Hi,
Have any of you with the factory installed hood protector run your Ridge through a car wash?
I was wondering how the blowers that car washes use to dry off vehicles affected the hood protector. We have a nice touchless car wash nearby and I'd like to run Minerva through it, but don't want the hood protector coming off or breaking.
Thank you for your time.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

I have been through the CAR WASH 3 times and I have experienced no problems. The huge air blowers sort of bounce along without really touching the truck when blow-drying.
I did notice last month when I was cleaning the truck that one of the screws was loose and I had to tighten it before the screw fell out of place.
Hope this helps!:)
Thanks, Cajun Country RidgeLine.:) I was concerned the wind would blow the protector right off!

I had one on my F150 that never blew off or broke in 8.5 years. Don't have one on the RL though.
Well, I washed the Ridge today...took it through the touchless car wash and the hood protector did just fine. :)

I've had mine for 6 plus months and run through the wash 2 or more times a week and the driers have blown things outta the rear quarters like a tornado had passed! The honda hood protector stays put! I've had one on every truck since around 1990 and this is the toughest I have had!

Always use the local automatic "touch-less" car was here and so far ... no problems but I have wondered about my moonroof deflector ( watched the dryer as it passes overhead). It flexes a bit but no problems there either! ;)

Been through the touchless car wash too many times to count...no problems with hood deflector or wind deflector in front on moon roof!
Yeah, it worked out great...and it's nice to have a clean truck!
