New England May 6 meet ROLL CALL

If you intend to make the May 6 New England meet at the Brewery in Merrimack New Hampshire, please post so that on Friday night we can get a head count and make sure this is a go...:D

As posted in the other thread, I can only squeeze in an hour so expect me there from 10am to 11am.

20th is still on and considered the "Main Event".... Because there seemed enough interest in the 6th as well, kind of thought it would be ok to have a mini meet on the 6th for those who can't make the 20th... I expect more members on the 20th but we should be able to pull enough in for the 6th mini meet... :D

We had a small but enthusiastic turnout this morning, as the stalwart few tempted the Spring rain. One reader who is considering purchasing a Ridgeline showed up to gather information directly from Ridge owners, not realizing that he would have to temper his judgment because of the enthusiasm of the members present (Brich, RidgeNH, and EmergncyMD). Below are some photos, which includes RidgeNH's metallic blue, Brich's silver, and EmergncyMD's black Ridge.

Let me start by saying despite the fact that it took me nearly an hour to get there and I only had an hour to spend at the meet, having just 2 other members show up was great. Especially because they were there because they show the same enthusiasm about their Ridgelines as I do. I sure wish others had joined us but to me, it was more than worth it. I did stay about 45 minutes later than I anticipated, and yes, the rest of my prior commitments were a little messed up for the day...It was worth it...

Things I learned from my first (mini)meet. We have some truly cool members out there. To meet RidgeNH and EmergncyMD in person was great. Both very knowledgeable and both really into their Ridgelines. And MD's Ridgeline needs to be seen in person to really appreciate it. What a sweet ride. Meets are also a GREAT resource for those of you out there who haven't yet purchased a Ridgeline. If anyone out there is researching the Ridgleline and is still undecided, I HIGHLY recommend showing up at a meet. Your as welcome as anybody. There is no better way to check out the Ridgeline than at a meet. No pushy sales people or any pressure to buy a Ridgeline. A great opportunity to ask questions and see the versatility of this truck. What you will find is a bunch who are very happy with there decision to buy a Ridgeline.

I arrived at about 10am and was a little nervous that no other Ridgelines were in the parking lot but as soon as I stepped out of my truck, I had someone pull up next to me and asked if this was where the meet he read about on the ROC was happening. He was researching trucks and had some questions. ( I know your out there, Join the ROC, it'll be theraputic till the fall when you can buy. You know who you are ;) ). Next RidgeNH pulled up and shortly after EmergncyMD. It was a fun hour and 45 minutes of talking shop. I can't wait till the 20th to do it all again... Hope as many of you as possible can make the attempt to join us. It is a fun time.

eh Steve, we passed on the beer. Or at least MD and I did... As we were leaving, we did notice RidgeNH sneaking accross the parking lot heading to the "big building".... I'm saving the tour for the 20th when we'll have better numbers and a better chance of finding a designated driver...:D
Amazing how much fun I had this past weekend. I can hardly wait till the 20th... I'll start cleaning my Ridge now...well...actually...I never stop cleaning my Ridgeline...:o
