Ridge 04-30-2006, 12:40 AM I've been a Fit owner for the last four days. We purchased the Fit Sport AT/paddles, and I must say this car is a blast to drive. You can control the tranny with three different modes: Drive, Sport and sport/paddles. The paddles effectively give you complete control over the tranny. The steering is quick and responsive, and the ride is pretty firm. I agree with the "Go Kart" term some users have coined about the Fit's handling. This car is just fun.
One of the best features is the swiss army knife flexibility of the interior. The fit will fold up on the inside in about any configuration you can imagine.
If your looking at a car in this segment or even just looking for a car, you owe yourself a test drive in the Fit if you can find one on a dealer lot.
Our new Fit.
Ghostly 04-30-2006, 04:51 AM Do you have any llamas?
jwizard 04-30-2006, 04:55 AM I saw one of these in the dealer's show room yesterday and had a "Fit" over the paint job. I mean Wow can they do that to the Ridge? What's that they say about a little paint........
Saw one at the dealer Friday. Cool car. Was tempted but drove off with a new Civic. Had slightly better gas mileage and better oomph.:D

Yes, but can the Civic do this. I've also heard some Fit owners report over 40 mpg.

fightingmink 04-30-2006, 09:34 AM I'm not getting the Fit until it comes with leather, moonroof, navi, and turbo.. JK. I'm just waiting for my Civic to completely die before purchasing one. Going on 200k miles... I probably have another 200k...:(
bigred1 04-30-2006, 08:17 PM I've gotta say this car is growing on me:)
Q1000 05-01-2006, 06:03 PM What is the response time like with the paddle shift?
Ridge 05-01-2006, 10:08 PM What is the response time like with the paddle shift?
I haven't timed it, but it feels pretty immediate after you trigger the paddle.
BIGGUY 05-02-2006, 05:12 AM If you don't mind me asking "How Much" is this going for:confused:
Ridge 05-02-2006, 10:18 AM I paid MSRP and I think that was approx 15,900 for the Fit Sport AT which is the top model, but even the base model comes with air, stereo, side impact & side curtain airbags as well ABS brakes. The sport adds a body kit, cruise and nice rims. I was out the door for almost a flat 18,000 with tax, destination, doc fee etc.

Ahhh. paying MSRP. I remember it well from my Ridgeline purchase. Good luck with your Fit. Saw one on the road the other night- bright blue I think- cute!

Ridge 07-19-2006, 12:22 PM Congrats! I'm sure your loving it as we are. They seem to be very hard to get at the moment, and probably will continue in that trend for awhile as Honda doesn't have the production capacity to meet demand.
Gugimann 08-21-2006, 05:15 PM I want it now!!! :D
