: Ok....East Coast Ridgeline Owners....
Long Gone 04-13-2005, 06:35 AM ...we need to form a group here. I'll volunteer to coordinate it if we have some willing participants. I know Nicholas is ( this is his idea ) and maybe one other person. Anyone else? I live 30 miles south of Cleveland but with 4K on my 'Line already in a hair less than 6 weeks, I guess you figured driving is not an issue for me. I am open to suggestions. We Easterns just can't let those guys out West get away with having such a good time on Mt. D.
Let me know.

emgun 04-13-2005, 07:59 AM South NJ near Philly. I that is more east coast than Ohio. :) Good idea, I am game!!
Nicholas 04-13-2005, 08:47 AM Hello all! Used to belong to a group called " Ford Diesel.Com" (now changed to Diesel.Stop.com after Mister Ford Motor Company politily requested their name be removed from the heading). It was a group pf people who owned the Excursion and F-250 thru F-350 Super Duty vehicles. We got together a few times (from all over the states and Canada) to visit and tour the main plant in Kentucky and the engine plant in Indiana. Were no "dues", just a informal group of people with something in common. Sometime vendors would sponsor a weekend get-together and show their new products. Wondered if anyone else might be interested?
Long Gone 04-13-2005, 09:26 AM Hey Nicholas, great idea. Maybe we can get Honda to sponsor something for us. I'll check into it with my Honda contacts. I'll keep you posted.
J.C. :)
shovelhd 04-13-2005, 10:25 AM I'm in western MA. Keep me posted.
Long Gone 04-13-2005, 10:47 AM Will do. Glad to have you join us.
steveberger 04-13-2005, 11:13 AM I'd be coming from Hartford, CT area. I don't know anything about it but how about Williamsport, PA as a meeting place?
Ultra-HOG 04-13-2005, 12:16 PM Great idea! I live in State College, PA., (Penn State University, Nittany Lions, Joe Paterno - OK bear with me. Maybe this year is the year... ) not far from Williamsport. Williamsport is just North of I-80. State College is just South of I-80 in the center of PA. Another location that would be a lot of fun is Quaker Steak and Lube (www.thelube.com) in Cranberry Township, just North of Pittsburgh, not far from the PA/Ohio line near I-80. They are a fabulous restaurant with an automotive theme. Check their web site - it would be a lot of fun. There is one scheduled for here in Central PA but not until next year. There is a very nice large outlet mall close by so it could be a nice day out. I will be happy to contribute to organizing whatever happens.
steveberger 04-13-2005, 01:32 PM I think I've been to Quaker Steak & Lube. I was on some business just up the road in Wampum, PA and we stopped for dinner on our way back to the Pitt. Airport.
Cranberry is another 225 mile drive for us "way" East Coasters. I was trying to find something in between for all those that had responded so far.
Ridgeline Crime Unit 04-13-2005, 02:44 PM Brunswick georgia, 1 hour north of JACKSONVILLE Florida!!
Long Gone 04-13-2005, 08:39 PM Lets find out how many we have and where we are all coming from and find a happy medium. Sound ok to all of you???
Ridge Man 04-13-2005, 09:39 PM Hey dudes haven't you heard "West is Best" East is Least" Just stirring the POT "Go for it" Got my 5 bucks on the west....we need to form a group here. I am open to suggestions. drouke 04-14-2005, 03:57 AM I'm an hour south of Boston.
Alvega007 04-14-2005, 07:20 AM I'm in South Central PA. Lancaster County to be more specific.
Long Gone 04-14-2005, 09:21 AM Sounds like a challenge to me. OK...you got it!
The West sides first meeting consited of 3 'Lines. We can beat that. East side..listen up. Lets keep in touch, where we are from and plan our course of attack on some poor unsuspecting community. If everyone, I guess East of the Mississippi, would email me with their location, I'll throw it into my computer and find a central location.
Email me at bucksgirl@ameritech.net.
Ready...Set....GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ultra-HOG 04-14-2005, 03:37 PM I still like Quaker Steak and Lube in Cranberry, PA. Within four hours drive time, most of PA, most if not all of Ohio, Maryland, West Virginia and Western New York is accessable. Having lived in the center of Pa for 30 years (please don't do the math!), I am accustomed to being equally inaccessable from everywhere. The location really does not matter to me. As a practical limit, four hours drive time seems to be the maximum that I think most people will be willing to drive. Additional attractions, such as the nearby outlet mall, that appeal to most people is a plus.

Long Gone 04-14-2005, 04:42 PM Sounds great to me! May I suggest the 8th of May?
Nicholas 04-14-2005, 08:49 PM Southeastern Ohio here (between Marietta and Athens and way out in the country). May 8th is OK by me...now where? :o
drouke 04-15-2005, 04:02 AM Six Flags new jersey might be a nice place to meet with the families.
Long Gone 04-15-2005, 09:14 AM My kids are gonna kill me. I forgot about Mothers Day on the 8th?
Oh well...with a Ridgeline in my driveway...EVERYDAY is "MY" day!!!
Not sure we can swing the NJ Six Flags outing. We are preparing for vacation in July out west. Keep me posted on ideas.
Lady, How far west are you coming? Do you need a place to park the trailer? Near San Jose Airport? Free? Let me know.
Long Gone 04-15-2005, 09:24 AM Right now our plan is Mt. Rushmore and Yellowstone...but thanks so much for the offer. You're a sweetheart!! :p
Long Gone 04-16-2005, 07:18 AM Ok..we need some more 'Line owners over here in the East to contact us. We have a great plan of action ( steveberger and I ) and we need to get with all of you who are interested soon to see if it works for you as well.
hagerswami 04-16-2005, 10:34 AM I might be interested, but I can't May 8. My neice is graduating from graduate school and I will not miss that. Would be game for a meet in central PA or anywhere within 4 hours. I've now got 4425 on my Ridge after 5.5 weeks. You and me Ladyridge, neck and neck. :)
Alvega007 04-16-2005, 08:44 PM I am also interested, but can't May 8th. Would be game for a meet in central PA or anywhere within 4 hours.
Dnucci 04-18-2005, 02:01 PM I am interested as well.
Located in South Jersey, about 30 minutes out of Philadelphia.
Long Gone 04-18-2005, 04:27 PM Hi Guys!!!
Things are looking up and we have a tremendous interest in Ridgeline owners who will be in our Mothers Day Wagon train!!!!!. The exact place is yet to be determined but we are narrowing our choices down. We have 'Line owners willing to go the extra mile just to make this happen. I'll even venture to guess more than 3 will be in our group photo. WHY you ask? "East is the Beast".
Stay tuned.

Long Gone 04-20-2005, 09:11 AM Good Morning Mid/East Coast Ridgeline Owners!!!!
Please contact member steveberger on this website to order your tickets for the Yankees game at 1:05 PM Sat. 5/7 at nearby Yankee Stadium in the Bronx we will be attending while in NYC for our gathering. We have alot of interest and excitement is building.
I'll be back to you with more information. Keep checking back!!!!
LR
OK..WE HAVE DECIDED ON A MEETING LOCATION!!!! Flushing Meadows Park. We can have our group picture taken in front of the Unisphere. We will then be attending the Yankees game so be sure to get in your ticket requests to steveberger soon. The Yankees are playing Oakland at 1:05 p.m. so we need to meet Saturday morning at 9am. I am trying to arrange a group photo with the Yankees since many of us will be driving so far for this History making occasion!!!! An official from Honda may also be making an appearance. The park is easy to find and there are alot of things to do. Flushing Meadows Park is accessable off of the Long Island Expressway. Once you are in the park you'll find the Unispere. It's too big to miss. All you RTL owners...use your Navi!! Contact steveberger or myself if you have more questions!!!!
Long Gone 04-20-2005, 12:09 PM To the top please!!!
Long Gone 04-20-2005, 01:05 PM To the top again please!!!!
Fine. But don't expect the yankees to win if Rich Harden is pitching for Oakland.
shovelhd 04-20-2005, 04:53 PM A Yankees game???!!!???!!! NO %^&(*#@ WAY!!! The only way I'll walk into Yankee Stadium is when the Sox are in town. The 2004 World Champion Boston Red Sox. Watch the Yankees??? I'd rather eat puke. :p
Ultra-HOG 04-20-2005, 08:09 PM Aw, come on, don't be shy. Tell us how you really feel!!!
Long Gone 04-20-2005, 08:14 PM Ultra...you're a trip. :D
Hey Shovel...does that mean you won' be joining us?
shovelhd 04-20-2005, 09:09 PM Not at that venue unless they're playing the Sox. There's no way I could contain myself. I'd be dead or in jail before the seventh inning stretch. :D
boxsky 04-20-2005, 11:39 PM I think near Philly would be a good choice. You'll get NJ, PA, NY, DE people to come plus possibly MD, WV, CT people.
boxsky 04-22-2005, 06:57 AM I think you're on to something here. we could turn this into a Honda Hoot like they have been doing for years now. I'll volunteer to be the financial sec.
Anyone interested in joing this new club and starting the Ridgeline Hoot send $29.99 to me. More details to follow on your membership package.
Long Gone 04-22-2005, 07:38 AM Don't move. I'll write my check!!

mayfielh 05-20-2005, 09:59 AM Did this meeting ever happen? I don't remember seeing any pictures.
Ultra-HOG 05-20-2005, 11:57 AM I really don't want to restate the same thing that I said before twice but, although this could be considered a reduntant duplication of the same thing that I said before again, twice, here goes, again...
