BTW, how deep can the RL go in water crossing, without stalling or water seeping in the cabin or any damage to the vehicle?

Like the VW toureg i believe it can cross any water as deep as 22.8 inches of water.

I think I read that maximum water depth for fording is 18.2 inches.

no kidding, its the 0.2" are usually the splash or wake of the water from a moving object that usually get you.
