Thanx Truckin! CUinaRidge 03-20-2006, 08:00 PM I called Canine Covers today and they do not make a back seat cover for the RidgeLine yet. They said to call back in 30 days. I asked if I could give them the dimensions to have one custom made and they said no. They would have to physically take the dimensions themselves. I wanted to get a split one... I put up the 40% seat .. then Rhett jumps up in the truck and then up onto the 60% seat. I then lower the 40% seat and he has the whole back seat to himself. He has now learned a new command... Backup!! to go back on the seat so I can raise the seat to let him jump down off the seat and then down out of the truck. I did find a cover for now... Just bought it tonight at Scheels sporting goods store.. :) Rocky Top RTL 06-05-2006, 06:50 PM Just got my Hill & Dale seat cover today. It is a tight fit but works. I got the beige color and it blends well with the interior color. I don't think I will use the elastic bands that are supposed to go around the corners of the seats b/c it makes it way too tight. Plus I am more concerned about protecting the sitting area not the backrest. Not bad for $30. I like the fact that it does not absorb liquids. I found the website for it on one of the previous posts. Truckin' 06-05-2006, 06:52 PM Can you post some pics so we can see how it looks? BK117T 06-06-2006, 06:37 PM If you get a pet supply catalog in the mail, look in the car section and look at the "seat hammock (http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=11123&Ntt=hammock&Ntk=All&Ntx=mode+matchallpartial&Np=1&pc=1&N=0&Nty=1)". You put two loops over the rear head rests and two loops over the front seat head rest. Works great!!:D With this it also blocks the dog from climbing up front and keeps hair off the seat and carpet. The dog sits on the cover that rests on the seat bottom so the headrest's dont hold the weight but do hold the front and back up. It works great :D . It is by Dogloo , the same company that makes dogloo dog houses . Chelsea likes it a lot . The seat belts go through a band and a velcro dohicky secures it at the top to the belts . The whole thing is washable and the foam inners can be removed . | |
