Hi -
the sister-in-law of a friend of mine is writing a book about homework and she is trying to collect as much diversity of data as possible.
Please help her out!

thanks!!!

(disclaimer: I will make no money off this book - I have already filled out both the teacher and parent sections - one section takes about 5-7 minutes)
I just completed it, Ridgeln. This is an important topic I don't believe is being adequately addressed by our schools. Maybe this book will help move things in the right direction. Please wish the authors luck from me.

I'm a teacher of 35 years so I was glad to do it. Thanks for the opportunity.

Just filled it out. Got to the bottom and saw that Canadian provinces weren't on the menu! Had to go under "other" Oh well... hope that it doesn't skew the results!

Being that you a) read and b) probably buy books and c) have kids in school and an opinion about homework, my bet is that the authors will LIKE having your input!
Thanks for filling this out.

Homework should never be counted for marks. Most of the homework given out is a waste of time -- busy work. Students just need to learn how to study outside school time. My two bits.

I can easily argue both sides. Please take the time to complete the survey I posted the link to at the original post. Thanks!

Thanks! Hopefully, this will help teachers & parents understand both sides of the homework issue.
