Has anybody found/installed aftermarket tiedown hooks that can be mounted to the top of the bed rails?
I am looking to tie down some items on top of my Tonneau cover and don't believe the two tie downs in the front of the bed will be sufficient (the other four tie downs are under the cover).

One ROC member lists an above-bed, custom bike rack as one of his options. And he has a picture next to his 'name' that shows a bike rack that looks like it's mounted on the bed siderails.
Is it? I don't know, I can't remember his 'name' either.
Isn't that unhelpful?

Hey, Adrian, welcome to the ROC!
The rack that I made fits inside the bed and would not work with the tonneau cover. It would allow the use of a car-top cargo box above the bed for lockable storage, though. I was talking with the Mrs. today about that being a less expensive alternative to a camper shell / cap.
Welcome, again, enjoy the ride, and ROC on!
After careful examination of the obvious trickness of this bike rack you have created. I suggest you blueprint the thing and pay some overseas manufacturing facility to mass produce it before they can take photos of it and do it themselves. Very nicely done AIBIKR.:p

Thanks for the welcome, AIBKR.
As an additional idea: on the upper-middle of the bed sidewalls, there's a Torx screw recessed into the wall. (It gets a coverplate when you put in the Retrax tonneau cover!).
Couldn't you put in one of those low-rise contractor "ladder-holder" things, fastened to that that screw hole? I was thinking about an arch-type truck rack - where the leg rests on a short horizontal bar resting in the side rails, that is then connected to a plate that's screwed into that upper-side bed screwhole.
Just an idea for you to look at additional ways to carry your bikes.
