Once agian, sorry this took so long.. the system they put in is pretty basic but the sub in the center is kinda cool. And all the graphics and color on the car is vinyl, the original car was silver. Enjoy. here are a couple more pics

It was a very well rounded system, pretty nice daily driver. Its a 10in in a sealed box but its definetly better thant the stock sub. I have 2 8L7's under my back seat and im tempted to copy their install to add some midbass. I dont really know why alpine had the car there they didnt really do anything special to it. But it is a ridgeline.. reason enough i guess :) . Heres a pic of the other car they had there as a comparison, it WAS a bmw 6 series...

I can understand why there aren't many people standing around this Ridgeline. It's downright ugly!!!!!!!!!

Wow, major disappointment. That's from Alpine? Most of their show cars are over the top, but this is just odd.

The deck install is not up to par. Alpine usually get the best in install.

Interesting, the height of the centre channel speaker is.

Don't get me wrong, it is not a bad install, but for Alpine it is not acceptable. Better than anything I can do, but then again, I don't install stereo for a living.

The door install looks solid. The tweeter pod is average. Amps behind the seats? I guess it's better than on the floor below the rear seats -- where they may get wet. I'm surprised they didn't use the trunk area for amps. I'm not familiar with the deck, but I don't think it is their best.

Perhaps this is one of those "anyone can have this system" type of install.

So nobody got to hear the system?

BTW, beast644, thanks for the pics. Must have been hard to peel yourself away from all the other eye candy at the show to take these shots.

Buddy, looks like they all like you a lot. The first one there. I would get slapped at trying to see what was at the end of her necklace. Girls who wear t-shirts with writing on 'em and you're trying to read what it says.... slap! or worse yet the sweat pants with the letters -- you look -- then people think you're a perv or something.

Every time I walk in the malls, I swear women cover up. My buddy tells me I've gotta work on the look but don't look like you're looking look....... Perv 101.

Edit: thanks for the pics!

I agree this was a pretty weak showing for the guys that have won Best Car of Show since they started the award. I checked their website and there was no mention of the RL there either.

Mugen I think your Tweeter mounts are better than the Alpine ones.

That's because it's the one thing I didn't do myself. It was done by Tim Baillie, who is a world-class installer. You see some of his work at SEMA. I love it because his shop is like minutes from where I live.

Sounds like you've got a keeper! ;)

About the Alpine truck... It seems like they should have been able to really jazz up their own OEM Nav system somehow...
