I have a 06 with 2" lift from skyjacker. I like hitting the trails up here in BC canada. Lots of mud, some rocks, etc etc. I haven't found its limits - but haven't done anything nuts yet.
After i got the skyjacker i got a little depressed cuz i didn't think i could get much bigger/more offroad worthy tires on it. I hear ( but it isn't confirmed) that they cut 2" off the one in the baja.
This one however

Seems to have some good "meat" on the tires. Anyone know what mods/ rims/tires this guy is running?
Thanks.

This one belongs to jamminjim and he rides too. His wheel & tire setup is 265/70/17 rims are 17S/8.5w/5-120mm
His is prolly the best example of an off-road motif I've seen so far!

Hey Ron,
That looks great. Is there a size difference, or just backspace difference between his wheel & stocks?
Also I would expect he has a 2" lift - can you confirm.
Oh and finally - did he do any "trimming" or anything else to make those fit ?

If you buy the MAY 06 issue of FOURWHEELER, they ran an article on the building of the RIDGELINE BAJA truck. It states they cut the max allowed by score offroad, (2 INCHES off the wheel wells) for clearance. They also installed custom KING OFF ROAD RACING STRUTS & SHOCKS, they were 2 inches longer then stock, they increased the spring weight to 500 lbs.

hey RJPerset. I am trying to avoid cuts because of resale etc.
With regards to the kings - if jim was able to clear w/o them or not i should be too. However on a diff thread on this board (http://www.ridgelineownersclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5468&page=4) and AMLEO says it DIDN'T fit on his. So I am very confused. I emailed Jim to see how he did it . We'll see what he says.
As I use it for 4x4 I have to make sure i get no rubs.. don't want a large tire induced puncture.
Anyone else fitted big offroad rubber on these ridgelines ?
