I saw the BROKE plate in NJ on the back of a Rolls. The best was on an early Mazda truck with a Wankle; HMMMMMMMM (Old add campain)

For those not sure of the relevence. There is a vehicle called the warthog in the game (and upcoming movie) HALO & HALO 2 on Xbox. The ridgline favors it more than any other vehicle. We have big gaming matches here and everyone calls it (Ridgeline) the Warthog. Thus it is now.

You should have got the Amazon Green. It really looks like the Warthog, espacially after I added the 50 Cal to my roof rack.

Depending on the plates you choose in Maine depends on how many numbers or letters you can have, range is 3 to 7. I support the Conservation Program which gives $'s to non-game species in the state, very worthwhile and the plate has the Loon on it. I bought the GA wildlife tag with the eagle for my RTL. Not personalized, but I did my part for the conservation program in GA.

I support the Conservation Program which gives $'s to non-game species in the state, very worthwhile and the plate has the Loon on it. Used to have a Lobstah... but it looked more like a Crawdad! The Chickadee is the official plate, the Conservation plate is the Loon (which is a fine fisher in its own right) then there are Veteran Plates which I could have gotten and various others... I've had the Loon Plate since 1994 so I just vanatized it with the Blue RTL.... :D

I have a question... I've seen it on this web site, many others and even TV news and other programs.
Why do people block out plate numbers in pictures? Is it that someone may track them and come take there stuff? If thats the case, why not worry about driving about town? most likely would be where theft would happen anyway:confused:
In no way am I trying to offend anyone REALLY! I am just trying to understand. I'm curious, as to whenever my teen gets around to finding my camera, I do want to post pictures of the RL , and just wanna know if I need to protect myself from whatever it is

Its really a preference thing. I choose to give as little info as possible in public forums. An internet savvy person can find out who you are and where you live from you license plate. By not posting it on the net you keep a certain amount of privacy. Can someone get my plate as I am driving around certainly. But they are less likely to remember it when they get home unless I really pi$$ed them off.

Hey JOZ you still got the VR4? I have wanted a 300GT since they were made! 4wheel drive 4 wheel steering twin turbos aww man this will be something I will spoil myself with one day. Maybe even the VR4 spyder convertible. Man those cars were ahead of their time.

Warthog is the nickname for the A-10 Thunderbolt tank killer attack aircraft. I worked on them before I retired from the Air Force. Cool name!! <>< :cool:

Which is Mugen Power. If you don't know they manufacture racing parts for Honda's in Japan. Mugen is also the name of my English Bulldog.

Instead of a State personalized license plate, I had a separate plate made for the front of the Ridge.

Local vendor at the Mall makes all kinds of plates and this is what I ended up with.

In the Photo I am at a Car Show that gathered 256 entries. Top awards went out to the best 120 cars. We had a great time, it felt like I had gone back in time. I have been showing cars for a long time. Real good day

I finally was able to order the plate "WARANTY"

Yes I know it's missing an R but california only allows 7 letters. For the past many years that I've had my own independant warranty administration company serving Honda, Acura, Subaru and occasional Volvo dealers I've been trying to get this license plate but it's either been in use or blocked from being ordered.

But 3 or so weeks ago on the day that it was confirmed that my Ridgeline had arrived at the dealer I popped over to the dmv Online system and was allowed to order the plate so I did. Now Im just waiting on the notification to tell me that the plates are waiting for me at the local DMV office so that I can get them on the truck. Hopefully it won't be too much longer.

My husband served in Iraq for 9 months last year...every chance we got to talk to each other he would say, "Baby, I'm gonna butter your bread". It became a big joke between the two of us. I surprised him with a 2007 Nitro pimped out when I picked him up and this is his plate:

I took this photo on I-84 in NY. I ticked the guy off some as after I passed him, realized that I wanted to get the plate on film, slowed down to well below the speed limit while reaching into the back seat to get the camera, he passed me, then I did mach 1 to catch up and snare him.

In Tennessee the plates are allowed to have 7 letters.. and it is only about $30 more/year.. Im thinking about something for the Ridgeline...

Not sure what to use though.. I like RDGLINE, HNDAFAN, BESTTRK, REALTRK, WHTRDGE, WHITRIDG, YTRIDGE, DRVHNDA, RYDHNDA, RIDGLNE.. I may just transfer the REKLESS plate onto the Ridge. I dunno I have to renew my plates in Feb.. I will decide then..

I maybe applying for a TN Emergency Plate... Since the wife and I are Medical Personel.. Im not sure if we can get one or not, I know EMT's Paramedics, Firefighters, Police, and Physicans can get them.. I think we can too as Nurses..

Nevermind, I finally got someone on the phone over at the DMV number who said the plates are not in yet and they don't know why they are taking so long but gave me a number to call up in Sacramento to see if they know anything. Not worth the call as the website says 8 to 12 weeks and it's still shy of 12 weeks by about 3 weeks, so maybe it will be in come the next 3 weeks or so. Must be a backlog at the prison printing press.

:D Your prison comment made me laugh! In Alaska they say up to 12 weeks to get plates, too...but I got mine in less than 2 weeks. I was really surprised! Good luck with yours!
Coming from Cali you'd think with all of the overcrowded prisons you'd have yours in a day or two! LOL

I tried to come up with one when I bought my wife the RL, but couldn't get one out of my head in time for me to order (bought the truck in Feb. and had to renew on my b-day in March. How crappy is that?) I always get 2 year renewals here in Ohio, so I've got one more year to think of one before I renew the general ones she has...

I also refuse to get new personalized plates because I think in 2005? Ohio went to flat plates instead of pressed which in my opinion makes them look cheap. I'm not replacing the plates on my car until I have to.
