Hey folks,

I was contacted by Honda Corporate and asked to evaluate my vehicle and any purchasing problems, etc. I told him that my vehicle was great and I didn't have anything negative to say. I did mention that the reason I got the RTS was I didn't want black bumpers and steel wheels. I said that I should have been able to get both for the RT price. Also, told him this site address and to pass it on to higher ups, if necessary, and that this site had been very beneficial to me. I also told him about the problems with the wind noise and steering wheel that a lot of you were having. He was very attentive and recorded our conversation and said that all the mentioned problems would be forwarded up the ladder. I told him that Corporate probably new about the wind and steering wheel problems, as quite a few owners were experienceing these problems. He gave me his name and telephone number, office location and hours he could be reached if I encountered any problems down the road. This call was the first I've ever received from a vehicle Corporate office and I've had over 10 new cars. :)

I got the same call and expressed my concern about getting parts for the Ridgeline. Currently, I am trying to get a part found in the OEM DVD accessory for the Ridgeline. So far, I have not found any dealers that can sell the part by itself (the part should be about $20). The best I could get is buying the part with the package at $200.00. I told the rep that called me that this is ridiculous and individual parts should be available for purchase. She said she would "process" my complaint.

did you also note that the lumbar support should have been available on all RL levels. I've read somewhere that the lumbar support (manual) is not available in the base RT model. I'm looking to purchase the RTS, due to one of the factors it has lumbar support. If the RT model did have the lumbar support i would have bought it a while ago.
