I may be wrong but aren't there only two choices? How could you vote for your favorite team if your favorite team is neither the Steelers or the Seahawks?

Is the poll a little bais? The NFC arguably the tougher conference? I don't think the previous Super Bowl or Pro Bowl teams would believe that;) .

To cover all the bases----
I am rooting for the Steelers, but I think the Seahawks will win

There is always one in every crowd, is that fluff? LOL I should have said favorite between the two teams that are playing, now you can say isn't that the same thing as saying AFC or NFC? I'll say yes.
lets take ladyridge for example. she loves the steelers but does she really think DEEP, DEEP down they will win? I think not, so she would vote for NFC to win....Remember lady, this was just an example.

I agree about the previous years comment, this year is a little different though.

Go Steelers! If my Eagles can't be there I'll root for the "other" Pa team.:( Seriously, I think the Steelers deserve to be in the Bowl and I think they will win it. I hear everyone in Pa is eating Rothlis"burgers" for dinner tonight.

How can you say the NFC is the tougher Conference, they aren't divisions. The best teams over the last 5 years have been in the AFC. Who won 3 of the last 4 Super Bowls? Who had the best record in the NFL this year?
The NFC is the weaker Conference and has been for quite some time. There was a time when it was the other way, but it swung over to the AFC and I don't see it swinging back anytime soon.
The Steelers are going to win this in a landslide... probably 21-24 point gap.

I'm not emmotional about this, yes AFC has been stronger "HAS" time are a changin. I guess you'll have to deal with that. Yes, steelers are tough this year and every other year, but lets see what they do in this upcoming game.
Is Bill cower the ugliest of all NFL coaches or what?

I heard they covered up the Coors beer on the store shelves in Pittsburgh yesterday, since it's from Denver, so people would have to buy a different beer. That's great. I'm glad the Steelers won that game, but I think Seattle will win SBXL.
I'm rooting for both teams because they both have good reasons to win.
-Neither has been there for awhile, although Seattle has never been there.
-Both have deserving QB's and RB's, in my opinion. It would be nice to see Bettis go out on top. Big Ben impresses the hell out of me every time I see him play! Hasselbeck has been great the last few years. And how can you argue that the league MVP, Alexander, isn't awesome?
-Both defenses are really good.
-And I don't think you can beat the two head coaches.
-The Steelers have the ROC rooting edge because we want LadyRidge to be happy!
All in all, it should be a great game. I'm looking forward to it even though my favorite team didn't come anywhere close to even sniffing the playoffs.

OOOH! LadyRidge, I had to close my eyes when I saw his picture because I thought I was about to be spat upon!!
BTW, I think the Steelers Offensive Coordinator will be the next head coach for the Raiders!

Yeah..he does have a habit of impersonating a camel from time to time doesn't he?
He's still awesome. :D
I win either way. I've lived in both Seattle and Pittsburgh and liked both cities a lot.
This will be Jerome Bettis's last game and he'll be playing in his home town (Detroit); Ben learned alot from last year and will be a bit more judicious in his passing, but Holmgren is due and Seattle has received no respect (sort of like the Patriots a few years ago).
It should be a good game ("should" being the operative word).

Come on folks, the Steelers will win this game. the Steelers defense is as good or better than any defense the Seahawks have seen(and I am a Redskins fan...if it wasnt for the offense...that's a different post). Troy Polomalu is the ex factor and will prove to mess up Hasselback because Polomalu is all over, like the Engergizer Bunny, all over. My prediction is...Steelers will get a lead and start running all over the rattled Seahawks. Steelers win.

I got a problem with this Superbowl. Being I'm a die-hard Giant fan I always root for the NFC in the Superbowl but deep down I know Seahawks were always an AFC team until recently. So I really don't care who wins, BUT: From a knowledgeable point of view I see the Steelers winning, stronger, tougher and played better in last few games. Remember, Redskins gave Seahawks all it could handle and we ALL KNOW the GIANTS had them !!!:D

I guess I'm the only one with @#$% here, so I'll bet against the lady R, (sounds like a boat) you didn't say where and how much I would have to paint if I lose, So if I do it'll be the oil drain plug in the color of her choice.

Come on. The Steelers have played over their head for so long it's about the time where they will be brought back to reality. Seahawks by 10. Thake it to the bank.
