Honda,

How about a nice Sandstone (Gold) Metalic. Do one in Gold and I am all yours for 07. A verrrrrry long time Honda customer awaits his favorite color for a truck!

He's just trying to push our buttons. I would categorize his efforts as pathetically amusing. I actually feel sorry for him.

It's actually pretty amazing to see all the recalls on Ford trucks, gas tanks rupturing, cruise control starting fires, etc. Yeah, sounds great.

This is the only comment I'm making because this little weasel is only here trying to get us all riled up. All he's really trying to do is make up for his own inadequecies - both in his vehicle choice and probably his "physical" attributes as well. If we all ignore his posts, he'll cry himself to sleep realizing no one loves him and ladyridge or t-mac will shut him down soon enough.

I don't believe this is the thread that Ridgeline Suck wants to be posting on...it's about suggestion for new colors. Not the issue of the vehicle. IMO I believe this is a fake (troll?)...someone that has a ridge, but wants to take the latest thread (aka SportTrac) and make an issue about nothing. Just so the members of the forum wound up. Well...I will go as far and agree with iRoc & SmokyMtnRidger....Merry Christmas, Happy New Years and enjoy your ride.... I'll ignore your comments.

I own a Ford F150.
I used to have an F150. Can't say anything bad about it; however, it did have the cruise control known for catching fires. Ford never did recall it while I owned it (8.5 years).

I owned a 2001 F150 that blew a head gasket with only 5500 miles on it. Needless to say I got rid of it right after that.

I had 115k on mine when I traded it. Truck did well until I had the plugs changed at 100k, then seemed like everything started messing up. Never had anything major wrong with it though.

By the way, our Accord has a new color for this year, Carbon Bronze Pearl...... I would Love to see that on a Ridgeline. It is a gray color with flecks of other colors, we really like it. I would like to see a gray, and a sand or goldish color and a different green and a royal blue on a Ridgeline.

I would love to see a gold like color for the Ridgeline. The carbon bronze pearl looks very interesting as well. A Pewter may be nice as well.

I would like to see a black leather interior for the blue RL. I think it would look a little classier than the grey.

I've seen the gold on the Van and maybe a Pilot. I could really dig on a Gold color if not it will be white.:D

I recently saw the Carbon Bronze Pearl on a new Accord in the dealers showroom while I was getting my Ridge serviced. I really do like it. My 05Accord is dark gray and I am pleased with it.

I haven't yet bought a RL, I came to this site to see what it's all about, and do homework. Color is really my only real complaint about the '06, and aside from the moolah, color is one of the only reasons I have not marched down there and signed the papers. Please no one take offense to my comments, but I find the available factory colors to be boring. I can see where Honda stylists made conservative decisions about how to paint the truck to appeal to the largest possible group of people by simply choosing colors that would be the least offensive and illicit the least reaction - positive or negative. If I don't buy an '06, I hope Honda comes out with a Dark Metallic Blue like a "Patriot" blue, something like Toyota has on the Tacoma, or a charcoal grey metallic like Chevy has on the Trailblazer. I would not be offended at all by a rich, deep, Fire Engine Red. The current red looks like trendy lipstick with a "pinkish sheen" Hard to describe, easy to wish gone. If you have these colors and love them, all the best to you and congratulations on owning what can only be described as a most versatile and well engineered automobile. The forward thinking that went into this truck is deserving of a little more bravado than Honda gave it with the 5 bland-ish colors. I said 5 because the green is OK and when I finally buy one it probably will be green.

I'm sure somebody out there wants a "fly" yellow Ridgeline with black accessories.

A salesman at Rockingham Honda (where I did not buy my Ridgeline) Told me this is the last year for the Redrock Pearl, Which is the color I chose. Does anyone know if this is true?

I own a Ford F150.

Why did we ban this user? I owned a Ford F150 and it's was a nice truck until it starts wearing out. Then it's difficult keeping up with the repairs and Ford was useless in diagnosing them.

I say we let him back in, his time will come.

I believe he was banned because he was a troll, not because he drove a F-150. If that were the case there would be a lot of banned users. :)

Cadillac has a kind of pearly off-white color I like. I think they call it white diamond. I had it on an Eldorado and you see a lot of Escalades painted with it. Good about not showing dirt. Looked great with a tan interior.

Not that Honda will be offering this color any time soon but....

Last week I was driving past a local pub and there was a RL sitting in the parking lot. As I drove by, something about it stuck in my mind as being odd, so I made a quick (and legal... :) ..) U-turn, and pulled into the parking lot to get a closer look. What had caught my eye.....The owner of the RL had taken a silver RL (I know it was a silver RL because the seats were gray) and painted the top section black and then the black "faded" to silver as you got down toward the bottom of the truck. The paint job was flawless and looked like a professional had done it.

Wow, talk about friggin' sharp! If I would have had more time, I would have went in and found the person who owned it, and asked him where he got his paint job done....because it was really cool looking. I think one of these days I am gonna be my silver RL done like that.
