I am looking at either the under rear seat storage system or the rear under seat cargo tray. What are the pros and cons of each. I am thinking that by adding the storage system it will take away from the space available.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.

I have the tray. The storage system seemed to take up more room than I wanted. Tray leaves a large open space when the seats are up (which is better for larger items). Overall I think it depends on what you take with you - do you have items that need to be stored in the truck? If so may what the stroage system to contain things. If you do not have much to take with you (like me) go with the tray. We get a lot of snow so I keep a snow shovel, ice scraper and snow remover on the floor in the back- shovel would not fit with the storage system.

I've got the storage system and like it a lot. For large items you can just unclip the netting that runs along the front of it, which is also folded in half so that it can hold umbrellas and things that you don't want to be rolling around. It also stops things from rolling into passengers feet if you have to brake sharply, and holds shopping bags in place if you didn't want to use the bed or trunk. No complaints so far. It is secured with two big thumb screws so can be removed in less than a minute if necessary.

I have the tray, but I have to say I wish they made it in matched colors for all the other mats. I like it, but to be honest, I probably would put things on the floor without it just the same, this just saves the carpet a little. I don't think I would buy the storage unit thing myself because I would want to sort of customize it to something more likely to be useful for my usage. And maybe something that can fold a little flatter in the end. But this is rather a lot of work and for now the tray is all I need. Although I desperately need to clean out my truck now, got crap all over the back seat area from too much winter stuff and a few trips that I never exactly recovered from.

Ours are grey and matched perfectly.
Sorry to hear the tan does not match.........:(
I have two grey Rubbermaid totes. Work great for all the loose stuff, are mostly invisible and I can pop them into the trunk if I need storage in the cab for larger things.

Hez,
Tell me about the Rubermaid totes. What size are they and do you have a part number for them? Also, where did you purchase them?

hELLO i HAVE THE RUBBER MATT TRAY ITS GOOD BUT ONLY COMES IN GRAY.
I have had the storage system for about six months. It works great and no one can see what's there. Small items do not move around. Larger items just rest over the net or remove it altogether. Or it can be quickly removed if you require more floor space. TYhink about what you will use it for then decide.
