interior paint for Double DIN install

I'm getting ready to install an Eclipse avn5495 into the dash with the AI install kit but before i install it I would like for it to match the dash color ..anyone done this yet ... i did a search and found nothing except for someone saying they already did it but didn't say how to do it ..

I'm in the process of painting the AI piece. I just glued the two pieces together, filled it with liquid plastic and icing, and sanded it. I will proceed to prime it, texture paint it, and finally put on the vinyl dye.
