Where do other RL owners live in Illinois?

I live out in the river town of Marseilles, Illinois., about 70 miles SW of Chicago. I grew up in Naperville, and I still work In Burr Ridge.

I went to St. Francis H.S. in Wheaton, and attended the Univ. of Oklahoma.

I live in Centralia, IL, about 1 hour east of St. Louis, MO. :) I am new to the ROC. This is a great place to learn, brag, or just surf.

I grew up in Bartonville (Peoria). I now live in Roscoe (Ill - Wis stateline). I work in Rockford. I have a cabin in Fort Atkinson , Wi.

Peoria, born and raised, left in 1972, came back in 1988.

I live north of Chicago in the burb of Wauconda.

Live in Chatham, IL., just 5 miles south of Springfield.

It takes me between 15 and 20 minutes to get to the Northeast side of Rockford from Roscoe. (just depends on how many deer I have to dodge). :rolleyes:

funny you should mention deer, I live down by the Illinois river, and see alot of deer on my property, last night after the bar I saw a couple, and I tried to get close but they took off. I get alot of deer, and turkeys at my house.

My son moved to Danville last year from Fairfield California. If you guys hold a meet I'd try to mix pleasure with pleasure and kill two birds with a load of buckshot. See my new grandaughter again too. It would be a first time visit for my RL though.

Danville sure confuses my cell phone time. It is always swithing back and forth between Indiana and Danville time. Seems to depend on which pocket I put it in.

I live in Round Lake, about 25 miles northwest of Chicago and I love my Ridgeline !! :D

Has anyone else developed a rattle - almost sounds like it comes from the sunroof or maybe the back window ? Just wondering if it's a quick fix or should I take it in to be looked at ........

as for your issue, Id say do a search on this site you may be able to find some clues. I have not had that issue.

Crete, IL, about 30 miles south of Chicago and about 7 miles from the Indiana border. To our south are corn and soybean fields... :D

We just moved from LA to Olympia Fields last July, so we're experiencing our first Illinois winter and loving it. What I didn't love was how my Dodge Magnum Hemi handled in the snow. Traded it in on my RL last week and couldn't be happier.:D

It doesn't say you have to currently live in Illinois and as far as I'm concerned, even though I've lived in Arizona for the past 25 years, I also lived in Illinois for the first 25 years. So I'm still an illinoisan. Born and raised in Pekin! Worked at Caterpillar for 5 years.

Isn’t that the truth! :D It seems like both Illinois and Minnesota. Although the Minnesota people tend to focus on the far east valley (Apache Junction). I know because my mother-n-law (snowbird!) is there right now. Thanks for the welcome!

I joined the Air Force in my hometown of Effingham, IL. Illinois is still my state of residence. Illinois loves its veterans...I don't pay state tax and when I get out they will give me 4 free years of college at a school of my choosing.

Have seen about 4 or 5 different Ridgelines around, no ROC stickers though.

maybe mine(no ROC sticker on my silver RL(I'm not a sticker type of guy)), I go through Joliet daily on my commute either on I-80, or I-55.

Live outside Wilmington by the Kankakee River. Approximatly 20 miles south of Joliet. Don't see many ridgelines in our area maybe I should have checked with the county before I got my ridgeline because we may not be zoned to have them here.

Grew up in Bourbonnais, IL, and now live in Champaign, IL. I've seen more corn fields than I care to remember and yes I've used my heat and air conditioning in the same day :)

Red Rock 777 you work very close to where our oldest daughter and her family live. They live in Genoa,IL. We always go up in the Ridgeline and were up there in 2007 when they had the National Ridgeline meet in St. Louis. From there we drove the Ridge to Genoa. We also went on up into the dells in WS. Really liked it up there much to see and do.

Never heard of that in Will County; certainly nothing like that around Crete. Chicago and Cook County, of course, are the lands of nutball politicians with goofy zoning laws. :rolleyes:

welcome Fire and Pez! I am still wondering what silver RL is saw in schaumburg a few weeks back. Was chromed and had a roc sticker.

Also, yesterday I saw a silver ridge with a Diamond plated OEM tonnaeu cover( appeared so the way it was folded up to hold a lawnmower. I tried to take a picture but he turned off and was across 4 lanes. Had to be a ROC'r :).
I tought xRLx was the only one with the diamond plate.
