Good explanation of the Ridgeline's underbody, front to rear. According to this, much more power could be freed up once an aftermarket exhaust comes into play!

I do not like the fact that the plastic gas tank is exposed!

Isn't it strange that the exhaust goes under the axle instead of above it? Seems like a weakness if offroading.

I heard him say twice, "There is a significant power left in the the exaust".
He hinted at after market exaust systems coming.

That might have been the only good way to route the exhaust given the independent suspension. Looking at how compact everything is underneath, could you imagine the pain in the butt it would have been to route the pipe up and over the space required for suspension travel if you ever had to replace it?

Should be interesting to see how many aftermarket manufactures produce upgrade "goodies" for the Ridge, especially since it's now Motor Trends truck of the year! I'm thinking a high perf. air intake system and a high perf. cat back exhaust system. Hmmmmm, can't wait 'till summer!
