In honor of our one year anniversary with our truck I'm posting a picture of us picking it up at the dealer. I'm clutching all the paperwork I was armed with to save us some money. I also had vertrkr's check list and we went over every item before talking to the series of men trying to get more money out of us when we signed our contract. I said "No" a lot. Thanks everyone on the ROC for all the great advice.

I used to in the early years (HS golf team for 3 yrs) though not bad. Now I have a slight draw. In my years of playing (19 yrs), I've learned to just hit it straight and don't worry about distance. I figure that I'm saving about 6 shots per 18 holes by staying away from the tall and thick. :D

My best round ever was two days after the PGA tour came though Endicott, NY (B.C. Open) in 1990 and I played the pro tees to see how I'd do. I played out of my a** as I was even through 16, bogeyed the 17th as I missed a 2 ft putt :o and par'd the 18th for a 73. I was a 13 handicap then. I think I am about a 17 handicap now as I just play only a couple times a year. Now my game has flashes of brilliance surrounded by "I could do better".

Okay heres me, getting ready for a hawaiian wedding last summer. Coincidentally before leaving on the wedding trip, I bought my Ridgeline the day before. And that is why I got that big smile.;)

That's one of our portable hog traps, we also have a couple semi permanent pen style ones. Talk about prolific, they put rabbits to shame.

I know the Melbourne, FL airport had a problem with them a few years ago. especially when they were "penned up", they had free rein and got out of control. If I remember corretly, they brought traps in and hunters to end the problem.

We used to live in Bellevue too and my 2nd son was born at the EB Hospital. I was with the 55th CPTS (Finance) but I left after a year for Clark AFB. Sorry if i started to babble about my military past. 13 yrs of service sure was awesome! Anyways, i sure miss the AF but not Offutt... Harooo!

No ground blind just a bunch of trees and good face camo and nerves of steel. It's tough to concentrate knowing your at a disadvantage with a bow and your heart is about to come out of your chest.:eek:

Papa smurf always told me I'd find my place in the world! You bet those suits get hot! Thank God we only have to wear them quarterly for training purposes. Last summer I had one on during training when it was 90F with 80% RH. Within 15 minutes the face was so fogged up I couldn't see through it. My title is Research Scientist. I'm a chemist by education.

no, and trust me, I REALLY tried. The prob is the snails are too large and although it IS an Ar-15 mag, the stem isn't long enough to catch. They'll prolly make an FS2000 model soon however.

Shooting is fun.. My dad is completely hooked , he built a Savage pistol that shoots a 6Br better than a lot of his rifles at 1000 yards. :eek:

He must have some crappy rifles then, or needs to adjust his sites or scopes depending on what he's using.

Well it goes against my better judgement as I never post photos of myself and usually burn any photos that others take of me but heres one that was left in the dark recesses of my hard drive.

It's me with the "kids" the Poodle is Weston and the dalmatian is Jessica. Oh and if you look close enough inbetween my feet you can find George W. Bush, one of Westons chew toys. In this photo Weston had decided to just go for a swim so there goes that $90.00 hair cut he had the day before. The dalmatian on the other hand want's nothing to do with water and when the better half and I are swimming, she keeps well away from the pool for some unknown reason ;)

Weston in this photo is only about 6 months old or so (he'll be 2 years old Nov 25, 2007) and Jessica in this photo is between the ages of 10 and 12 years, hence why she's now starting to look like her pops with the added pounds.

As many as I can. I ran a set down to the cords this years - about 26 hours. Probably 150+ heat cycles. :) Your can't stand to run more than about 15 minutes at a time, so you're doing a lot of heating up & cooling down.
