Webwader 11-16-2005, 10:47 PM The following all evolved because I had thought about installing body side moldings. I wasn’t going to pay Honda’s price and I couldn’t find any that I liked. So I was thinking one day, “I can’t recall ever having an actual ding put in my door (just luck I guess), just some occasional scratches or paint chipping.” I then hit on the idea of asking ladyridge about the possibility of doing some simple graphics that would cover the paint in the usual vulnerable places. That way, at least the paint would be somewhat protected and if a graphic were damaged, it could be replaced relatively inexpensively. I bounced the idea off ladyridge and she liked it. She then asked silly questions like “What do you want it to look like?” and “What color do you want?” Being a guy that flunked kindergarten finger painting three years running, these questions were equivalent to asking me to explain the theory of relativity. I then enlisted the help of the DW and she said “Why don’t we do some colors that complement the trailer?” Brilliant idea! I took a picture (shown below) of the trailer graphic and sent it to ladyridge and told her I had no idea what I wanted it to look like, but could we do something to complement these colors. A few more emails back and forth and here is the result. We also added the windshield banner from CDC Graphics, and knowing that both my DW and I volunteer at the zoo, ladyridge and Todd sent us the tigers that are on the windshield as a gift.
The product is outstanding, the price was quite reasonable, the service was extraordinary. I was somewhat nervous about the installation as I had never done a graphic of this size and complexity, so I had a few questions. Not only did I receive a comprehensive set of instructions with the graphics, but Todd sent me even more detailed list of instructions, helpful hints, and things to avoid. It made the job a lot easier and hopefully I did justice to ladyridge’s wonderful creative talents.
Truckin' 11-16-2005, 10:54 PM Totally awesome, fabulous, I love it! That looks so sharp and really personalizes your Ridgeline, as well as tying it into your towing outings. Great work and great photos!
5S Dude 11-16-2005, 11:24 PM Awesome idea! JC, you have found your calling! These graphics look great plus they match his trailer to boot. Very well done to both of you. :p

BannedUser 11-17-2005, 11:24 AM I may be a bit partial but I love how that looks on there. It was somewhat of a challenge to reproduce the design from a photograph but I love a challenge. Thanks for the opportunity Web. I can't wait to see the trailer behind the Ridgeline and how they look together. I am looking forward to seeing them in person next summer.
Thanks my friend.
:p

Lady's Buck 11-17-2005, 01:17 PM Web, thanks for the pics. Looks like you did a great job on the installation of the decals. I hope my "addenda" instructions didn't arrive too late to be of help. BTW, do you mind if we put one of the pics on our web site?

You really didn't expect anything less than first class from our Number 1, First Class, Queen of the ROC, LadyRidge (and company), did you? It appears that your expectations have been exceeded.:)
