My head is spinning so to make this easy will speakers with a depth of 2 3/16" fit the Ridgelines panels. In other words will I be able to install using the factory door cover and all... I have a chance at some Morel Dotech MKII's
with Neo tweeters and MX-20 crossovers, the speakers are rated to 300 but only have a 90Db rating, thanks............

shouldn't be a problem. As a comparison, Polk's MMC6500 fits which have a depth of 2 1/2" You will need a 1" spacer though. There's actually a whole lot of room in the door depth-wise. The problem is the size of the opening is too small for the shape of most baskets. That why you'll need the spacer.

The only fit problem you may have is the slope your basket. I don't know the MKII's in particular, but would think you've got a pretty bulky woofer there. Might be calling for a bit of dremel work.

BTW, hope you're planning on a new head unit or an amp for those speakers. The Ridgeline head unit won't do any justice. Although, getting rid of those factory speakers is a good move either way.

Well I don't plan on changing the HU just trying for a bit more response and the price is good. The tweeter is a seperate component so I'm planning to fiddle with where it sits in the Ridgeline until I'm satisfied. Just the front speakers for now since my Weimaraner is the main passenger of the rear. Thanks for the input........

I totally missed your stating amp, I plan on an amp down the road after I decide what subwoofer will take the place of the OEM one, if you have any suggestions I'd be happy to listen!

Well I pulled the trigger on a pair of Morel MK II's and a Phoenix Gold Octane amp with wiring connector pack now I have to figure what subwoofer will replace the OEM one and how....
