going into each individual public profile? LR is obviously the long term champion-ess for posts, but is anyone else even close to her posting frequency for a shorter period?

All right, now I have gone off the edge....

As for hacking up the members list... let me take a look at that. I'll see what I can. Just give me a little bit of time as I have several things going on right now, including some OT at work and I'll be starting a night class soon. Uggh. :)

Wow, 216 pages of members and I would say 75% have not ever posted even once. Also Lady Ridge is just keeping ahead of the member count, 6900 posts for her and we are at 6757 members. Still it seems like less than 10% of us are really active on the site. I saw quite a few members that I have not seen a post from in a very long time that were quite active for a while. I am on my computer at least twice a day and usually more. I sit down and watch the tube and will be on the net at the same time. I'm a multi-media person.

The info, opinions, pics, caring words, and links that the ROC members share on this site is awesome. I've never experienced such fun interactive journalism before. Again I'm really stoked to be a member.
