: Official Sightings Thread
AHart 03-24-2005, 11:01 PM I saw an RL on the road today for the first time. Pictures don't do this vehicle justice, you need to see it in action. For those of us who don't yet have theirs, just seeing one on the road is exciting! Anybody else seeing them out there other than what you are driving??
I haven't seen one yet in Melbourne, FL. Supposedly 6 have been sold at the dealership that I am using. But, that dealer is a little north of my stomping grounds.
Alvega007 03-24-2005, 11:41 PM I am in Lancaster, PA and the only Ridgeline I have seen on the road is mine. This thing has turn more heads than when I drive my restored VW bug.
vertrkr 03-24-2005, 11:51 PM I had a cop pull me over in a parking lot, I sure was hoping he just wanted to talk about the truck. Sure enough he wanted to know all about it. He didn't use lights or sirens, just honked and pointed for me to stop. I certainly didn't mind, love showing it off.
JulesK 03-25-2005, 02:10 AM I went to the Honda dealership last Saturday to check on the status of my delivery, and from there to lowes hardware. Found myself parked across from a blue RTL. The owner came up behind me and caught me gawking. He still had temp tags, funny , he could not stop smiling, I REALLY CAN'T WAIT FOR MINE TO GET HERE.
MTDRIVER 03-25-2005, 07:09 AM I recently put 1100 miles on mine during a trip to Arizona. I never saw another and turned a lot of heads on the way. I parked in an almost empty, large parking lot and when I returned an Avalanche was parked immediately adjacent to my Ridgeline although there were hundreds of empty parking spots in more conveniently located parts of the lot. It was cool to see them side by side.
jauten1 03-25-2005, 07:56 AM I live in north eastern Maryland and I saw my first Ridgeline in the wild two days ago :) I drive the long way to work every day just so I can pass the local Honda dealership on the way. I have to say that they have been moving a lot of Ridgelines out of that place. I was kinda surprised because where I live most of the people are "Good Ol' Boys" that drive nothing but Chevy, Ford, and Dodge; I guess there is a new player in town ;)
J.Bauer 03-25-2005, 09:08 AM Talk about 'good ol' boys' - try southeast TX. The local dealership has apparently turned a few over - but I haven't seen any on the road down here. I'm still curious to see the reaction from the local home depot crowd - because there are already a lot of Tacos, Frontiers, Tundras and [lately] Titans on the road - so while Texan's are often considered exclusively pickup truck drivers, they are pretty open to Japanese makes.
hagerswami 03-25-2005, 09:13 AM Since I got mine over two weeks ago, I've only seen one other on the road. As I've said previously, I travel all over Maryland and just got back from a trip to Williamsburg, VA. The other one I saw was right here in Maugansville, MD at the Waffle Shop (unbeleivable!). I'm sure there are plenty out there, I just haven't seen them.

Bauer, I am in Houston also. Russell and Smith told me that they had sold 6 before I received my Silver RTL. They definately are moving off the lot.
I have yet to see another on the road. Did you see the article in the Houston Chron Auto section on Wednesday? It was pretty good.
denvrfan 03-25-2005, 08:10 PM I am another new Ridgeline owner (RTL with moonroof, silver). I am anxiously awaiting my first RL sighting on the roads around Richmond VA. I park my RL within sight of my office window. The other day two employees took a very close look at my truck. They looked inside, they looked in the bed, I thought they were actually going to try out the swinging rear gate! My wife drives an Accord. It is fun to drive something unique for a change! Love my new RL!
Heinrich 03-26-2005, 03:46 PM My wife has actually seen two or three Ridgelines, while I have not seen any unless you count my own ;)
She even saw an Amazon green one, which is a more limited color, in our community with a roof rack...thought it was me and wondered why I didn't wave when I drove be ;)
shovelhd 03-26-2005, 09:44 PM I saw one the day I picked mine up. Figures.
denvrfan 04-30-2005, 10:17 PM I've owned my silver RTL for 6 weeks. I've put about 1000 miles on my new truck. During this period, I have been anxiously awaiting my first Ridgeline sighting on the streets around Richmond, VA. How would I react? Would I flash my headlights? Give my fellow RL owner a thumbs up? Blow my horn? Obviously, I've had a lot of time to think about it. Well, today it happened but not in the way I had planned. I'm sitting in an Italian restaurant in a strip center within 3 miles of home and I glance out the window into the parking lot. And there it was- a white RL with roof rack driving by!! The moment passed too quickly to determine what other accessories my fellow RL owner had bestowed on his/her new truck. My wife is still surprised about how excited I was to finally sight a RL in the wild!
Now I'm sitting here like a kid on Christmas night with all of the anticipation of that first sighting now out of my system. Hey, fellow RL owner- If you're a member of the ROC- nice looking truck! let's hear from you!
AlaskaRidge 04-30-2005, 10:25 PM Had my first sighting today as well on the way home. A blue Ridge with the bed loaded to the gills. Waved, but they were to busy jabbering on the cell.
Andre
Truckin' 04-30-2005, 10:48 PM I've seen two, but both were before we had our own Ridge to show we were part of the club. Now that we're driving one, we're getting lots of stares. It will be fun to see another while were riding high. I know a red one was sold the same day we picked ours up, but don't know if they live around here.
nwdiver 05-01-2005, 12:37 AM I haven't seen one either but I bet as soon as I start driving mine, I'll see one then. What would I do??? Hmmm. I wouldn't wave, that's for sure. That's what those jeep wrangler people do. ;)
mayfielh 05-01-2005, 01:04 AM After you get your we'll tell you the secret RL signal.
Gonzo 05-01-2005, 08:33 AM Come down to the Norfolk area and you will see MY RIDGE Silver RTL, no options yet but may be about to make H&A very happy soon with a big order!
Truckin' 05-01-2005, 09:38 AM I love your license plate!
We could fall back to the old hippie peace symbol if there isn't a secret Ridge wave already.
BamaRidge 05-01-2005, 01:11 PM I love your license plate!
We could fall back to the old hippie peace symbol if there isn't a secret Ridge wave already.
FAR OUT Man!
frbear 05-01-2005, 04:44 PM While crossing one of the bridges where I live, I came across a green Ridge driven by an older gentleman. To my excitement, I was not able to flash my lights. :D
AHart 05-02-2005, 09:10 PM I had a doctor appointment today, and as I pulled into the parking lot, I headed for the back row, where I was hoping to find lots of spare spaces. What I found there was a brand new steel blue RL. Great RL owners' minds think alike. I just had to pull in next to it. They made a great looking pair!
dsowell 05-06-2005, 10:01 PM My first sighting was a RL flying down the freeway. I tried to catch up but he was going to fast. Also it was before I bought mine.
Today was different.
I was going down the freeway about 75mph. I saw him up ahead. Silver.
What would I do?
I eased up next to him. He had seen me coming. He turned smiled and waved.
I waved back. Cool.
I've never felt this with any other vehicle. Cool  :D
Doug
Truckin' 05-06-2005, 10:34 PM I pulled into the parking lot, I headed for the back row, where I was hoping to find lots of spare spaces.
I finally convinced my husband to park out in the parking lot instead of in the front spaces. He's like a vulture looking for the best space. I like walking and I want a little elbow room for our Ridge so she doesn't get scratched. I hope he'll continue to look farther from the store for a good place to park.
shovelhd 05-07-2005, 06:49 AM I saw a red Ridgeline in the Wally World parking lot. It had the hitch and rear flares. That makes three I've seen so far.
I had another Amazon Green pass me on US1 as I was turning off towards the hospital last evening.
I have also seen a black with roof rack and running boards around my neighborhood.
denvrfan 05-10-2005, 10:38 AM Update- My Ridgeline-in-the-wild count has grown to 3! I was in Colorado last week and spotted a brand new green RL in Boulder. Of course, I was driving a dumpy Toyota Camry rental instead of my RL which was waiting for me back in Virginia. We pulled up next to the driver of the RL, my wife opened the car window and shouted out "nice truck". The driver smiled.
On the way home from the Richmond airport, I spotted another new RL, this one was black.
So, we've seen 3 (white, green and black). All of them seemed pretty gussied up with accessories, including roof racks on all.
jvacierto 05-11-2005, 11:57 AM After 2 months of nothing, I finally saw a Ridgeline in the wild! At first I didn't recognize it, weirdly enough, because I was right behind it and thought it was just another big black truck. Then I looked at the sides of the bed and thought "Hm, the sides are slanted just like the Ridgeline. Wait a minute . . ." I looked at the label and sure enough it WAS a Ridgeline.
Unfortunately, the plates were from Ohio (I live in Fort Wayne, Indiana), so it wasn't from around the area. I was also surprised by the size of it, even though I had checked out a Riddgeline in person when it first came out. I felt really dwarfed in my little Element. Then I had to switch lanes to exit.
It was impressive to see the Ridgeline out and about, finally.
Northwood 05-11-2005, 06:39 PM Still waiting for my first sighting.
I just look at mine. :)
I like to creep up on those lil' Elements,
then blow right past 'em! :D
frbear 05-11-2005, 07:18 PM Blew past a Chevy. Felt good.
ridgeman 05-11-2005, 07:52 PM You're bad Northwood - you're bad (-:
Dnucci 05-19-2005, 06:37 AM Well, it finally happen this morning. After 11 1/2 weeks and ~4600 miles driven in my RTS, I finally spotted another on the road!!!!!!
The Black Ridgeline pull up next to me on the highway - we waved - and went our separate ways. (Sounds better if spoken with an accent like the crocodile guy on TV).
jeffiam 05-19-2005, 08:18 AM saw a wild ridgeline creeping up behind me in my rear view mirror. think it was a silver one but before i could turn around and face the mighty beast.............it dissappeared into the city jungle. not to be seen again. oh there tricky little devils. ;)
bellteck 05-19-2005, 08:46 AM saw a wild ridgeline creeping up behind me in my rear view mirror. think it was a silver one but before i could turn around and face the mighty beast.............it dissappeared into the city jungle. not to be seen again. oh there tricky little devils. ;)
You the croc hunter or captain hook? ( Enter pirates of the caribbean music here ) :p :D
Ive seen 1 ridge on the road and 1 ridge in a parking lot - 1 Green and 1 Silver
Always on RidgeWatch though !! :D
jeffiam 05-19-2005, 09:13 AM ARRRRRRR.....................ME MATEY...... arrrrrrrrr :D
i forgot, i went to a store last week and sure enough, there was a ridge in the parking lot, resting no doubt from its hunting and killing of native tacomas.
so i park mine right next to him to let his owner know he is not alone
mayfielh 05-19-2005, 09:46 AM To date I have seen 4.
Red on I-5
Black driving by the Rec Center
A new Blue one getting some accessories
A Silver one owned by a Honda Sales person always sitting in the same parking spot.
Still looking for a White one.
shovelhd 05-19-2005, 09:47 AM so i park mine right next to him to let his owner know he is not alone
<JAWS theme plays>

denvrfan 05-19-2005, 10:46 AM 3 and holding after 2 months of ownership-
Green, white and black.
Makes you feel kind of alone out there, doesn't it?
swampler 05-19-2005, 10:50 AM Saw 1, blue, before ownership (saw same one 3 or 4 times)...haven't seen any since ownership (3 weeks this Saturday and 1400+ miles).
jeffiam 05-19-2005, 11:09 AM <JAWS theme plays>
boom boom.....
boom boom.....
boom boom.. boom boom.. boom boom.. boom boom..
LOL.......LOL.... :)
arteegee 05-19-2005, 11:17 AM Discovered Tuesday night a black one resides about a mile away. Mine is the only blue I've seen in the flesh. I think it has caused more doubletakes than any vehicle I ever owned including the first CRX-Si in my town in 1985. Said I would buy something that blends this time but it just ain't my nature I guess.
Biker 05-19-2005, 12:55 PM I just got back from a 3700 mile motorcycle trip thru CO, NM, AZ, CA, NV and UT and never saw a one. I was looking because I got mine the day before I left and was missing it.
The only other RL I've seen has been at the dealers.
I sure do love mine. I did have the over inflated tires though.
Truckin' 05-22-2005, 11:12 PM We had our first REAL sighting today. It was in the wilds of the Home Depot parking lot. DH said, "There's a Ridge," or I would have missed it. I'd wondered what my reaction would be. I'd just gotten out of my truck and they were driving away on the aisle in front of us. I hollered like crazy until I got their attention!
As soon as I walked up to the window raving about seeing another Ridge owner, the woman said, "Don't you remember me talking to you on the day you bought your truck?" Of course I did. She'd come over to admire it and said she thought it was beautiful. She wished us well with our new baby. I had no idea they were down there looking at a Ridgeline too.
We talked for a long time. They, unfortunately, are having water problems and have to take it back for the second time tomorrow. Otherwise, they love it. We exchanged phone numbers and I told them I would relay any info from this forum that might help them. They don't have the internet.
I'm sure I would have spotted their truck in the near future. It turns out they live on a road I take home from work. Now I'll be watching for it everyday I pass their house.
They are a very nice older couple, late 60s or early 70s, I would guess. They got green, she wanted blue like ours.
I'd seen a Ridge on the road twice before, but one was right in front of the dealer and was most likely on a test drive. I couldn't catch up with the other one to see if it had dealer, temporary or regular plates.
shovelhd 05-23-2005, 04:23 AM I saw one coming towards me in the opposite lane on Friday. I did a double take when I recognized the grille. It sure looks great from this angle.
jeffiam 05-23-2005, 01:15 PM saw an avalanche in lowe's parking lot the other day.............made sure i parked right beside it to let owner know theres a new sheriff in town. :D
shovelhd 05-23-2005, 01:17 PM More like a Junior Deputy - the Avalanche is MUCH bigger
JOERIDGE 05-23-2005, 01:21 PM Had a silver RL pull up next to me at a light and we both rolled down our windows and did the (no thats) game
no thats a nice truck - no thats a nice ruck - no excuse me thats a nice truck - no way man that is a nice truck! - dude thats a nice truck - I know this is a nice truck but that truck is nice!
its the first time I ever heard the RL take off. sounded good too!
hagerswami 05-23-2005, 02:23 PM Just saw another one and it was just like mine. It was heading away from my home area as I was heading in. Had to do a double take, too! :) That makes a total of three in the 2 and 1/2 months I've owned mine. :D
Long Gone 05-23-2005, 02:27 PM I have seen 3 in 8,489 miles and almost 3 months on the roads of Ohio from Lake Erie on down to Columbus. 2 White and 1 Silver. I like being the minority!!
denvrfan 05-23-2005, 08:23 PM Still sitting on 3 in about 1500 miles and 2+ months of ownership. The looks, stares and comments continue everywhere I go. The other day at the office, one person asked me about my RL when I arrived in the morning and another asked me about my truck as I left for the evening. I love the simple demo that I do for everybody who's interested: 1) swing the rear gate- watch the jaws drop 2) open the trunk- more gasps and wide eyes and 3) just for effect, close the gate and open it the old-fashioned way. What fun!
the kid 05-24-2005, 05:05 AM Other than the 300 or so I see everyday at the plant I have probably seen 10 or 12 on the road...was down in Toronto and saw 3 in the same parking lot I was in...ALL black :D
Truckin' 05-24-2005, 10:14 AM Kid, you take the record so far. Three in one place? How fun! Of course there could be some meets going on where more have gathered, but I haven't read about any.
ridge4me2 05-24-2005, 10:38 AM Just saw another one and it was just like mine. It was heading away from my home area as I was heading in. Had to do a double take, too! :) That makes a total of three in the 2 and 1/2 months I've owned mine. :D
Hagerswami, I'm down in Woodsboro, just outside of Frederick, you can come down and see my Ridgeline anytime! LOL
the kid 05-24-2005, 01:08 PM Even though there is only a small allotment for Canada there seems to be one everytime I turn around...funny thing is that in the same lot where I saw the three RL's there was a carbon copy of the rare care in Canada I am buying...a GPW s2000 :D I take delivery next week...this will be my first brand new car...not bad first car for 21 I guess
There are also loooooooooong waiting list for RL's up here...heard as long as 10 months
jeffiam 05-24-2005, 01:11 PM WOW!!
steveberger 05-24-2005, 01:13 PM Has anyone seen any statistics on how many have actually been delivered to customers?
the kid 05-24-2005, 01:16 PM If you look at Hondas monthy sales it will tell you that number up to the end of the current month...don't know how accurate it is because at the pace they are on now they would only sell about 45k this year They have already said they will be bumping production to 80k ;)
swampler 05-26-2005, 08:27 PM If you look at Hondas monthy sales it will tell you that number up to the end of the current month...don't know how accurate it is because at the pace they are on now they would only sell about 45k this year They have already said they will be bumping production to 80k ;)
Production typically starts slow and then ramps up, so I would expect that the increase to 80k means they are selling more than they expected to at this point. I wouldn't expect linear sales through the end of the year.
swampler 05-26-2005, 08:29 PM Saw my first RL today since I bought mine April 30 and 2000 miles later. As I was slowing to get off the interstate, a white RL passed me. I had previously seen a blue RL in town (if you can call it a town) before I got mine.
And a funny thing at work today...the Engineering Manager told me that he saw me in town (this one really was a town) a couple days back. He said he knew it was me because I had the only Honda truck in Tennessee. Not exactly true, but they are still rare around here.
77spartan 05-27-2005, 08:47 PM Finally saw another RL on the road. Upstate New York, it was red. Sure was strange seeing it come at me.....
Truckin' 05-27-2005, 08:52 PM I want to have more sightings. It makes me smile.
denvrfan 05-27-2005, 08:54 PM 3 and holding. Haven't seen another Ridgeline since Mothers' Day.
clayman 05-27-2005, 08:56 PM Spartan:
I live on Long Island in NY and I have yet to see another Ridgeline on the road (or in a parking lot or on a driveway). I feel like I'm in an extremely exclusive club.
Northwood 05-27-2005, 09:09 PM The only one I saw on the road was mine.
Was following the wife in a Uhaul.
It looked good. :)
RTL44 05-28-2005, 12:44 AM I still haven't seen one in Ohio. I did see one a few weeks ago in PA on my way to N.J.
steveberger 05-28-2005, 05:07 AM I bought mine March 14 and haven't seen another till yesterday. Stopped and talked to the guy who loves his truck. Shame on me I didn't ask him if he knew about this site!
shortspark 05-28-2005, 05:55 AM I have only seen one other Ridge on the road here in the eastern part of Texas. But this is known as the "Piney Woods" area of the state and there are not too many people around. I would think this kind of vehicle would probably be more popular near larger cities.
Truckin' 05-28-2005, 10:16 PM Shame on me I didn't ask him if he knew about this site!
I've been giving out the info about this site to anyone who seems interested in a possible purchase. It would be great if someone would make up a business card with the logo and web address that we could print out on bus. card stock. Anyone handy with such a task? They have it available on HeroicStories.com and it sure makes it easy to spread the word about that great website.
STEVE FROST 06-06-2005, 06:26 PM Took my son to Fontana, Ca. for the Southridge Downhill Mountain bike races. Seven Hundred miles there and back did not see one Ridgeline, except one at the race, a brand new black RTL.
It was parked next to the Turner/Honda team tent. I kept waiting for the owner to show up so I could tell him what a silly looking truck he had, just for a reaction.
I asked the guys at the Turner/Honda tent if it was one of theirs, they said no but one of there riders works for Honda and was on the design team for the Ridgeline, I spoke to him later and thanked him for the design work, showed him my license plate frame that reads Cadarac Escarade, he stated that there was no intent to copy the GM products, the look is simular only by the fact they designed the Honda to fill specific tasks that dictated the ultimate look.
He was a great fan of the truck, said he had a great time driving the truck on the test track, stated it was much better flying onto and off the dirt table tops than the other trucks they used to compare it to. It was also shown to be a superior tow vehicle.
Honda either does not pay him well enough or does not discount their cars to the employees enough as he was driving an older Toyota double cab. He is saving up for the Ridgeline.
PS: Best I could do for MPG was 19.9 on I-5 cruise control set at 78. Either end of this trip had a mountain pass to climb and some city driving before fill up. I would like to see better but I am not going to slow down. Wish it were 35-40, but as my Dad used to say: wish in one hand and..................
When I am on my motorcycle, I give the salute to other riders. That's the custom around here. When I am in my Corvette, I give a wave to other Vettes. When I am in my Ridgeline, I am just in a truck. Sacriledge I suppose.
STEVE FROST 06-07-2005, 10:40 AM Posted a note under First Sighting yesterday, it did not show up as a new post?
Took my Son to a downhill mountain bike race in Fontana Ca. Southridge MTB race.
Seven hundred miles there and back on I-5 No Ridgeline's seen, Except one parked near me at the race. It was a brand new black RTL. Kept looking for the owner to tell him what a silly looking truck he had just for a reaction.
The truck was parked next to the Turner/Honda team tent,
I asked the guys at the tent it the truck belonged to one of them. They said no but one of the team members worked for Honda and was on the design team for the Ridgeline.
I spoke with him later thanked him for his efforts and showed him my license plate frame that reads, Cadarac Escarade, he stated they made no attept to copy the look of the GM products, it just happened that they were trying to meet some specific goals in the design and it just worked out looking simular.
He was a great fan of the truck, stated he had great fun driving it on a dirt test track, he felt it did especialy well flying onto and off of some of table tops. It also excelled in towing, the were comparing it to other competitors at the time.
I guess that Honda does not discount to their employee's enough or they did not pay him well enough as he was driving an older Toyota double cab. He said he was saving his pennies for the Ridgeline.
PS: My best millage on this trip was 19.8 MPG, Cruise control set at 76-78 for the bulk of the trip. There were mountain pass's to cross at either end of the trip, plus some city driving, so I would expect that the straight highway portion would be spot on the advertized 21MPG.
I could probably do better if I slowed down but thats not likely. I wish I could get 35-40 MPG, but as my Dad said Wish in one hand and .......................
denvrfan 06-07-2005, 10:45 AM When I am on my motorcycle, I give the salute to other riders. That's the custom around here. When I am in my Corvette, I give a wave to other Vettes. When I am in my Ridgeline, I am just in a truck. Sacriledge I suppose.
Cmon, Nox. You've joined a pretty exclusive club, with only +/-10,000 Ridgelines on the road NATIONWIDE. You really should show a little more excitement about one of the most unique rides on the road today (forget the fact that it has pickup truck functionality).
maybearidge 06-07-2005, 11:26 AM I saw only my second one in 3 months...this one was stuffed full of a 4-wheeler in the back. I was right behind him and he got to the right so i could go by and he could look at me.....we both just stared...kind of like when an animal sees a mirror. It was a very strange moment. I guess we were seeing who would wave first.
marko17 06-07-2005, 11:33 AM first sighting was a white one..........2 hours later i bought mine......only other sighting i repeatedly see, a steel blue that a contractor uses commercially... its hard to believe i haven't seen more, but thats o.k.
I saw my first Redrock Pearl in the wild earlier today.
maybearidge 06-07-2005, 12:54 PM It seems like FLA, CA and AZ are winning the race in the amount of RLs per capita. With all of the people in my area, I am amazed I do not see more. I also do not drive it that much or drive in general that much. Does anyone know of sales data by state??

Hmm.. would it shock you if I told you that I have had the Ridgeline now for 3 weeks, and have driven it only 3 times?
I love the Ridgeline, it is everything I wanted and more. It's much nicer actually, than I expected. But I truly bought it to be a utility vehicle; a means to an end if you will.
I don't drive it any more or any less just because it is new, and so far, this week, I've been driving my motorcycles, and Vette due to the nice weather.
I am sure the Ridgeline will get its turn, but right now the weather is just too nice to be caged.
BamaRidge 06-07-2005, 03:22 PM Is this Nox from 'Cuse?
frbear 06-07-2005, 06:04 PM Drove down to Detroit yesterday. 250 miles two way and not one Ridge. Hmm..
Nicholas 06-07-2005, 08:47 PM Drove to the NSA building at Fort Meade, Maryland last weekend to visit my son, seen a steel blue one in their parking lot and today while driving thru a small town just down the road from my house to pick-up some parts, seen a lady sitting on the road side in a Amazon green one (wanted to actually stop and say, "Hi!") but was pressed for time...
denvrfan 06-08-2005, 10:35 AM Call this 1 1/2 Ridgeline sightings yesterday. My wife was driving to DC on business and calls me at the office to tell me she's driving next to a green RL, with no visible accessories. This is the 1/2 sighting since my better half saw it but not me.
Same day, I'm leaving the office after another long 12hr day. I'm sitting at the stop light and what drives by? A carbon copy of my silver RTL! Unfortunately, he/she drove past me before I had a chance to acknowledge.
After a month of not seeing another RL, we see 2 in one day! So, the official tally after 11 weeks of ownership is now 4 1/2. (2 green, 1 white, 1 silver).
shovelhd 06-08-2005, 11:45 AM I drove in the the driveway of my son's school this morning, and right in front of me was a white RTL with RI plates. That makes #4.
SSquire 06-08-2005, 12:49 PM I've only seen one (Silver) in town last week. I wanted to have the first one, then I noticed the MA plates (I'm in RI) and was happy again! :)
the kid 06-08-2005, 03:13 PM Man I saw 270 of them today...guess I win :D
utvnut 06-08-2005, 03:32 PM Yesterday a black Ridgeline drove by me in Centreville, Virginia and did not see me! How can you drive one and not see all others??
This was my 1st sighting in 52 day days of ownership and 1400 miles.
shovelhd 06-08-2005, 07:25 PM To some people, it's just a vehicle. They bought it because Consumer Reports told them to.
Truckin' 06-08-2005, 07:38 PM Yippee! I saw another one today. That makes a total of four in five weeks of ownership, 2000 miles on the road and another month of anticipation before ours arrived.
I was on the way to work just a mile or two from home. A red one turned down Airport drive toward our small, municipal airport. I followed, but it had some distance on me. I was in my Jeep GC so they wouldn't have paid any attention to me. I didn't catch up enough to see exactly where it went in the airport and didn't have much spare time or I would have tracked them down. It had temporary paper plates, so I know it's someone's new baby.
On the way home tonight it occured to me that it might actually be the couple we showed our rig off to on the day we set up our electric assist brakes for our trailer. They loved it and the man is a parachute enthusiast and photographer, so it really could have been him going to the airport. I wish I could remember their names and I'd call to see if they bought it. I told them about this site, so if you are on here reading this, let me know.
It was a good way to start my day.
ridgelurker 06-08-2005, 08:10 PM drove 7-8 hours yesterday and didn't see a single ridgeline. i've seen 2 but those were before i had my truck. i have driven about 850 miles since i got the truck last Saturday since i'm still off from work.
old guy 06-08-2005, 09:54 PM Oddly enough, I have had mine since March 1 and have yet to see another, here in SoCal. I think that explains the head turns that still occur.
Mountain Ridge 06-08-2005, 10:34 PM No, I have not seen one on the road yet either , and I drive about 5000km/ 3500miles a month.
Ordered mine with dealer Jan 10th, but my color with nav arrived May 10th. Canadian release a month behind all the rest of you.
My wife drives it daily, and she shure gets all the stares!
We actually do not mind being a bit different.
clayman 06-10-2005, 07:57 PM I finally saw another Ridgeline! I drove to a client in New Rochelle, NY and had another Ridgeline pull up along-side me (also steel blue). We exchanged thumbs up and went our seperate ways. It will probably be another month or two before I see another.
meanmachine19 06-11-2005, 10:36 AM Saw my second 'in the wild' sighting yesterday while driving my work truck. It was a red RL with Nevada plates (I'm in Arizona). The second one I've seen around here besides my good friend's RL. :D
shortspark 06-11-2005, 11:36 AM I have seen one on the road in the East Texas area (Tyler, Longview and surrounding counties) although the credit manager at my Honda dealership showed me his Blue RTL.
Now I'm in the Rochester, NY and Finger Lakes region visiting relatives and in the past week the only Ridgelines I've seen have been on the Honda lots.
Northwood 06-11-2005, 10:58 PM Still have not seen another one.
But, it seems when I park anywhere shopping, away from EVERTHING,
all by myself, I come out to find an older truck parked next to me.
Coincidence? I think not! :)
swampler 06-12-2005, 12:23 PM Finally saw another one yesterday. Black RTL with moonroof (and I suspect NAVI) in the Sears parking lot. I parked next to it for the benefit of the other owner, but it was still there when I left.
Mine was cleaner though! :D
That makes a total of 4...blue one in town, white one on Interstate, another white one in Knoxville, and this black one at Sears.
I think I have seen every color out in the wild except white. My wife said that she parked next to a white one at the Brevard Zoo several weeks ago. The most common colors that I have seen are black, siver, and green (in no particular order).
Whew, got the post count off that unlucky number!
Long Gone 06-14-2005, 08:28 AM Saw a Blue Ridge ( I just love that "Blue Ridge", reminds me of the mountains ) yesterday on the way home from work driving through downtown Cleveland. She sure was perdy!! I tried to get in front of him to show him my RidgelineOwnersClub.com magnet positioned right next to the Rick Case emblem I proudly wear but the traffic was too heavy. All I could do was pass him and wave excitedly and honk my horn. :D I looked in the side mirror and saw that he saw me and he was smiling. You would think...me working in a dealership...surrounded by Ridgelines...I wouldn't get so worked up when I see one on the road. But I do!! ;) Lets just hope he knows about us. Maybe he's here already. It sure would be  to have a Clevelander on here.
denvrfan 06-16-2005, 10:48 AM Ridgeline sighting #5 now in the books! Saw a decked out blue RL this morning on the way to work. So here's where they've been sighted so far:
#1- white- strip center parking lot in Glen Allen VA.
#2- green- on the main drag though Boulder CO.
#3- black- outside of the Richmond VA airport (returning from Colorado).
#4- silver- on a street outside of my office in the West End of Richmond.
#5- blue- this morning in Glen Allen VA.
Plus, my wife saw a green RL on the streets outside of Wash. DC. Are there any of the owners in our club
bellteck 06-16-2005, 11:46 AM Ya know the amazing thing about this is .. some of us are actually seeing each other and have no idea !!
We need a secret ROC wav so we know if its a fellow ROC'R :D

Long Gone 06-16-2005, 12:24 PM How about the high sign like Spanky did on the Little Rascals?
Yeah..that's perfect. :D
bellteck 06-16-2005, 12:43 PM OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO TAY!!!!! ;)
Tex's Ridge 06-16-2005, 01:25 PM OK!! Great!! BTW what is the sign Spanky did? Was not born here in the US, never saw LR.
RidgeOwner3 06-16-2005, 03:58 PM I just saw my second one! First in my area, the other was in Eureka, NV, which was weird cuz it's a ultra-small Pony Express stop in eastern NV.
Anyway, it's been 3 1/2 months and finally saw a local one right outside my office window! Black. So now I know there's a silver one and a black one in town!
DABRidgeman333 06-16-2005, 08:09 PM Long Post but its my story so i wanted to share!!
OK, I'm a newbie so im just getting caught up on all these threads, so here i go.
Loosing track of time now, but my first actual sighting was the sighting that put me on the path to ownership. As i mentioned in my intro story of my first post, (New ridgeline in New England thread w/pic, check it out). I was at Home Depot in Lowell, MA one evening a buncha months back and as i pulled into my spot with my wife (in her 04 civic by the way). I did a double take because i saw what looked like a REAL pretty truck. Now mind you all i had seen was concepts ads and the like. So i went right over to it to find a honda rep driving it. And he showed me around and basicaly sold me on the truck.
Between then and the time i actually bought my truck i saw one lone silver ridge around my town (Lowell also) in passing. ("Bummer, wish i had one", i thought).
May 5th i took delivery of my baby. Since then me and my wife were driving up to ME and saw a Green Ridge. I honked as i past him in the fast lane but i dont think he responded.
ANYWAY. all my blathering is getting me to the real actual REGULAR sighting. I can only assume its the same silver Ridge in Lowell. But where i work i see the silver ridge parked in the lot across the street almost once a week. Ive yet to get a chance to go talk to him/her. But one day i will. See its a parking lot to a bar that we frequent after work some times. so its just a matter of time before there are TWO pretty Ridges in the lot at once. So if anyones on the board has heard of Kilkenny's pub in Lowell and owns a silver Ridge, SAY HI! Im thinking of going over and putting a ROC.com card of some sort on his windsheild to get him to visit the site, but well see.
So thats my story! Hope to see more soon. Either way im proud to say im one of the VERY few in my area. Im going in this weekend to the dealership for a few things, im going to ask how sales have been in the area.
jayman 06-17-2005, 04:10 PM I've not seen another Ridge in the KC area yet, so I get a lot of long looks of curiosity from other drivers around me. About a week after I got the truck, I was on a 4-lane highway when a fairly tricked-out Civic pulled up beside me. When I looked over, the young driver gave me a big smile and a thumbs up. It was as if little brother was admiring big brother and saying "I want to be just like you some day."
HenryHonda 06-19-2005, 10:31 PM Up here in Canada we had to wait until April for the official launch of the RL. But I actually had a sighting in March. A white one going the opposite direction just west of Alliston. Probably someone from the plant taking one for a run. It was fleeting but it sure got the heart a-beatin! :p
End of March, happened to be driving by the Honda dealer near our cottage, and there they were! A blue and a black, roadside. Stopped and drooled with the wife for a while. Dealership was closed and so we had to wait until the next week to order ours.
Anyway, I digress...Sightings have been few and far between in the Toronto area since. Where are all the RLs, I keep asking myself? I know there out there!
Last week, I was getting on the highway (QEW) and I see a familiar profile heading west...FAST. It was hauling stuff in the back and I just had to see. It took my little Toy Echo quite a few miles to catch up (wife had the Ridge that day :( ). This Silver Bullet had a couple of boards in the bed. Sailboards? And what looked like a dog bed. Ring a bell with anyone? Gave up the chase as it was heading towards Niagara and I was already well past my exit.
Even though we've owned one now for a month, I'm still a looker when it comes to these beauties.
I LUV MY RIDGE :D
77spartan 06-20-2005, 06:24 AM Saw a red RL coming down my road yesterday. I was very surprised since I live on a back road in a rural town in upstate NY. I saw it coming down the road but didn't realize what it was until it was right on top of me. Had a roof rack.....I really like the roof rack.
DABRidgeman333 06-20-2005, 03:30 PM saw it again... silver Ridge. In the Pub pariking lot. Couldnt get over there though. dang WORK!
denvrfan 06-20-2005, 08:32 PM Ridgeline sighting #5 now in the books!
Ok- I saw my #5 Ridgeline for the second time this morning, in the exact same place on the road (Mountain Road and Staples Mill in Glen Allen, VA if you're out there, fellow RL owner). We're obviously on the same schedule, leaving for the office at about 7:15am. I've been surprised by this sighting 2x now. I'll be ready for him tomorrow morning :D
tnmkrieger 06-20-2005, 09:07 PM Never saw the Ridgeline until we were driving down 'Mile of cars' in National City, San Diego. We were test driving all day and the ridgeline drove past and stopped us in our tracks! we made a U-turn and headed straight for the Honda Dealership! We test drove and fell in love! From there it was just searching for the right deal. Never saw another one on the road until we bought ours. Drove off the lot this last saturday and got on the highway. What do ya know, Ridgeline drives past us and we felt like we were seeing our long lost brother! It was too funny the way we reacted! Haven't seen one since! But the stares I get boost's my buy 120%. Every truck owner on the road turns their heads. I had people walking around my truck all day today like kids in a candy store! I had a guy park in front of me this morning at the albertsons. He rolled down the window and asked if this was the new honda. I said Yep like a new proud mom! He said "can I check her out?" I looked at my watch and said "sure, come on!" Then I showed off my new baby! Can't beat the proud moments I have felt all day today! And just think, tomorrow is a new day! LOL
Rocker 06-21-2005, 05:19 AM Finally, I have had mine 3 months and not one on the road until this morning. I spot a cool looking green truck with roof rack and go "wow look at that thing, oh my god its a Ridge." I tried to catch up to him as he turned into the train parking lot here but that was it. I actually park next door for work so I can keep my eye out in the mornings now. It's funny to get excited about seeing another one.

You'll never forget that first sighting "in the wild" :D
swampler 06-21-2005, 01:00 PM 1100 mile round trip from home to Panama City Beach and back and not a single RL sighting along the way (except for a green RL and black RL on the dealer lot along Hwy 231 in FL). Still at a count of 4 for me.
denvrfan 06-21-2005, 07:53 PM Not a lot of sightings out there but doesn't the hunt make driving the interstates just a little more interesting?? :D
I saw a white Ridgeline tonight while I was driving to SportsAuthority. The vehicle was white but it had what looked like the black body side protectors. It also had a roof rack, Honda 'bull bar', and running boards (I think). It was getting dark and it was raining at the time.
DABRidgeman333 06-27-2005, 01:16 PM Whats a reverse sighting? its my new term for what happened to me today. Weve been talking about Ridgelines weve seen on the road, or in parking lots. But what about when WE are "sighted"!? I was comming out of the post office today and a guy and his wife stopped me and was like . "so how do you like your truck". They told me that i was the first one they have seen on the road ever! They were not owners but were very intrigued by the vehicle. Just thought id share. Anyone else have a reverse sighting??
arteegee 06-27-2005, 01:26 PM D-duh-dozens of em. I thought maybe you saw yourself on the road. That would be cause for alarm.:p
lotisb 06-27-2005, 01:36 PM Yeah, these sightings are commonplace for me now. I got the truck on Saturday evening and so far I've had four walk ups. Basically people want to see the trunk. The last one happened this morning when I pulled into the office... "Hey bud! Can I see the trunk; is it big?"
Long Gone 06-27-2005, 02:22 PM Everyday, sometimes a couple times a day.
Like today...I went through Taco Hell, oops.. sorry I mean Taco Bell and the kid in the window said, "Hey, nice truck". I thanked him kindly and he gave me an extra cheesy fiesta potato. Hmmm..wonder what else I can get with this truck????
lotisb 06-27-2005, 02:26 PM Hmmm..wonder what else I can get with this turck????
I dunno, but it will be fun trying, won't it. :p
captmiddy 06-27-2005, 02:38 PM I got a ring at my door today from FedEx to drop off a package, and the guy stood there chatting with me for about 10 minutes about how I liked my Ridgeline and how he was in the middle of making a decision on what to buy next to replace his Odyssey. He asked how it drove, how I liked it, if mine had Nav and if I liked that. I told him he should go try one out, and told him he would be kicking himself if he bought something without at least trying it first. Even if he didn't buy one, it wouldn't leave him with the thought of what-if that could loom over him the entire time he had the replacement vehicle. He is also looking into a Pilot but isn't a real fan of SUVs so he thought the Ridgeline was a better fit. Obviously his real problem is convincing his wife based on what he was saying, and if she rides in this truck she will probably love it.
I have also had people stare at me while I drive by not knowing what to do with me. Some I don't even notice but my wife has noticed, and their eyes are sort of like this:  all bugged out and such ;). People don't tend to miss my red truck, and I have only had it for 4 days now, and I dare you to try to take it away from me.
Nicholas 06-27-2005, 02:49 PM Of all the vehicles my ex and I ever owned...this vehicle (which, by the way, is mine...lol) has brought on the most questions and to be truthful...a few crude remarks (which I have ignored so far). It does seem to attrach attention!!!
Every morning in the parking lot at work someone else who arrives at the same time as I do says something like "Oh, you're the guy with the new truck! Great truck, how do you like it?" Today I got this again, followed by "can I see the trunk?" There I was giving a demo at 7am. But I don't mind turning people onto the Ridgeline.
dsowell 06-27-2005, 10:37 PM I was on my way back from an airsoft event. I stopped for gas and a guy in a F250 pulled in behind me. He said "bitchen truck, looks like you really use it".
It was covered with dirt and full of camping equipment and a camo net covering everything.
He said he had not seen one up close and asked me how I liked it.
Of course I told him I loved the truck.
This seems to happen every time I fill up.
AHart 06-28-2005, 06:11 AM I left a meeting last night, and my RL drew a crowd. But I was hungry and tired, so I skipped the obligatory demo of the tailgate and trunk. Just a quick "find nearest italian restaurant" for the navi, and I was out of there.
shovelhd 06-28-2005, 06:24 AM It's amazing how many more inquiries and demo requests I got this month compared to last month. Last month, people were curious as to what it was. This month, they know what it is and want to know more. I attribute this to three factors:
1) Consumer Reports rating
2) NTHSA crash test results
3) Stepped-up Honda advertising
IMO the major factor is the amazing influence that Consumer Reports has on the American consumer. I saw the same thing happen with the Pilot.
captmiddy 06-28-2005, 08:04 AM The new advertising is great. I have a Tivo and really seldom watch commercials. But when the Ridgeline commercials come on I pause to watch them instead of forwarding over them. My wife is getting tired of hearing, hey it is my truck ;). I get far too excited over seeing the commercials, but you would think she would get used to it, I did the same thing with Civic Hybrid commercials right after we bought that.
My truck is taking the week off now though, at least the work week, it will be out again this weekend for a trip to a nearby lake to take us canoeing.

Awesome. I love to canoe. Have a blast.

My experience is just the opposite. I seemed to be getting more attention back in March and April than I am now. I haven't had a gas station or parking lot "encounter" in weeks. It's one of the best things about owning a unique vehicle. In my area, we have a local grocer that insists on bringing your groceries to your car. I can't even get boo out of these baggers when I swing open the gate and open the trunk. Of course, I always need to be careful when swinging the gate since they don't expect this kind of door action :D Wouldn't want to hit them.

arteegee 06-28-2005, 04:16 PM I was fine till the arse backed up and threatened me for getting his tag number. Would have let it go but after that felt it my duty to report it.
Sorry for hijacking the thread. :o
Ultra-HOG 06-28-2005, 04:20 PM I came out of a store this afternoon just as two guys that had been giving my Ridgeline the hairy eyeball went in. I heard one of them (I think it was the other ones cousin-dad) say "ya, but ya cant haul anything in that thing". I guess he thought that Honda is the only company that makes a truck with a short bed. I should have whipped out my "hitch-hand" and shown him that this truck can haul 4 by 12 (thats right, twelve) sheets of plywood or drywall in the bed with the extension. I really didn't want to waste my time on that Gomer. The Hitch-Hand would have been too complicated for him to understand. He certainly couldn't do the math. His Deawoo somethin-or-other didn't have a hitch anyway, but it did have a big funny looking spoiler that I think he made in shop class. Cousin-dad did brag that he was the smartest kid in the 9th grade for three years straight.

DABRidgeman333 06-28-2005, 09:42 PM Lovin the stories... Yeah. as for me. Ive had plenty of lookeyloos. drive by neck turners or walk bys in the parking lot. But the other day, someone actually stopping me to ask about it, that was different and nice! I hope more people approach. keep em comming.!
methodtim 06-29-2005, 02:19 PM My first reverse sighting happened about thirty minutes after I took ownership of the car. I parked it at a 7-11 to go get some smokes. As I was having a cig by the car (can't bear to smoke in my new car...), a Ford Sport Track parks next to me. The owner came out and started chatting me up about my truck - how do I like it, etc., etc. I felt kind of bad for not being able to give him all the info he wanted - I had had the truck for only an hour! He seemed really intrigued and said he wanted to trade in his Ford for the RL. I can't say I blame him. :)
methodtim 06-29-2005, 08:23 PM I had my first sighting today on the way home from work (Mountain View, CA -> San Jose, CA). It was a silver one just like mine. I kind of don't know how to react. My first impulse was to pout a little because the uniqeness factor of my new truck just went down a notch. However, I very much want this product to succeed. The more RL's there are on the road, the more third-party accessories will be manufactured (including door speakers that will actually fit), so in the end I'm happy that I'm not the only one who has discovered this amazing truck. It also feels good to know that I didn't buy an Aztec (although I knew that already, positive reinforcement never hurts :)). If you're the owner of the RL I saw, drop me a PM and say hi. :D
shovelhd 06-29-2005, 08:26 PM I saw a bone stock black RTL-S/R at the movieplex tonight after we saw The Longest Yard. I'd seen another black one previously but it was accessorized.
captmiddy 06-30-2005, 07:29 AM The day I picked up my car, was also the day before our anniversary. I promised to take my wife out to eat and to a movie at the IMAX in town. Well you know how you are with a brand new car, you want to park a far away from any one as possible. So we parked all the way on the back side of the restaurant's parking lot. It was early and the lot was empty. There was no one parked in this area, just us. When we came out there were 5 cars in the same sections with at least 4 or 5 dozen spaces closer to the restaurant (and this is the only reason you would park in this lot). I guess a lot of people wanted a closer look before they went in ;).
rogerstruck 07-03-2005, 08:50 AM A very nice lady in town owns a silver RTL R/S with hitch. She was kind enough to show me her truck, she did such a great job, I went to the Honda Dealer & bought my Green RTL R/s the same day. I have not regretted do that. I like this truck, it grows on you every time you drive it. :D
Rocker 07-03-2005, 06:36 PM I have posted before about finally seeing another Ridge near where I work. Today was the first time I have seen one in the town where I live after 3 months where there is a honda dealer. A silver one and at a four way light and the guy honked his horn and I yelled and gave him thumbs up. So the first time an enthusiastic response. It was funny with all the other boring cars looking on as we acknowledge each other. :D
MsRidgeline 07-03-2005, 08:49 PM There's a black one around our part of town that I first began seeing mid-May when we first bought our R/L. Then a little over a week ago, I saw a white one heading north on I-75 with a Florida tag. So far, I've been in our Acura and not the R/L. They still seem pretty scarce around here and ours draws lots of looks on the road and starts a lot of conversations in parking lots. ;)
BamaRidge 07-04-2005, 12:18 AM I've seen a lot of Ridgelines lately. I think my small town has more Ridges per capita then anyplace else in the US. There's a black one in my neighborhood, a silver I see everyday on my way to work, a white and two blacks on the highway this week alone. I have yet to see a red one though.
Kellcut 07-04-2005, 09:06 AM I saw a red one on Thursday. Had a large appliance in the bed. We were on a winding road and I pointed at that truck and the driver in that truck was pointing at us. It was funny.
Long Gone 07-04-2005, 09:12 AM I saw a Black Beauty ( no roof rack ) in Cleveland last week heading south out of town on 77. Anyone in here claim that Ridgeline??
captmiddy 07-04-2005, 09:41 AM I have seen a black one on the highway, and there was a silver one parked in someone's driveway a few streets away, but it had dealer plates on it so I am not as impressed by seeing that one. Poor demo vehicle. I have yet to be in my truck when I see another one, have to wonder if there is some conservation law around here where only one RL can be out at a time. I better to check to make sure it was my weekend ;).
Truckin' 07-04-2005, 11:17 AM I now see the Amazon Green one that was sold locally fairly regularly in its driveway. These are the only owners we've actually talked to and it turns out they live on my short commute from work.
Someone owns a Red one and either lives right in my town or is here frequently to get to the local airport. I've seen it twice.
Like CaptMiddy, it seems that I see them (3 different colors) when I'm in my Jeep and they'd have no reason to notice me. The only exception was when we met the Green's owners at Home Depot.
larryr 07-04-2005, 11:32 AM From the 1st time I parked it on the 1st day. A Toyota Tundra driver was drooling on my Ridgeline and went Ape after I showed him the hidden trunk. ( he now has a silver Ridgeline ). And it still is happening. I wish the local dealer paid for referals as I know that at least 10 of the reverser are now Ridgeline owners or Element owners. :)
But I had another Ridgeline owner ask me a question while filling up last week and I knew the answer because I read this forum. I also put him onto the ROC.
But I did show him how get past his Nav problem ( and I don't have a Nav in my unit ). And told him to call Honda and demand the trip feature be added back. ( he was looking for that as his neighbor has an Odyssey with that feature and is why he bought the Nav unit ).
Long Gone 07-04-2005, 07:35 PM Looks like they are starting to emurge!!!!!!
maybearidge 07-07-2005, 11:30 AM I saw a silver one with side steps and NAV in NYC at lunch today....NY plates. First one in a long time.
tnmkrieger 07-08-2005, 11:50 AM 4th of July my family and I went to Santee, CA for the fireworks display. So, I'm standing on the balcony and there it was! A Ridgeline drove through the back parking lot! Same color as mine too! OMG! Do I wave? Do I yell? Do I jump the balcony and run down the parking lot like a mad woman to tell the fellow Ridge owner I have one too? So my heart is racing, I know I sound like an idiot but yes, I screamed out to my sister-in-law "OMG, there's a ridge! look!" ....
The phone rings and its my husband "Honey what do you want from the store?"...
I say "Where are you? I thought you were out at the pool?"
He says "No, we are leaving the parking lot now heading for Albertsons" :o
RidgeOwner3 07-08-2005, 12:03 PM That's funny!
We were just down in Southern Cal, stayed at Capistrano Beach, San Juan Capistrano. Drove to LA a few times to Universal Studios and Hollywood, and also to the San Diego Zoo once. I was sorry we took the Camry instead of the Ridge, but we saw a few Ridgelines down there and one in Malibu. They were like celebrity sitings!
When we returned home, I saw a couple more around here. They're out there, more and more.

I hear the fireworks in Santee are pretty nice, never managed to go there, did see the display in El Cajon one year, was less than impressed in comparison to the Boston show but it wasn't too bad. Hard to find someplace to park where you can see them in that area though.
tedridge 07-08-2005, 01:07 PM According to you it's more likely you'll see your own Ridgeline on the road than another one right?
That is too freakin' hilarious!!!!! :D
meanmachine19 07-08-2005, 02:26 PM I sense a blonde joke (or a blonde moment.....) LOL...so do I dare ask?? :D
tnmkrieger 07-08-2005, 06:43 PM According to you it's more likely you'll see your own Ridgeline on the road than another one right?
Seems like it.. for the last month I haven't seen any other Ridge since the night I bought the truck and passed one on the highway as soon as I got on. No worries, I like being the envy of the town.. :D
tnmkrieger 07-08-2005, 06:46 PM I sense a blonde joke (or a blonde moment.....) LOL...so do I dare ask?? :D
LOL ummmmmm I pleed the 5th. Actually its only by choice that I'm blonde on the outside and brunette on the outside! Come-on though, that could have happened to anyone. LOL :D
That was just to funny to keep to myself though LOL
tnmkrieger 07-08-2005, 06:55 PM I hear the fireworks in Santee are pretty nice, never managed to go there, did see the display in El Cajon one year, was less than impressed in comparison to the Boston show but it wasn't too bad. The fireworks in Santee are awesome!! We have seen pretty much all over town and the best I have seen are there.
Truckin' 07-08-2005, 07:02 PM That was just to funny to keep to myself though LOL
That was too funny not to share! As I read it I remembered the first RL I saw while we were in our truck. I did run through the parking lot, yelling like a mad woman until I got their attention. A lovely conversation with the couple followed.
emgun 07-08-2005, 10:19 PM I recently drove from NJ to RI and did not see one other Ridgi on the road. Round trip that is about 900 miles. Disapointing to say the least.
However, I did see a black Ridgie with NY plates on the NJ TPK near Newark airport when coming back from an appointment. We were both traveling in the same direction. As stated before what do you do? Wave? Flash lights? Honk? Being a motorcyclist, we wave to each other as we pass. In this case I pulled along side. I pulled along side in the middle lane pulling even with him as he drove in the right lane. The passenger noticed my truck first and practically belted the driver when she nudged his shoulder pointing to me. We both nodded our heads gave a thumbs up.
lostboyz13 07-08-2005, 10:33 PM i drove from texas to chicago and only saw one other ridge although some dude in a vette saw me drive by and he sped up to pass me, then his passenger put a magazine up to the back window that showed a picture of the ridge and gave me a thumbs up thought that was kool
Truckin' 07-09-2005, 10:27 AM We just had another bonafide sighting while in our Ridge. It's the red one I've seen in our town a couple of times while driving my jeep. It's the first time my husband's seen it.
We were cutting through a back road on the way back from taking our cat to the vet. I noticed it coming straight toward us. I leaned into the windshield and waved frantically with both hands to make sure they noticed. They did and waved back.
It's a good way to change directions in what started out as a trouble filled day!
ridged 07-09-2005, 11:16 AM I live in a metro area where the population is around 100,000. I've only been checkin' for a couple of weeks but I still haven't seen another Ridge on the road - not even on a trip to Detroit (3 hours away on the Interstate). It doesn't really bother me since it puts more focus on mine.
Of course, if anyone wants to steal a Ridge in my area, I won't be too happy to be the center of attention. Maybe I should etch the glass to discourage theives, or maybe I'll expoxy RFID chips on various components and then add a scary sticker advising that a sophisticated tracking system is installed. :p
Truckin' 07-09-2005, 01:58 PM Ridged,
You're right about loyalty amongst Ridgeline owners and Mac owners. It's easy to be loyal when you have a thoughtfully developed, superior product.
If you ever see someone going by the name of MacLoyal on any of your Mac sites, it's probably me.
Finding another Mac user is as much fun for me as seeing a Ridge on the road. Welcome aboard.
meanmachine19 07-09-2005, 03:40 PM tnmkrieger, thanks for sharing a very amusing moment and I agree, it could have happened to anyone (blonde or not!).
I pretty much feel the same way when I see another RL in the wild....I wanna talk to them, wave, etc.....but I have only had the opportunity to briefly talk to one out of 5-6 sightings I've had. I even pulled along side of one the other day (and passed him after he had tunnel vision....). I hoped to talk to him at the upcoming (red) traffic light but he went a different direction :(
Anyway, thanks again for sharing your funny moment with us!
shortspark 07-09-2005, 03:59 PM Finally saw another Ridge and we almost collided! I was going into the security gate at our country club and she was coming out of a side street. We saw each other at the same time and we were both so amazed we both kept on going - almost a crash!! It was a silver one too! The lady lives out of town and was just visiting. Only the second Ridge I've seen in nearly two months.
ridged 07-09-2005, 04:53 PM If you ever see someone going by the name of MacLoyal on any of your Mac sites, it's probably me..I'll be on the lookout! I noticed that vertrkr, the VersionTracker guy (Kurt, I think) participates here too. I wonder if he's still a Mac user. ;)
Finding another Mac user is as much fun for me as seeing a Ridge on the road. Welcome aboard.I agree, and thanks!

Tex's Ridge 07-11-2005, 07:29 AM Since March, I've been keeping an eye out for another Ridgeline, and finally saw one yesterday...wondering if she is a ROC? We were both stopped at a red light, she was making a right off Pleasant Valley RD onto the on-ramp for 84 W. She drives a Silver with roof rack and brush guard...she was a beauty!! (I mean the truck!! ok, you too!!) I gave her the thumbs up!!!

Wow, that almost sounded like the beginning of a great love story. :D
Ridge 07-11-2005, 12:57 PM That's funny!

I'm seeing more and more around here. My wife and I were sitting in our RL in the Costco parking lot (finishing listening to a comedy bit on the XM) and this big burly guy was walking right toward my door. I thought I was going to experience some RL agression. He looked kind of like a full size truck guy that was going to give me the (that ain't a real truck routine), but he went on and on about what a great looking truck it was, and was even more blown away when he and his wife saw the trunk. sometimes it's a little nerve racking driving the RL. ;)
.........hope you guys liked the Chinese buffet. Nine times out of ten, people don't get violently ill from eating there. :D
SSquire 07-11-2005, 01:18 PM Wow, that almost sounded like the beginning of a great love story. :D
It still could turn out to be... "They met at the ROC..." ;)
Or was LadyRidge out for a loooong ride? LOL
arteegee 07-11-2005, 01:28 PM Till wifey finds out and extinguishes that spark.
12VoltRidgeline 07-16-2005, 12:23 PM I was driving back from my shop around 10 or so this morning, and I saw a green Ridge. I think we were right about at Shaw Ave. and the 41 freeway. Not sure if they were local, maybe it was an ROC member. Let me know if it was you, by the way, Green looks very nice. I opted for a black RTS. Well, have a nice day everyone!
Truckin' 07-16-2005, 09:22 PM Isn't it fun? I'm constantly on the lookout. Our dealer's lot seems cleaned out of RLs, but I guess they could have traded them out of town. I keep expecting to see more around.
marko17 07-17-2005, 10:48 AM i took a ride to delaware yesterday with a friend who was looking at a boat for sale...most of the 165 mile trip was the entire length of the new jersey turnpike..on the way down i kept checking for ridgeline sightings...not a one....we got to delaware, checked out the boat,,,took a ride in it,(he bought it), and came back home...checked for sightings the whole way back...not a one...we got all the way back to new york and he had to stop at a pool supply store in brooklyn for some pool stuff...it was in an industrial area of brooklyn and it being saturday, it was like a ghost town...we get out of the pool store, get in his car, and what passes in front of us ? a white ridgeline with every conceivable exterior accessory and fancy chrome wheels to boot..........go figure...
NJDevil5 07-27-2005, 10:32 AM As many have posted, sightings of Ridgelines are starting to appear. While I've only seen 2 others to-date in my area, yesterday made the third. Sitting at traffic light and facing the opposite direction was a beautiful Redrock. My kids screamed to point it out! As the light changed we both proceed and without hesitation, gave each other "the nod". What a great feeling! :)

Why all the new threads for stuff thats already being discussed?
shovelhd 07-27-2005, 01:09 PM Reasons why there are at least a half dozen threads for each topic discussed here:
1) New forum members don't understand the difference between a new thread and a reply.
2) Forum members think their new thread deserves one of their own.
3) Forum members expect the moderators to combine duplicate threads (like they don't have a life).
4) Forum members are too lazy to use the search function to find an existing thread.
5) There are so many duplicate threads that the search function returns too many unranked results to reasonably go through, so posting a new thread is easier. People expect Google functionality. It's not there. So they create a self-perpetuating problem.
6) There are forum members that don't use the "New Posts" functionality, so they don't see which threads are consistently active.
My take is that it's all of the above.
FWIW. :)
SSquire 07-27-2005, 01:33 PM Most vehicle-related boards I've seen have a seperate "Sightings" topic so a new thread can be posted with a title of the place, date, color or some other identifier to help figure out if we're seeing each other or possible new 'recruits'.
maybearidge 07-27-2005, 02:40 PM In general, people take the easiest route. So does water, and so does electricity....it's physics :)
NJDevil5 07-27-2005, 02:55 PM Folks:
My bad. I wanted to share my excitement with the group and when I viewed the message board thought a topic like this might fit in this category. As a newer member, I do use the search and New posts area but do have more to learn obviously.

Water and electricity have no intelligence, zen master.
06RTLNAVBlue 07-27-2005, 03:47 PM Yeahhhhh, I wish everyone would make a better effort to use an existing post. It sure would make it easier when searching for info!
Use an existing post or be banned!!! :D
shovelhd 07-27-2005, 04:13 PM Banning is censorship, and I abhor censorship.
Public flogging is greatly preferred.
captmiddy 07-27-2005, 05:04 PM What difference does it make? It isn't like this is a lost part of a discussion.
Okay. I used the search function and tried to find all of the 'sighting' threads. I have merged them all into one gigantic thread and renamed it 'Official Ridgeline Sightings Thread.' I chose the thread started by AHart because chronologically it was the first thread.
Damn, I need to get a life!! :D
Tex's Ridge 07-28-2005, 05:16 AM Zero, you're doing as all a great favor by keeping this forum nice and neat. One of the reasons I don't like about the "other" forum is clutter! And their PPA! I have a feeling that your real job has something to do with I.T. Thanks again for a JWD! :)

Toobuku 07-28-2005, 01:39 PM I saw an RL on the road today for the first time. Pictures don't do this vehicle justice, you need to see it in action. For those of us who don't yet have theirs, just seeing one on the road is exciting! Anybody else seeing them out there other than what you are driving??
Since I brought mine home July 1st, I have only seen 2 on the road. One was pacing me to the right rear on the 405 fwy. They were checking out my truck. The other N/B 101 toward Downtown last Friday.
shovelhd 07-28-2005, 07:33 PM That makes three of you then. :D
:p :p :p
Yooper 07-29-2005, 01:06 AM I've seen a few Ridges around Eagle River Alaska. Red, green, silver all were plain. Yesterday I saw a blue one with a roof rack and moonroof in a parking lot. What a beauty. I really like the roof rack. It really sets off the roofline.
meanmachine19 07-29-2005, 11:53 AM I've been seeing a few here in the central/northern AZ area and met an owner yesterday (silver). She is from Sedona, where we are planning our AZ meet on 8/21. She also told me she knows the guy who has the white one, also in Sedona.
I gave her one of the ROC brochures and told her we would be meeting. Hopefully she and her husband, as well as her friend, will join.
Now I've also sighted a blue one with roof rack in the area 2x in the past 2 weeks, still working on meeting up with him. And I already met another RL owner (green), also from the Sedona area. So we are having quite a few in the area and I expect them to be a regular occurrence.
In all, I've probably had 10-12 different sightings of RL's - many because I work in a tourist area so I have seen some from other states.
And best of all, I enjoy seeing and meeting owners to talk about our common interest!
arteegee 07-29-2005, 12:40 PM Silver today, black yesterday. They got to see a blue. ;)
MsRidgeline 07-29-2005, 03:32 PM Double Siting!!!!!!! On the commute home today, saw a silver leave the AF Base when I was sitting at the light. Then, about 15 miles later . . . . . another silver! Alas, I'm always in the Acura :(
shovelhd 07-29-2005, 06:43 PM A gorgeous white RTL pulled up behind me in the left turn lane on the way home from work. This is a new sighting for me. It had running boards, roof rack, and chrome 5-spoke twenties. He must have been checking mine out because as soon as I noticed him, I waved, and he waved right back.
5S Dude 07-29-2005, 09:10 PM 3 weeks into ownership and have not seen a single one in the wild since I first saw a black Ridgeline in the Honda pits during the Supercross opener! Maybe I should camp out in duck blind or something!!! :D
arteegee 07-29-2005, 09:30 PM We saw a black sans rack parked at a shopping center this evening. Holy crap...it's an infestation.
captmiddy 07-29-2005, 09:56 PM This week I have seen 3 different Ridgelines in Waltham alone.
Monday evening another Red Ridgeline at Papa Ginos
Tuesday a Silver Ridgeline on Lake Street in the morning
Today a Blue Ridgeline at Friendly's
Outside of Waltham I have seen a black Ridgeline a couple times on Route 2. Suddenly they seem to be everywhere ;)
I have seen a black Ridgeline in my area several times in the past few days. I think it is the same vehicle each time because it always has the same accessories.
I also saw another GREEN one parked at Walmart the other day.
Gretchen 07-30-2005, 07:14 AM I have seen several in the last month or so. Before we picked ours up, we went to a fourth of July parade. The local Honda dealership donated cars to carry the Grand Marshall, ect... The first vehicle was the S2000, then a black RL! It had a roof rack, running boards, chrome - so beautiful. I yelled and clapped.
My first one in the wild was a silver one racing down the highway. There is a silver one in a small town that I see on the way to visit my mom. The other day it had a boat hooked up to it ready to go.
On our way to our first test drive, we passed a black one. The driver probably saw a woman in a CR-V pointing wildly with her mouth agape, while her husband tried to keep the car on the road.
About a week ago I saw two in one day. (This is amazing because we are in GM country - in the back yard of the Lordstown plant) I saw a beautiful red one with a roof rack on Route 11. When I pulled into the YMCA there was a woman parking her silver one. Of course, I was in my CR-V - ugh! I ran up to her and we chatted for a while.
Yesterday I was coming back from a trip to Canton and passed a blue one just like ours! Turns out it was hubby!
Long Gone 07-31-2005, 07:18 PM I saw these as I came home from the Mall yesterday. It was parked in a hotel parking lot and I had to snap a pic.
I also added a few pics of Ridgena with her Bad A$$ decal.
:D
Kellcut 07-31-2005, 07:29 PM Saw a silver one today, only accessory I could tell for sure was a bed extender. It was turning left and I was going straight by it.
denvrfan 07-31-2005, 07:37 PM My tally of 1st time viewings grew to 8 this weekend. Saw 2 in the Glen Allen, VA area. On Thursday night, got a close look at a silver RTL (no sunroof) with the gray step boards but no other obvious accessories parked outside the Capitol Ale House. No discernable dealer idenfication. Could have really used one those ROC business cards discussed here in the past. Then on Saturday, less than a mile from the Ale House, saw a black Ridgeline on West Broad St. Although I'm ALWAYS looking for them, this sighting caught me by surprise and I passed it too quickly to take a good look. I did notice that it was purchased at Colonial Honda in Petersburg. The worst part about this sighting was that we were driving my wife's Accord instead of my Ridge :(
So the big question is: ARE YOU GUYS/GALS OUT THERE? Identify yourself if you're a member. :)
SSquire 07-31-2005, 08:24 PM I was sitting at a light waiting to turn onto the main street outside of my neighborhood. When the van in front of me went right, I got a clear view of the silver ridgeline that had been sitting in front of him! I followed him all the way downtown and oulled up in front of him as he backed into a space (I think going to church). I rolled down the window and shouted, "Nice truck!" Turns out he lives about .5 miles away from me, I told him all about the site, so hopefully another new member soon.
How many other Ridges have you seen on the road?
I saw another silver the day I got mine (Jul 12), a red one when on vacation in L.A., and another silver two cars in front of me at a light the other day. (Too many silver already! I knew I should have gotten black! :( )
And speaking of sightings, you all may get a chance to see mine in an upcoming tire company commercial in a couple months. A friend of mine is producing/directing it and wanted to get some good footage of some new vehicles playing around in the Bonneville Salt Flats, so we took mine out and shot about 30 minutes of video of me playing around in my new truck. :) The other vehicle was a Hummer H3 (which, by the way, is nowhere near as powerful, fast, or agile as the RL).
Okay. I moved this one to Miscellaneous and merged into it yet another 'sightings' thread.
Tex's Ridge 08-05-2005, 05:08 AM Saw my first sighting of a BLACK RIDGELINE yesterday evening. It was making a left turn from Adams to S. Main in Manchester, CT.
Then at the HOPS restaurant, in Buckland Hills, a young lady working there ask me how I liked my RL, she said her parents in Florida owns a Black. Hey parents, you've got a lovely and nice daughter!! :)
maybearidge 08-05-2005, 12:31 PM Saw a Redrock with side steps in Jersey City NJ yesterday. I almost caught him/her before they turned. It's nice to see how they look on the road from a different perspective
ridgeln 08-06-2005, 06:08 PM I've seen so many Ridgelines I've quit counting! Of course, many of them I've probably seen multiple times w/ different people driving - I live about 4 miles from a Honda Dealership and in Honda of America Country (Marysville, OH). There are lots of Honda's driving around w/ manufacturing plates on them - including RL's.
The sales people seem to encourage people on the weekends to drive on my road - and I always see them peering at my Silver RL in the driveway as they drive by.

25 Year Honda Owner 08-06-2005, 07:12 PM I have had my Ridgeline for 2 months and shopped for one since opening day! I have yet to sight a Ridgeline on the road. I get a lot of stares so apparently no one else in my part of the woods is sighting Ridglines either. I have over 2K miles and several of those miles on the interstate in middle and East Tennessee. Going to LA (Lower Alabama) in 2 weeks and maybe will see a few. Love my Honda's!
Yooper 08-07-2005, 10:08 AM I was driving my company truck and noticed I was following a red Ridge. I followed it down several streets and when they stopped to get their mail I stopped and gave them the thumbs up. Luckily the driver rolled down the window and I got out to chat. I asked them how they liked their truck. They had only owned it about a week so they were still high on it. No problems yet. I told them about the ROC website and gave them one of the " ROC brochures" I had printed out. They were excited about checking it out.
I am excited about the truck and I don't even have one yet. :p
SSquire 08-08-2005, 09:39 AM Another sighting. I was sitting at a light on my bike and a familiar-looking grille appeared in my mirror. I turned around and it could have been my RL's twin! Red with the "brush bar" and roofrack (that was as much as I could tell about accessories from my vantage point. I pointed at the truck and gave a thumbs up, then pointed at myself and held up 2 fingers (me too). Don't know how clear the message was :)
shingles 08-08-2005, 11:11 AM Katy/Houston TX.
It was around 2:45PM Sunday 8/7 on Fry Road about 1 block north of I-10. Saw a Blue RTL. I was in my RTL with a trailer in the back. Went to pick up some used washer and dryer I had just purchased. I am not sure if they saw me or not.
Rocker 08-08-2005, 11:23 AM Saw a green one yesterday with roof rack and bikes on the back. We were driving towards each other with no cars around. Stuck my arm out the window for big wave. Nothing. Must not be a member of the ROC.
06bluridge 08-08-2005, 02:46 PM The first Ridgeline I saw (white) was while visiting in California around April. Since then, in Las Vegas, I have seen three blue ones like mine, a red one, a silver one, a green one yesterday, and one white one. I guess blue rules.
Grok Lobster 08-08-2005, 03:25 PM I had my first head-on pass on surface streets last week. I think it might have just been picked up from the dealer because the driver's smile :D was touching both ears!
kazak 08-08-2005, 04:20 PM I picked up my Blue RTL on Friday night. I've learned a great deal from all of you (thank you!). Sighting....Sunday at Concord mall in Northern Delaware, I parked as close as possible to a silver RL. A guy came out and was admiring the silver. His mouth dropped open when he saw another RL parked 20 feet away! Two in one place is still a novelty! I've seen a couple of others with some regularity in Philadelphia and the burbs.
Toobuku 08-09-2005, 09:16 PM I finally saw a Ridgeline in my home town last weekend. I was shocked. Didn't see the owner nor could I wait around for them. I will try and catch them another time. His truck was stock, that was cool they still have a Ridge!
maybearidge 08-10-2005, 10:36 AM so we have not had any "hey you saw me" sightings yet?? amazing
RidgeMe 08-10-2005, 12:47 PM I had my first head-on pass on surface streets last week. I think it might have just been picked up from the dealer because the driver's smile :D was touching both ears!
Grok Loster you got great eyesight to see all the way from California to Wisconsin :D
3SuperSports 08-10-2005, 01:54 PM I've seen a white RT at a place I eat lunch about once a week. Then at a place yesterday I went for a second interview, there was a red one in the lot and turned out to be one of the employees there had just bought it. I seldom see one on the highway, maybe twice in the last month or so.
Toobuku 08-11-2005, 11:18 AM I saw these as I came home from the Mall yesterday. It was parked in a hotel parking lot and I had to snap a pic.
I also added a few pics of Ridgena with her Bad A$$ decal.
:D
I finally saw your truck. Waycool decal!
arteegee 08-12-2005, 11:54 PM Our town is infested. Saw a white one Thursday, a blue and a silver Friday. :p
Long Gone 08-12-2005, 11:58 PM I finally saw your truck. Waycool decal!

bigtars@hotmail.com 08-13-2005, 03:52 PM Saw 3 in Michigan City,Indiana yesterday. Red one at KFC-White one at Wal-Mart-Silver one at a bank. All within 20 minutes!!! 30 minutes later saw a black one in Gary,Indiana!!! My neck hurts.
Empyrean 08-13-2005, 04:31 PM I saw a black one in the parking lot of National Wholesale Liquidators in Linden, New Jersey.
25 Year Honda Owner 08-15-2005, 05:29 PM After all these months, I saw my first Ridgeline in Sam's parking lot in Murfreesboro, TN this past Firday. Beginning to think I was the only one that owned one. Going to LA (Lower Alabama) this weekend for a little R&R on the beach. Hope to see some more on the road. :)
ridgeln 08-15-2005, 06:07 PM Ok, so I live in the land of the RL designers - was walking out of a local pizza establishment - am unlocking RL - see group of 3 (2 women, 1 male) - one woman pointing out RL - she asks how I like RL - "LOVE IT!" is my enthusiastic reply. "Thanks!" is hers, "I helped design it!"
Dang - if I hadn't been in post-pizza nirvana I would have realized that I had my camera on my phone and could have gotten them to take my pic w/ her w/ the RL!
---
2 other sightings - one (White, RTL, totally tricked out w/ most all accessories) at my son's gymnastics gym, and a red one that drives down my street on a daily basis.

So it IS a girly truck! (once again, I jest :D).
shovelhd 08-15-2005, 08:35 PM Maybe she's the one who designed the Not an Ashtray.
Atta girl :p :)
Redridgerock 08-20-2005, 06:12 PM My son just came home from his job at a local fast food establishment with this "sighting story". Seems a black RL came through the drive up window and my son tells the driver, "Nice truck. My dad has a red one. How do you like it?" The guy proceeds to tell him how he went to the local auto mall where they sell Mercedes, BMW, Cadillac, Porsche, Infiniti, Saab, and Honda. He was going to buy a BMW or Mercedes. After test driving both he sees the Ridge and asks to test drive one. Long story short, he buys the Ridge. Told my son "I love it. It's the best vehicle I've ever owned."
Can't argue with that!
ridgeln 08-20-2005, 06:22 PM Yesterday at 7 AM on I-270 between 33 & Tuttle - red Ridge - no ROC sticker - tried getting beside it, but the other, non-worthy, vehicles got in my way (my one complaint about the RL is that it isn't anywhere as near as intimidating as my Dodge Cummins belching black smoke, when needed, was). No exterior mods, seemed to be a clone of what I was driving.

Long Gone 08-20-2005, 06:51 PM Story #1. Went into total convulsions yesterday. Drove past the hotel where the transport that carries Honda's to be delivered parks all the time and there were 3 SILVER RTL'S ABOARD.
I thought I died and went to Ridgeline heaven.
Story #2. Was hunting for a new location for my business a few miles from my home and pulled into an office building for lease. As I pulled in, a Blue, ( yes Blue - Blu ) was pulling out. I immediatley rolled my window down, as did he, and we conversed for a few moments. In the conversation I told him he should have bought Silver and he promptly told me that if he had he would look just like me. :D ( I guess maybe I should have waited for him to join the ROC to hit him with that one, he probably thought I was nuts )
I invited him to join the ROC.
Life is good in a Ridgeline.
DABRidgeman333 08-21-2005, 08:41 AM Ok, for those that have been following thie thread for a while will remember me rambling about the ONLY other ridge in town, that i continue to see across the street from my work, at a bar no less... *drools all day long*... And that thats the only ridge ive seen on the roads or otherwise in my area.
WELL i finally had another official sighting. And, you can all rag on me, i blew the opportunity! Me and my wife were driving home one night last week. Background story... We have been trying real hard to lay off the junk food and try to get into shape. So were driving home and we pass a great ice cream place in town and what is parked in the parking lot... Another BEA--utifull Redrock Ridge, racks, etc. Almost a clone of my RL. So im driving by and of course rubbernecking out the window while we both went.. "aaaahhhhh". and kept driving. Not only did we not want the ice cream, but i didnt have the ROC brocure with me. So as of today, i am printing up a few and keeping them in the tuck. That wont happen again. BUT it was nice to see another ridge in town. Just in case your out there on the board.... Any ridges happen to be parked at Mac's ice cream last week???
meanmachine19 08-23-2005, 04:05 PM Saw two today within 20 minutes of each other. First one was a blue one in Flagstaff (AZ) - maybe it was Delphi 7x10 or Mentallyabused :p
The other one was north on I-17 south of Flagstaff, and was red.
I don't know if either one saw me. The blue was in a turn lane in town, the red was on divided highway.
Sightings have become a regular thing for me and I love finding more RL's on the road!
