Wow .. thanks for the welcomes and it is good to be back. I work for a major communications co in the southeast US. I was part of our companies phase 1 hurricane restoration group. Our first goal was to bring all emergency communications back to all E911, Government, Police, EOC, hospitals, etc etc VIA landline or cell sites. Then we focused on everything and everywhere we could restore communication as fast as possible. I was in Florida, Mississippi, Lousiana, and part of Alabama. For the first couple of weeks we lived and worked out of tent cities and then to hotels after that. Its not glorious work at all and in fact is pretty brutal in most areas. Cant tell you how many nails Ive stepped on in the last couple months. Louisiana was the worst and smelliest place we restored. The smell of mold, death, gas, fish, and anything else that was in that water was enough to make you sick. My wife still thinks im crazy for volunteering to go ( paid of course ) but I would do it again given the chance as we were able to provide vital communications to a lot of unfortunate people. Again, it is good to be back. Teck :D

I will join the chorus and say welcome back bellteck! If my part of the world ever gets slammed the way the Gulf Coast did I can only hope and pray that someone like you will have what it takes to step up and anonymously put the pieces back together. Thanks!

Teck,
Thanks for the update and all your great work there. We were hit here by Hurricane Isabel, though on a much smaller scale. I was amazed at the power and comm crews that came in from states all up and down the east coast to get us online again. Their dedication was much appreciated around here.

Ladyridge - What is the great music on the "Vinyl Division" page? Really haunting. I just let it play and play. Very soothing. If I ever get an inspiration I'd love to do some graphics on my white RTL. All my taste is all in my mouth so artistic stuff is a challenge. I hope to make up my mind soon.

You don't need a lot of artistic taste or inspiration with ladyridge. Just give her a little hint of what you want and she will dazzle you.

Hey Sprite...that music is Tribal Winds. If you right click on each of the control panels at the bottom of the web pages and then click properties, it will tell you the name of song. Glad you like it. Todd and I both have a Native American background. Todd is part Native American and I had a Dad who wished he was. :)
