Read all I could find thru this Ridgeline Owners Club forum and fumotovalve.com site ... liked what I seen so I'm going to give in a try. Ordered the Fumoto F-106N (with nipple) and the adapter, ADL-106 this morning and hope it makes it in because I'll probably be due an oil change early next week. It does look rather interesting and easy for self-service ...time will tell.
Also will be turning this oil change sample in for an analysis thru Blackstone Laboratories and will post the results here as soon as I receive them for those interested. ;)

I have the fomoto ready to go (I am at 20% on my oil life monitor with the factory fill). When it hits 15% and I get the service due notice I will change oil (and filter) with Havoline 5w20 and either a Filtech or Nippon filter, since I have both. I look forward to your second used oil analysis so please post the details once it is in. BTW, what oil did you use?

Hello ShortSpark! I've been using Mobil 1 full synthetic 5 W 20 oil with a Mobil 1 M 1 -110 oil filter since my first oil change. I have done all of my own service so far (coming up on the third service probably next week or weekend). My Fumoto valve came in this afternoon but it wasn't the type that I ordered. Called the company and they said will send the "right one" out by overnight courrier today ... should have it at the lastest by next Tuesday with the upcoming weekend and holiday. Just want it when I change oil this time! ;)

I haven't crawled underneath to look, will it affect ground clearance at all? I'd hate to have that part get knocked off!

There are a bunch of us on the EOC running the Fumoto Valve without any issues. It doesn't affect ground clearance unless the drain plug is literally on the bottom of the oil drain pan.
