: Hi all.
hankeepank 03-08-2006, 10:24 AM I am taking delivery of my RTL (Steel Blue) w/ tonneau and XM on Friday. This site has proven to be invaluable throughout the purchase process. I can't wait to get my hands on it! The enthusiasm that you guys have is infectious! I'll be buying the Honda Care from the dealer on this site:D as the dealer (Honda of Ithaca - NY) where I am purchasing the truck from wants $1,350 for it. The dealer has been great otherwise. With your help I was able to do most of the leg work over the phone and by email.
Thanks!
BIGGUY 03-08-2006, 10:58 AM Welcome to the ROC hankeepank, great choice on the color of your 'NEW' ride;)
Long Gone 03-08-2006, 11:04 AM Welcome to the ROC family and glad to be of help.
Didn't they have any SLIVER..err..I mean Silver on the lot!!?? ( Darn that RedRockRT ) Geez..I'll have to call them and give them a piece of my mind.
;)
Enjoy the ride!!
hankeepank 03-08-2006, 11:08 AM Yes they did have silver, but I am trading in my silver VW Passat. I needed a new color for my new ride!
Ithaca? Nice! I grew up in Vestal, NY and have been to Ithaca many times. Do you have to go up and down "the hill" to Ithaca college? Man that road is a piece of work. Not like the road to Cornell is that much better. You'll get plenty of opportunity to use the 4wd!
From what I remember, Honda of Ithaca looked like a nice place, a bit small, but nice...near the bottom of buttermilk falls(?).
I miss the winery tours... oh well, I like Florida much better (sans the hurricanes of course):D

I know the area very well and you're right about that hill. I am actually in Skaneateles (pronounced 'skinny at lis' its a Native American name) which is one of the Fingerlakes. I am about 1 hour away from Ithaca - but they gave me the best deal.

hagerswami 03-12-2006, 07:16 AM Beautiful and I really like blue. Told the dealer last Feb 05, whichever comes in first, I'll take. It was the red one, oh well, I like it now as much as the blue.:)
