I support the Conservation Program which gives $'s to non-game species in the state, very worthwhile and the plate has the Loon on it. I figure since I support game species with my Super Sport License the least I can do is support the non-game as well. Used to have a Lobstah... but it looked more like a Crawdad! The Chickadee is the official plate, the Conservation plate is the Loon (which is a fine fisher in its own right) then there are Veteran Plates which I could have gotten and various others... I choose to give as little info as possible in public forums. An internet savvy person can find out who you are and where you live from you license plate. By not posting it on the net you keep a certain amount of privacy. Can someone get my plate as I am driving around certainly. For the past many years that I've had my own independant warranty administration company serving Honda, Acura, Subaru and occasional Volvo dealers I've been trying to get this license plate but it's either been in use or blocked from being ordered. But 3 or so weeks ago on the day that it was confirmed that my Ridgeline had arrived at the dealer I popped over to the dmv Online system and was allowed to order the plate so I did. Now Im just waiting on the notification to tell me that the plates are waiting for me at the local DMV office so that I can get them on the truck. Hopefully it won't be too much longer. Not worth the call as the website says 8 to 12 weeks and it's still shy of 12 weeks by about 3 weeks, so maybe it will be in come the next 3 weeks or so. I was really surprised! Good luck with yours! Coming from Cali you'd think with all of the overcrowded prisons you'd have yours in a day or two! LOL And YES I can say that! I also refuse to get new personalized plates because I think in 2005? Ohio went to flat plates instead of pressed which in my opinion makes them look cheap.
