EzRider 01-11-2006, 02:09 PM Two weeks ago, I installed the Burtman billet grill. It's a well made piece and easily bolts into place. However, the white vertical cross member in the grill cavity became very apparent.
Today I finally painted this piece flat black and decided to place the Honda logo behind the grill for a understated effect.
It hard to see, but there is a white bug deflector on the hood.
ridged 01-11-2006, 02:14 PM Nice!

Did you order the white deflector or paint it?

The deflector came white, I got it from-- http://www.realtruck.com/productline/849/1101/1/auto_ventshade_hood_shield_bug_deflector_designer_ colors.html
Webwader 01-11-2006, 02:30 PM www.realtruck.com (http://www.realtruck.com) is selling accessories for Ridgelines? Does that mean what I think it means? The Ridgeline is a "real truck"? :D
ridged 01-11-2006, 02:31 PM Thanks! It looks great! Can you tell if it's white throughout or painted?

You have to dig a bit to find them. They are on the Imports tab.
So I think they still have us in the closet so to speak.

It's white plastic.

5S Dude 01-11-2006, 04:31 PM Hi EzRider, Nicely done! very cool with the Honda logo behind the grill with the body colored deflector.
cuincourt 01-14-2006, 12:46 PM I like it.
Texmex1 01-14-2006, 04:50 PM Yep, I need to go back and paint my cross bar too......
BlackandTan 01-14-2006, 05:14 PM Looks good. I like the Honda emblem behind. How did you mount it there? glue?
bonerep 01-14-2006, 06:32 PM Very very cool. I may borrow that one and do the same on mine.:D
EzRider 01-14-2006, 06:42 PM Looks good. I like the Honda emblem behind. How did you mount it there? glue?
The original emblem is held on the stock grill with two screws. I made a template to align and mark the holes I drilled into the cross member; mounting it with the same screws with a couple of washers.
WhiteRTLnav 01-15-2006, 01:41 AM I'd be interested in seeing a variation of the 2006 Pilot grille on the Ridgeline. I think the two fully filled in slats, along with how they flow into the edges would look great on the Ridgeline. Anyone agree?
EzRider 01-15-2006, 04:47 AM You might have something there.

So far that is the best alternative to the stock grille I've seen. Hope they go ahead and make a version for the Ridge.
Gretchen 01-15-2006, 12:46 PM That looks incredible!

ridgeline2006 02-11-2006, 11:27 PM Where did you get both the grille and deflector? this looks very nice
:)
Joe Mac 02-13-2006, 01:33 AM I'm with you tlaudio. Mostly because it is larger than the stock one and fills the "space" completely, without the recess. And also because it's mainly black, which I think would go well with my red.
I'm thinking about getting it and painting the surrounding chrome black too, just leaving the H to "hover".
EZ- your grill looks trick. Very nice also!
