Storage hole door ...Nicholas 01-07-2006, 09:57 AM Has anyone heard anything more about a door to cover the storage shelf over the glovebox ??? Just wondering ... Thanks ! ProHonda 01-07-2006, 10:39 AM Have you seen this, it the only thing I found so far: This dash plate is designed to cover the open area within the Ridgeline's dashboard. It is covered in the OEM color of the Interior of your truck or you can pick Black. It has a single action hinge located in the center with a spring loaded magnet lock. It is attached to the dash by double sided tape and screws. Standard embroidery will be (RIDGELINE) with twotone color. (outside color is the silver match of the Ridgelines knobs)(Inside is the OEM color match). http://basickoncepts.com/catalog/images/d%20plate.jpg http://basickoncepts.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=24&products_id=28 DCOKER 01-07-2006, 10:43 AM Has anyone ordered this, taken delivery and installed yet? Truckin' 01-07-2006, 08:49 PM Now that Christmas is passed I can say that I've got it on order. I have no idea when it will be delivered. I'm willing to be patient. I don't have an urgent need for this accessory, I just want it. Here's the link to the website to order yours: http://basickoncepts.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=28 Brian called me right before Christmas to clarify the paypal charge. It appeared there was something wrong with it but it was just a mistake. He was so pleasant, courteous, and enthusiastic. I didn't ask any questions or say much because BIGGUY was right there cooking dinner and I was still trying to keep it a suprise, even if it's a promisary note. I ordered black and Brian said he thought the black looks especially sharp. Here's the thread that let us know this product is available. Oddjob 01-07-2006, 10:36 PM PLEASE post some pics of it when it is installed in a Blue RL... THANKS:) Truckin' 01-07-2006, 11:10 PM It's obvious you don't know me very well yet. Pictures? Not a chance. OK, I'm being flippant. Just be careful what you ask for. You might get it around here. jaiden 01-08-2006, 10:05 AM I'd check with LadyRidge, I think she's got one (or similar) on the way. BannedUser 01-08-2006, 10:08 AM Yes..I ordered one also. I am looking for it any day. I will give detailed installation pictures and final photos when we have it completed. Stay tuned. :) meanmachine19 01-08-2006, 10:41 AM They look great! I usually keep my air freshener there, but could always find another spot for it! ridgeln 01-08-2006, 12:44 PM LOL ok, so maybe I'm not all that observant - but when did LadyRidge get the PROPER signature under her name, next to "Moderator?" Way cool - and totally appropriate! -ridgeln NC Blue 01-08-2006, 12:48 PM I ordered one along with the Dress Bars. I'm kind of bummed as I placed the order December 1, 2005 and haven't received either yet. Truckin' 01-08-2006, 01:03 PM Give Brian a call. I'm sure he'd give you an update. I'm guessing we've swamped him with our orders and production isn't going as smoothly as he would hope. He said something to me about getting the black ones back and that they looked good. Maybe he's sending out for the embroidery or waiting on hinges. I know it's hard to be patient, but when someone like Brian or 5S Dude is willing to devote time and energy to make us custom products for our new trucks, I appreciate that. LadyRidge, you and I are in a race for who gets and installs first. Maybe NC Blue is going to beat both of us. Whoever receives this product, be sure to post to let us know they are beginning to arrive. Truckin' 01-08-2006, 11:27 PM Nicholas, I stumbled onto another option tonight when looking at the door sill thread. I didn't realize 5S Dude is working on a dash plate/cubby hole cover too. I knew he makes awesome door sills. Take a look at them too. Here's the link to specific post that mentions the cubby cover that's coming: http://www.ridgelineownersclub.com/forums/showpost.php?p=47432&postcount=84 Here's a link to the entire door sill thread: http://www.ridgelineownersclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2226 BannedUser 01-08-2006, 11:39 PM I ordered mine on November 30. I will call Brian tomorrow and see how things are going and make sure he knows everyone is anxious to the storage hole cover installed.:) I'll keep you posted. WhiteRTLnav 01-09-2006, 01:33 AM I think that cover is really cool. but call me crazy, I personally think that the open area on the passenger side makes the dash look smaller, and therefore, sportier. I think it has to do with the fact that the indent breaks up the dash, and all your mind visually sees is the upper part of the dash with the vents. I guess it's the art freak in me... LOL!!! BannedUser 01-09-2006, 11:15 AM I think it's a woman thing. We always want to cover things up that may tend to be unsightly!! For example: Face with make-up, stove with burner covers, RidgeLine cubby's with RidgeLine cubby covers, men with a bag...you get the idea!! ;) :D Nicholas 01-10-2006, 12:14 PM Pappa's got a brand new bag....;) Truckin' 01-10-2006, 12:29 PM LadyRidge, did you call Brian? BannedUser 01-10-2006, 12:34 PM Pappa's got a brand new bag....;) NICHOLAS!! BE nice. LOL :D Just an FYI!!! I spoke to Brian last night and the poor guy is working his fingers raw trying to make everyone happy. Hang in their folks. Great stuff is on the way. :) Webwader 01-10-2006, 12:35 PM men with a bag    5S Dude 01-10-2006, 09:33 PM Men like Brian and I with bags under our eyes!! BannedUser 01-11-2006, 06:58 AM I received email confirmation that my cover has been shipped. The next post I share on this subject will be pictures of the installation. Thanks for your hard work Brian. Good things DO come to those who wait. :) fishnbanjo 01-11-2006, 07:15 AM 3500th posting! ;) LOL ok, so maybe I'm not all that observant - but when did LadyRidge get the PROPER signature under her name, next to "Moderator?"
