Storage hole door ...

Has anyone heard anything more about a door to cover the storage shelf over the glovebox ??? Just wondering ... Thanks ! :confused:

Have you seen this, it the only thing I found so far:

This dash plate is designed to cover the open area within the Ridgeline's dashboard. It is covered in the OEM color of the Interior of your truck or you can pick Black. It has a single action hinge located in the center with a spring loaded magnet lock. It is attached to the dash by double sided tape and screws. Standard embroidery will be (RIDGELINE) with twotone color. (outside color is the silver match of the Ridgelines knobs)(Inside is the OEM color match).

Has anyone ordered this, taken delivery and installed yet?

Now that Christmas is passed I can say that I've got it on order. I have no idea when it will be delivered. I'm willing to be patient. I don't have an urgent need for this accessory, I just want it.

Brian called me right before Christmas to clarify the paypal charge. It appeared there was something wrong with it but it was just a mistake. He was so pleasant, courteous, and enthusiastic. I didn't ask any questions or say much because BIGGUY was right there cooking dinner and I was still trying to keep it a suprise, even if it's a promisary note.

I ordered black and Brian said he thought the black looks especially sharp.

I ordered one along with the Dress Bars. I'm kind of bummed as I placed the order December 1, 2005 and haven't received either yet.

Give Brian a call. I'm sure he'd give you an update. I'm guessing we've swamped him with our orders and production isn't going as smoothly as he would hope.

He said something to me about getting the black ones back and that they looked good. Maybe he's sending out for the embroidery or waiting on hinges.

I know it's hard to be patient, but when someone like Brian or 5S Dude is willing to devote time and energy to make us custom products for our new trucks, I appreciate that.

LadyRidge, you and I are in a race for who gets and installs first. Maybe NC Blue is going to beat both of us. Whoever receives this product, be sure to post to let us know they are beginning to arrive.

Nicholas, I stumbled onto another option tonight when looking at the door sill thread. I didn't realize 5S Dude is working on a dash plate/cubby hole cover too. I knew he makes awesome door sills. Take a look at them too.

I ordered mine on November 30. I will call Brian tomorrow and see how things are going and make sure he knows everyone is anxious to the storage hole cover installed.:)

I think that cover is really cool. but call me crazy, I personally think that the open area on the passenger side makes the dash look smaller, and therefore, sportier. I think it has to do with the fact that the indent breaks up the dash, and all your mind visually sees is the upper part of the dash with the vents. I guess it's the art freak in me... LOL!!!

I think it's a woman thing. We always want to cover things up that may tend to be unsightly!!

For example: Face with make-up, stove with burner covers, RidgeLine cubby's with RidgeLine cubby covers, men with a bag...you get the idea!! ;)
