Had the rear view camera installed, and am generally happy with it. Manual refers to "guidelines" - any idea what that means? Manual also says to adjust camera so that a portion of the bumper is in the picture - but doesn't give any directions on how to do that. Can the experts out there help with this one?

If you take the screw out that hold the black plastic cover on, you'll see that the camera mount is adjustable. Aim it far enough down so that you can just barely see your rear bumper at the bottom of the screen. This is so you have a point of reference in the picture. If not, backing up will be EXTREMELY difficult because distance is very distorted and hard to judge on the screen. You've seen the "objects in mirror are closer than they appear" stickers on mirrors right? Well, the backup cam takes this to new extremes.

Your installer probably adjusted this for you. We have been happily using our camera for eight months without knowing there were guidelines or adjustments.

Thanks, guys - sounds like I need a minor adjustment to see the bumper in the camera view - I'll give it a shot and back to the dealer if I can't get it just right.
Of course, adjusting the camera while the truck is in reverse may be tricky:)
