so ive finally decided to add a couple of things to my ridgeline. i love the way it is stock, i don't want to ever REPLACE anything. soooo, i've decided on stainless steel nerf bars for sure. what i'm debating on is the brush guard, stainless steel also? or black? my rtl is white so im thinking the stainless steel wouldn't look right as a brushguard and the black would stand out a lot more and look better, but then again black doesn't carry the "lifetime warranty." i figured the black wont look so bad since the nerf bars have black on the steps, plus the mudguards, etc. any help, opinions to help me come up with a final decision--greatly appreciated. :)

Black would be okay I think, however you have to think about the warranty. Another thought would be to go ahead and get the stainless steal and maybe later upgrade to a wheel package with some crome that way it'll bring out the stainless steel. No need to change the size of the wheels, just get some chome. I'm sure someone here can do some photoshop to give you some type of visual of how it'll all look together. Good luck.

fridgey,
Take a look at the Westin Platinum Stainless steel nerf bars. They come in stainless steel with a black powdercoat finish, with the lifetime warranty. (http://www.westinautomotive.com/pages/westin%20plat%20series%20step%20bars.html.)
I just bought them last week and had no problems with installation. You should double check to make sure that the Westins that you are buying fit with the Ridgeline - I was told that some resellers have the older Westins, which had fit problems.
Let me know if you have other questions.

And if you're looking for Westin, please remember that Burtman carries them and they are a forum sponsor.
And by the way-personally I would match the side steps and bull bar. To me, the goal is to try to replicate the look of a tube frame vehicle-like a sand buggy, so all the tubes should match.

I agree with Scott the bars should all match.
You might try thinking down the road. Do you think you will swap out the stock wheels with something street-like / chromier or do you think you like the more rugged off-road look and may go darker and meaner.
If you like the street look go chrome if you like the rugged look go black.

i dont know if i would care for the warranty much i was planning on using them to plow into every ass that insists on cutting me off every morning. ;) thanks hnc for the website, i think i may go with the black nerf bars instead. i dont plan on ever changing the wheels (maybe when my warranty goes out, i will think about lifting), but im NOT so much into the street look... so black bars-black brush it is. thanks guys :)
