I love my Ridgeline! There are a couple of things though that I have noticed that I would prefer to be different.
1. The nav screen always comes on first to the welcome screen, and then the map. I would prefer to be able to set it to skip the welcome screen and turn on to the audio screen. I use the radio every time I'm in the vehicle, but I will rarely use the nav.
2. I would really like a setting to automatically have all of the windows, and the moonroof close when exiting the vehicle.
Considering that both of these are programing differences, it seems feasible to add these capabilities with nothing more than a firmware upgrade, making Honda's cost zero. However, I would even be willing to pay for the upgrade!

I agree. I don't need to see that nag screen every darn time. And I too would like a setting where all of the windows (including moonroof and rear slider) close when you lock the vehicle.

Nothing has changed since I made post #6.

No wait!. It has gotten hotter and more humid as summer approaches. I am sure there are many don't want an auto close.

...I am sure there are many don't want an auto close.
That is why it would be an option that you can program! Just as the doors can be programmed to automatically lock when you begin to drive the vehicle, this would be user-customizable as well.
The auto-lock functionality is a neat function, but I put my bag in my rear seat whenever I go to, or home from work. It never fails, that I get to where I'm going, I get out of the car, reach for the door, and it's locked. That is a pain to me. Eventually, I'll get around to re-programming it, I just haven't done it yet in the two weeks that I've owned the vehicle.
What works well for some, isn't necessarily the best solution for all.

As annoying as it is, that welcome screen will never go away. It is a safety thing that is required to flash everytime. Our governments actually think we read those things!!!!
Be thankful.......wihtout that screen, there is one other fix...no Navigation features while in drive. MOST, not all, but MOST nav systems in cars only work while in park. All of Honda's Nav systems are moving towards voice control and no touch screens. Appears as though these nav systems are causing wrecks as people type away and forget to look infront of them!!!!

Even if the Ridge didn't automatically close the doors and sunroof when the vehcile is parked and turned off, it would be a nice option if at least the sunroof would automatically close when it rained.....

You probably know already, but just in case.....you do know you still have power to the windows when you turn the car off until you open the drivers door!? I know it is not what you guys want, but it may be a start! :D
And rain sensing windshields...your comment about the rain brought this to mind.....suck. You can be driving down the road on a perfectly sunny day, and all of a sudden, your wipers make a pass....wham...your windshield is a mess. That, and when you get that star in the glass that can't be repaired, a lot more money to replace!!!!!
