07_rtx 08-30-2010, 05:52 AM Sounds like you should have bought an avalanche instead of a ridgeline. The only thing I wish my truck had was a new home and owner.

You do not sound too happy with the RL.
Explain please.

The ridgeline has been a fine truck, but its time to move on to bigger and better things. I'm plenty happy with the truck, but frustrated that its been up for sale for 4 months and not even gotten a single phone call on it. I hate to, but it may become a trade in and dealer problem than mine.
larryr 08-31-2010, 06:45 AM I know for a fact that Dusty loved his truck. He is very proud of the mods he made to his vehicle. (I still owe him a beer - he was too young for one at the last meet in Memphis I attended with him, OwnerCS and others.) He is young and like I was when I was his age, he probably needs to put his loving in a lot of different vehicles. I went through 30 vehicles by the time I was 30 [Sorta like K747 does except he has kept the Maxima longer than many other vehicles he has owned ;) ] The longest I kept any car was 24 months - it was a 1974 Fold LTD with every option - 3 window stickers worth - the gas crisis hit and no one wanted a car with a 460 CID engine. The funny part is it got better highway mileage than the Dodge Dart that replaced it and the same city mileage. The Dart was replaced by a Volkswagon Rabbit (it died 22 times before 4000 miles and lemon lawed) that was traded for a Dodge Aspen and that was traded in for a Honda Accord (I liked it and traded it for $3000 more than I paid for it on a Mercedes 300D). Then I got married and discovered a wife and spend more money than you can ever make and had to keep my cars for 5 years just to make the payments. I should have traded the wife instead of the Mercedes for the 1981 Pontiac Bonneville Diesel.

If you haven't gotten a call its because a) you aren't advertising in the right places, b) you haven't de-modded the truck, or c) you are asking way too much. I suspect a combination of all of the above.
This is a fairly high-demand vehicle in the used market...you should be getting calls, so something is scaring people off (or their not seeing your ads).
Wish List:
USB interface for IPOD
6-Speed tranny w/manual shift option
Factory Integrated brake controller
FrankC 09-01-2010, 06:01 PM Mc2Guy, I like your list. I hope Honda picks up on some of the ideas on this site. After all, they have had 5 model years to come up with some new stuff to keep the Ridgeline lovers coming back.
canuck901 09-05-2010, 01:40 PM X2, if you haven't sold your Ridgeline
1) you are asking too much for it
2) you are advertising in the wrong places
they are very good sellers, and the top rated midsize truck and a top pick by consumers report.

Problem is, when most folks are looking for a used pickup they are not thinking Honda. An image the RL has still not been able to overcome completely, unfortunately for them.
07_rtx 09-05-2010, 03:46 PM The thread isn't about my truck selling or not. Its about a guys wish list he wished was different about his truck. I contributed by saying the only wish I want is for my truck to sell. That's it. If it sells it sells, if it don't it don't. Doesn't really matter to me either way since I'm about to strip it down and trade it in.
