Pizza Man 05-07-2006, 04:44 PM I hope the mods will allow this thread. The other sightings thread is a bit too broad. Seems most of the posts are not relative to our area. If not, please feel free to combine them.
On Saturday, 5/6/06, I had a banner sightings day. I was "on my way to Cape May" (there's a song by that name, a little local humor) and saw a Black heading North on Rt55 in the Vineland area. Once in Cape May, there was an Amazon Green heading east along Beach Drive. Then after dinner there was another Black with Tonneau parked on Beach Dr. across from the Convention Center. It was only about 100 ft from mine.
On the way home, driving toward Rio Grande and Wildwood on Rt47 there was a Blue. This was about 9:30pm.
Four in just a few hours, not a bad day, huh?
lsakos 05-07-2006, 08:37 PM Hey, I have heard that song...really! Hubby is from Cape May Point, lived across the street from the lighthouse. We are in so. Virginia now, though. I see ridges almost every day now, but there are not a lot out there yet. My friends are so envious of it! :p

PhillyGirl2006 05-08-2006, 06:53 AM Wow - that was a banner day! I've gone an entire week without seeing one but yesterday I saw a silver one coming in the opposite direction (Bristol Road in Warminster, PA) but it was too late to wave and a red rock sitting in a parking lot at RT 263 (of course I had to drive over to talk to them) - the guy was a dealer. That was the first red rock I've seen in this area.
Pizza Man 05-08-2006, 07:22 AM I can go weeks without seeing one and then a day like Saturday comes along. I don't count seeing my neighbors Blue RL or a business associates Black. I see those two almost daily.
It may sound odd, but I still get a kick out of fresh sightings and I've been watching for them for quite some time before my purchase.
bigred1 05-08-2006, 08:11 AM Since i've gotten mine a month ago i have only seen 2 moving. I've seen 4 or 5 in parking lots and of the moving ones was givin' her hell passing "old mill crabhouse" in Delmar, MD. (steel blue)
Pizza Man 05-09-2006, 07:24 AM I spotted a Silver RL with a Roof Rack parked at the Levittown train station in SE Pa. I was driving too fast to make out the decal on the tail gate. Anyone here?
Pizza Man 05-22-2006, 07:19 AM This is another Pa. sighting. On Saturday, 5/20, I spotted a Steel Blue parked on Wilson Ave in the area of Bristol Borough High. Nice color. :)
Luder62678R1 05-22-2006, 12:28 PM I've been seeing more and more out in Chester County, PA -- Especially along Route 1 (Baltimore Pike). Anyone here? Saw a red one and a silver recently, and multiple times going home, I've seen a blue one who's waved going south on 1 toward Kennett, usually right before 82.
cheesesteak 06-02-2006, 03:43 PM Everytime i buy a car, i see that car EVERYWHERE,
But this isn't true with the ridgeline.....which is great
Pizza Man 06-02-2006, 04:29 PM Everytime i buy a car, i see that car EVERYWHERE, But this isn't true with the ridgeline.....which is great
That's why we have sightings threads, cheesesteak. The RL is still somewhat rare and ROC members are even more rare. I'd love to see another ROC member on the road outside of a Meet & Greet. Who knows, maybe our paths will cross.
PhillyGirl2006 06-02-2006, 04:38 PM I've actually been seeing more than usual. There's one I've passed several times that showed up in a driveway not too far in Warminster (a black one) - it actually had a trailer attached and was towing another car the first time I saw it. When I drove by today it's front license plate was from Washington. So perhaps someone from the west coast has relocated east???
I saw another black one today on Rte 263 turning onto Almshouse Road.
And... there was a blue one parked in the Redner's parking lot yesterday.
It's been a busy week for RLs!
Pizza Man 06-02-2006, 04:52 PM Aside from one that belongs to a neighbor and another that belongs to a business associate, I haven't had a sighting in 2 weeks.:( My sister lives in Jameson, Pa. She see quite a few I'm told.
Pizza Man 07-10-2006, 07:13 AM On Sunday, 7/9/06, I saw a White RL driving down Wilson Ave in Bristol Borough toward the center of town. I was on my front porch at the time, but couldn't get the drivers attention.
denvrfan 07-10-2006, 08:36 PM Hey guys and gals- since when is PA considered "mid atlantic"? I was raised in Allentown and I always referred to the region as the "northeast". I've lived in Central Virginia for 12 years and I consider it to be the true mid-Atlantic. The true south really doesn't start until North Carolina. By the way, I continue to keep count of Ridgelines. I'm up to 61 since my purchase in March 2005.
shadow1 07-19-2006, 09:44 AM I pretty much see a different RL everyday. Either on the road or in a parking lot. RL's are picking up in popularity in the DC area.
BlueRidge06 07-19-2006, 11:50 AM I pretty much see a different RL everyday. Either on the road or in a parking lot. RL's are picking up in popularity in the DC area.
ditto here, i travel about 50 miles a day, so I see lots, esp when i pass by the dealer on my way to UMCP
shorty 07-22-2006, 04:37 PM There are a lot of ridgelines in the DC, MD, VA area. Today, I met a Chief Master Sgt of the Air Force at Trick Trucks in Lanham. I showed him my Ridgeline owners club sticker and told him to come here. He had a lot of questions that the Trick Truck people could not answer. I told him he can find the answers and toys to buy for his new baby here. I also told him about the ralley next week, he is thinking about taking leave and hitting the road.
I live in Crofton if you see me in the area just hollar plates are SHAWTY in the chromed out black ridge.
Out for a Sunday drive?
I usually go for weeks without seein' other RL's in the area, but just an hour or so ago, saw two within minutes of each other. Two that I'd never seen before!
A Black coming thru a construction zone at Parnassus Triangle on Freeport St.
A White on Greensburg Rd. between the Speedy Mart and the spray wash.
I didn't get a good look at either bein' I had two "tight squeezes" to contend with. (one near the G&L Motors intersection construction and one sittin' beside me. ;) )
And the White came-up around the bend, too. (again... busy b.s.'n and didn't see 'til too late. - I think I got a wave in...)
I think the Black had a special PA plate... nice.
later,
Frank
ONDLINKS 07-30-2006, 02:48 PM On Sunday, 7/9/06, I saw a White RL driving down Wilson Ave in Bristol Borough toward the center of town. I was on my front porch at the time, but couldn't get the drivers attention.
Up here in the Quakertown area I have spotted a number of RL's that I think are local owners. A red one at the local pep boys, a black, silver and blue running around town and I believe Rick Walker in his green beauty high tailing up 309 outta the Richland town mall. Made attempt to catch up to no avail.....
Pizza Man 07-31-2006, 12:50 PM Earlier today, 7/31, at about 12:30 - 1:00, I spotted a steel blue and a black on Rt 332 headed toward Tanner's Market. Anyone I know?

Hey ONDLINKS!
I'm sure that green RTL was mine. I remember pulling out of the Richlandtown Mall and passing a RL facing south on 309 at the light in front of the mall. I assume that was you??? I gave a little wave as I drove by. Tried to remember the secret ROC Ridgeline salute, but couldn't manage anything accept a little wave. We live in a development over towards Trumbarsville and run into Redner's in the mall fairly often.
So sorry you couldn't catch me, but I didn't realize you had turned around to chase me. Was my hair swept straight back? I just don't understand why I don't get better gas mileage. :D
BTW... I'll be down your way this evening. My wife and I are going to see Jars of Clay at the Sellersville Theatre at 9:00 tonight. Should be very cool. We say Beatlemania at the theatre last month.

I'll catch up with you one of these days. We go to the Sellersville theater often. Last concert was Gin Blossoms, they were great, also Al Stewart, very good and Ricky Lee Jones, She was just OK.....I play golf at Locust Valley golf club every Sunday for the last 18 yrs. and always running around our area......We will hook up one of these days......Don't drive so fast.....
P/U Thingy 08-09-2006, 01:48 PM Came out of a large government office building in southern MD, today, to find my Ridge surrounded by a gaggle of others (OK, I'm not sure of the definition of a gaggle of Ridgelines). Anyway, along with my Silver, and within two rows and 10 parking spaces, were a Blue, a Black, and another Silver. Thought I was buying something a little less common than an F-150, but I am beginning to wonder.
jgal3200 08-09-2006, 04:04 PM I can see from 0 to 6 in a day, any given day. I live in York, and work in Hunt Valley. They are becoming more popular, but man, they aren't as popular as F-150's. You have a unique truck. You never see as many RL's as you will see all the other makes and models.
Pizza Man 08-09-2006, 04:12 PM Today at about 1:15pm I spotted an amazon green traveling from the Oxford Valley Mall (Langhorne, Pa.) area toward the old Fudruckers. Anyone I know?
P/U Thingy 08-10-2006, 09:00 AM OK, so the RL is definitely not as plentiful as any other truck out there, but it was quite a surprise to find four in one small parking lot.
Hey, instead of "gaggle" to describe a group of RLs, is the term "range" more applicable? You know, like a group of mountains, hills, and such would be a range! Just thought I'd throw that out there for future reference.
Getting wet, for the first time. Asked the wife to come into work and hold an umbrella over the RL, but she just laughed and hung up on me. Geesh, women!
BlueRidge06 08-11-2006, 09:49 AM I wasn't anywhere near Southern MD, but i saw a Blue RL at the BWI Airport Loop yesterday in the afternoon going the opposite direction as me.
On Saturday, Aug 5th, saw a Redrock with rook and side steps (i think, it's been a couple days since I had a chance to report my findings) near Columbia Crossing on Snowden River Pkwy.
denvrfan 08-11-2006, 10:27 AM After 1.5 years and 15,000 miles, had my first highway encounter with another Ridgeline (when I say "encounter" I mean going in the same direction and making eye contact). I was heading home from the office at 7'ish last evening. Pulled onto I-64 westbound in the far west end of Richmond. I look in my rear view mirror and saw a white Ridge in the distance. I immediately slowed down a bit to allow him to catch up. We took the same off-ramp to I-295 towards DC. Again, I slowed down enough that the white Ridge passed. As he passed, we exchanged a thumbs-up. He got off the Nuckels Road exit. Besides being white, it had a UVA Cavalier sticker on the gate. Are you out there? My unofficial count is up to 68.
P/U Thingy 08-11-2006, 10:45 AM denvrfan, Not sure the driver of the white was anyone you'd want to know; afterall, friends don't let friends attend UVA. GO HOKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!;) Ah yes, the college football season starts in just a few short weeks.
BlueRidge06 08-11-2006, 11:04 AM GO HOKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!;)
Hokies, eh? How 'bout them Terps?!? :D
I always forget, but what's the official definition of a hokie? Most people don't know what the animal is and i knew it at one time, but have forgotten. i almost when to VTech, but chose UMD instead :)
P/U Thingy 08-11-2006, 06:27 PM Blue,
My wife, the Hokie, claims that it is fictitious, but most everyone attributes Hokie to being a turkey. Kind of like being a Wahoo (UVA) or Hoya (Georgetown), I guess. Q: What's a Hoya? A: Yes!
Bowie, eh? Just up the road from us here in St. Mary's County. Watch for Silver passing through on 301.
Anyone from the ROC golfing at Buffalo G.C. Sunday? My golf buddie said, "Hey! Look! There's your twin!" - a Silver in the lot as we arrived in mine.
A beautiful day here in SW PA! One of the nicest days so far this summer - low humidity, light breeze, sunny, "bearable" temperatures in the mid-80's (although the "first tee guy" said it was 48 degrees in the early a.m.)
Didn't think to leave a ROC brochure as we arrived within minutes of our scheduled tee-time, and "my twin" had left by the time we'd finished.
I parked the RL front-row, next to the first-tee queue, and the "#1 tee host" mentioned that there were several "positive comments" about it during the 4.5 hours there. :)
P/U Thingy 08-14-2006, 05:37 AM Let's play spot the Ridgeline! Was watching the IRL race from North Kentucky, yesterday, and noticed the crew fixing the safer barrier was drving a silver RL. Such a small world, eh?
BlueRidge06 08-14-2006, 06:30 AM Blue,

I'm actually closer to BW Pkwy than 301, I'm more northwest than most Bowie residents. No one ever thinks of that area as Bowie, but it is! :) Every once in awhile, I'm on 301, bought my RL at Honda of Bowie! :)

P/U Thingy 08-14-2006, 07:20 AM Hey, Blue. You know, I wasn't sure about the blue RL at my dealership, but it does look sharp in your photos.
BlueRidge06 08-14-2006, 07:50 AM Hey, Blue. You know, I wasn't sure about the blue RL at my dealership, but it does look sharp in your photos.
Yeah, me too, I almost went with the Redrock, but then I saw the beige interior, I chose the blue! :D
P/U Thingy 08-16-2006, 09:50 AM Other than BlueRidge06 and P/U Thingy, are there any other Southern Maryland (Calvert, Charles, St. Mary's, Anne Arundel, or PG counties) RLs on the site? I've seen at least four others in the California/Lexington Park area, so how about letting us hear from you all?
P/U Thingy 08-19-2006, 07:53 PM Was at the "large government office building" again, Friday, and spotted a fifth RL in the lot. That makes black, blue, white, and two silvers. Then saw a red turning through an intersection later in the day, so that is at least 6 of us in this little corner of southern MD. RL is getting pretty popular these days!
BlueRidge06 08-23-2006, 02:23 PM Saw a black Ridge with roof rack entering Columbia Crossing II while I was leaving it for lunch. (Went to "Chicken Out" for the first time and didn't really like it.....)
Pizza Man 08-23-2006, 03:42 PM While making a customer call this morning I saw two black RL's. The first heading south on Rt1 toward downtown Trenton and the other in front of Mercer County Park. I looked but saw no ROC decals.
Pizza Man 08-27-2006, 05:00 PM Around noon today, I saw a red traveling North on Business Rt1 then turn in to the Oxford Valley Olive Garden.
Then not a minute later I followed a silver into the Staples parking lot. He parked a distance away from the store, taking up two parking places. I pulled in along side, on the same diagonal and waited for him to get out. He appeared a little annoyed at first, until he realized it was another RL. He then smiled and waved but wasn't interested in talking.
Some day I'm going to encounter another ROC member. My efforts at recruiting suck! :o
cwsatterlee 08-27-2006, 07:39 PM Pizza man:
Keep an insulated container with you filled with meatballs and pizza. I promise when they find out your the pizza man you will be able to recruit them all.
Odds are he probably didn't know about the site. Just keep flyers in your truck with the website and ask them if they know about it. Easy ice breaker.
Otherwise, your samples would buy my time.
Pizza Man 08-27-2006, 07:44 PM CW, you're funny! :D

Got to agree here!:D I'd follow a pizza/pasta smelling RL to the ends of the earth.:p

Thanks, P/U Thingy, I thought I was the only one that would do that! :o I do keep ROC brochures in my truck, it's just that the timing is rarely right. Bums me right out! :( I'm either in my car at the time or other RL owner is moving or in my last instance the guy was in a hurry to get into the store.
My wife tells me I'm crazy. I tell her "humor me".
pakratbob 08-28-2006, 11:14 AM Well, this is my first post. Although I have owned my RL since the end of Mar 05, I just recently found this site!!! Tons of info and great banter!!! :D
Right after my purchase, I went for about 6-7 months and rarely saw any RLs in my area (Northwestern MD, around Frederick, Hagerstown, etc.). I know the Service Manager at Hagerstown Honda got the first green one in our area. I probably got one of the first half-dozen or so sold in my area.
There is now a black one and another red one near my office (Ft Detrick). I am seeing more and more of them every week. A couple of weeks ago, I was heading home on MD40 (from Frederick to Hagerstown) and I ended up with another red one in front of me, and silver and black ones behind me (all in a neat row). It must have looked like a Honda ad!!!
Red, black and silver seem to be the most popular colors. I see fewer blue ones and very few green ones. Green was actually my first choice, but I didn't want to wait!
Any other RL owners in my area in this club???
Oh, by the way . . . for the Hokie fan . . . You know what a Hokie is, right . . . "a castrated turkey" (Urban Dictionary).
(I got my undergrad at UVA!.) ;)
P/U Thingy 08-29-2006, 05:53 AM PakratBob; Welcome to the club. Sorry about your ineligibility to attend a good college, but I guess they couldn't let everyone be a Hokie!;) What am I talking about, I'm only a Hokie by marriage. Hell, my alma mater's maskot was a condom, or soldier, or something like that (Trojan), so I'm no better off. I knew that definition of Hokie  , but decided to leave that part out. Obviously the steriods have been working, as the Hokiebird is looking pretty pumped these days! Can we agree to dislike WVU?:p
I'm down in extreme southern MD, with lots of RLs in the parking lot and (lots of Hokie alumni too) around town, but none seem to be ROC members. Have printed out the flyer and will leave a few on windows, and maybe that will generate some local awareness and interest.
pakratbob 08-29-2006, 07:39 AM P/U Thingy: Thanks for the welcome. WVU is too easy to make fun of! BTW, I had a good friend in grad school who was a Trojan (undergrad).
I found out that a couple of my kids' friends' parents now have Ridgelines, too.
It was really funny when I first got mine. Every time I left my truck parked for a little while, I would come back and find hand prints and face prints on the windows . . . people looking inside! Well, I work on the second floor of my building and overlook the parking lot. One day, I looked out and saw 4 people walking around my truck and looking in the windows. Just for grins, I held up my remote and set off the alarm when one of them put their hands on the driver's window. Man, you should have seen the looks on their faces as they tried to scurry away from my truck . . . scared the crap out of them!!! :D

No wonder we're having trouble getting new members!
P/U Thingy 09-15-2006, 08:46 AM Was on my way home (in the rain) from work, yesterday, and had a green RL behind me and a silver RL (WV tags) on my right. As the green turned off, there was a blue coming the opposite direction, and then a red on up the road. Then this morning, I'm sitting at a red light and another silver pops up behind me, and as he drops off, a blue pulls out ahead of me. Gettin' so as a guy can't spit without hittin' a Ridge, here in St. Mary's Co. Let's hope they all find the ROC:) .
phood945 09-21-2006, 09:21 AM This was posted in a previous thread for sightings until I found the mid-Atlantic sighting thread sorry.
ROC sticker sighting today on Sweeney Blvd, Langley AFB, Steel Blue RL RTS or RTL with ROC sticker on the back window at 1020 am on 21 Sept 06, VA Tag starting with KAG####. I was pulling out of work and she drove right past me.:)
lsakos 09-22-2006, 08:58 PM That was me waving back! Nice to meet ya!
My poor baby has a ding now, though. Someone hit my front bumper this week when it was in a parking lot somewhere.
phood945 09-23-2006, 05:47 PM Thats awesome, I work in that building you passed me at, I was waving too, it's just hard to see through the windshields. :)
lsakos 09-23-2006, 08:37 PM You are a tad bit closer to those fast-moving F-22s than I am, :D. I currently work over along the water near the Marina. We have some lovely wind tunnels that crank up once in awhile to blast our ears a bit.
I am no longer in BDUs...I retired last year and am doing the defense contractor thing now like so many in this area. :)

Eaglesno1 09-26-2006, 10:36 PM I saw a brand new Silver in EHT, still had the dealer plates, he had the running boards, fog lights and rear tail light caps, from Eatontown NJ. Sweet truck, I remember someone asking about dealers in that area, hope they are signed on.
WVRIDGELINE 09-29-2006, 11:39 AM On my way back from Richmond I saw two RLs near Harrisonburg, VA. I was "incognito" in a rental car and not in my more recognizable RTX. Those owners are very fortunate as I paid $1.79 a gallon for gas at a Sheetz there!
Pizza Man 10-15-2006, 07:44 PM In Cape May, NJ today and parked three spots down from a silver RTL with Jersey tags, a Willis Honda logo and a Margaritaville decal on its tailgate. Anyone we know?
Kepeli 10-20-2006, 06:48 AM Today, parked next to my Lexus in Aberdeen, NJ at Wellington Place Condos there was a black RL with Black rims. I waited for the owner then decided to grab my camera and post a pic of the RL. When I went back outside in those few minutes to take a pic it was gone!
I was going to tell the owner about ROC if they were unaware of it and the meet this weekend in Cape May.
Is this anyone's RL on here?
jgal3200 10-30-2006, 04:30 PM This past Saturday morning I was out with my parents, and in an hour and a half we saw 12 Ridge's driving around York, PA. My parents were surprised with the numbers(and so was I actually) because York isn't that big. But they got to see the full spectrum of colors. The only one we didn't see was the '07 Dark Cherry.
Pizza Man 10-30-2006, 04:37 PM Jgal, just imagine if half of those you spotted came to the Mid-Atlantic Meet. :D There could have been 8 of us driving down to the Cape together.
jgal3200 10-30-2006, 04:54 PM Jgal, just imagine if half of those you spotted came to the Mid-Atlantic Meet. :D There could have been 8 of us driving down to the Cape together.
Yeah Pizza Man, that would have been a sight to see!! Thing is none of them were parked, and I didn't have any brochures :( But I will keep some in the Ridge now.
jgal3200 11-13-2006, 04:50 PM I saw a Steel Blue RL (with Maryland tags) at Target in York, PA on Saturday night the 11th. Saw a ROC decal, and waited a few minutes for the owner, but they didn't come out. Just wondering who it was.
Saw a Nimbus Grey pulling out of Mogie's in Lower Burrell today while I was waiting to get to a pump at the gas station across the street. I think it might have been ejmpgh? There aren't too many RL's around the area.
Ed, we'll have to get together for a beer some day when we're on the same schedule.
Pug :)
Saw a WHITE RTL w/MR/XM in the parking lot of the business across the road from my work in the Westmoreland Business Research Park in Upper Burrell this past Monday. After searching for (and finding) a ROC brochure in my glove box, I looked up and it was gone!
There really aren't too many in the area, so I looked forward to a trip I took to Camp Luz in Ohio last Saturday for my nephew's wedding, and the opportunity to spot some on the road.
I didn't see ONE Ridgeline!! AMAZING!! The round-trip was about 350 miles and I was consciously scouting for one!! I just found it kinda ironic that I'd hafta return to the local area to see a different one parked just across the road.
I traveled the PA turnpike to the OH pike, went south on I-77 past the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, OH and into farm country where my Navi couldn't identify a main road that I needed to find (Kidron Road off US30). :(
Pug
mdwalls 11-27-2006, 03:52 AM Spent the weekend in Rehoboth Beach, DE. Got a return wave from a white RL
and saw a steel blue one with a cap heading south on DE Rt 1.:)
Eaglesno1 12-05-2006, 11:24 AM Saturday, I parked at Lowes in Egg Harbor Township. When I came out there was a nice black parked next to me and I didn't have my brochures. I waited fo 10 min. but they never came out. They had to park next to me on purpose because I park way in the back of the parking lot to stay away from carts and door dings.
Spotted my RL's twin at the local spray & wash! :D
I was in a rush, on my way to work... literally did a double-take as I spotted the familiar "H" emblem in a bay, gettin' a spray-down. I had to stop for a second, anyways.
A Silver... with a "Steeler's" plate, no less! No time for introductions... just a thumbs-up was shared, a couple one-liner's, and a mutual look of amazement.
I hate it when someone "invades" my RL's bath-time, as time is money while I'm using the coin-op spray-gun, so I didn't want to waste the owner's time, either.
Anyone from the ROC?
Hope to see you again, when there's more time...
Good luck fighting the salt build-up! :p
Your ride was lookin' good!
Pug ;)
Chromehead 02-25-2007, 07:40 PM Saw three Ridgelines on my way to my office this sunday afternoon. All Near the Nitro/St. Albans Bridge in WV.
Passed a black one, white one, and silver one within 5 minutes. And I thought their were not that many RL's around these parts.
Guess you dont really look as hard until you buy one.
britimes2 05-02-2007, 02:11 PM that was one fast drive down 295 today! with another white RTL. When our ways parted, he waved to me, too! That was fun!:)
RLHopeful 05-02-2007, 04:37 PM Besides the 4 in my small neighborhood... I usually see anywhere from 0 - 4 on my ride into work... Today I saw a black RTL tooling down I66. that was me that passed you so quick I nearly sucked the paint off your truck! (late for work and all that.. :o )
Pizza Man 09-14-2007, 12:44 PM I just had my first ROC sticker sighting. Today at about 1:45 PM in the Giant Food Market parking lot in Fairless Hills, Pa. It was Steel Blue with a chrome ROC sticker. I was in and out of the store and the RL was parked the whole time, so I know you aren't aware I was there. :(
Please Identify yourself! :D
Pizza Man 12-17-2007, 11:27 AM So this morning I had a follow-up visit to an endoscope procedure, I pulled into the doctors parking area and there was a white RTL with XM and a blue RT. I know the white belongs to one of the nurses, but the blue is new to me. It had a Honda Gullwing decal where his ROC logo should have been and an aftermarket Tonneau. I hoping the driver see this post and identifies himself.
I forgot to mention my doctor's office is located in the Makefield Exectutive Quarters complex.
When you consider a parking lot that holds maybe 30 cars to see 3 RL's is very rare for me.
Lingered_I 12-19-2007, 05:21 PM Spotted a nice green or gray Ridgeline with a Leer cap driving south on I15 in Leesburg, VA, Monday around 2pm. Anyone from the ROC I wonder?
hagerswami 12-21-2007, 11:03 PM Sorry to disappoint you Bob, but I was the first one in our area to get a Ridge. I bought it in Feb. 05 sight unseen and picked it up on delivery the first week in March 05 from Antrim Honda in Greencastle, Pa. There was a terrible snow strom in late February in the Midwest which delayed the delivery by a week. I can still remember how excited I was when I picked it up (almost as bad as my first Harley in 1969). Anyway, I let my desire to get the Ridge as quickly as possible, override my practical side and I ended up paying retail for it. If I'd of waited another few months, the price dropped drastically. Still don't regret getting it when I did, because of all the folks wanting to see this truck with a trunk for the first time. I'll be waiting till after the holidays and maybe we can set up a meet together in Frederick, Martinsburg, Charles Town, Hagerstown, Winchester, etc.
Dave
Well, this is my first post.
Got together with a bunch of friends and coworkers this past Saturday night at Woodpecker's (formerly The Oaks) on Rt780 next to Penn State NK campus, for some Christmas cheer and libation.
Parked directly across from a black RL, deep in the back lot. No ROC decal on it.
"Tagged" it with a ROC card, and a blue MBRL on the driver's door near the mirror. Hope the owner stops by the ROC to share his reaction to the "stocking stuffer". :)
A buddy asked me if I was "tryin' to get my ass kicked by messin' with someone else's truck"!
Anybody here think that "tagging" another's RL would prompt such a reaction?
I just told him that "he must not understand the typical Ridgeline owner's mindset".
To this he replied, "Ridgeline owners must not be your typical, everyday truck owners".
I said, "EXACTLY!"
Pizza Man 01-15-2008, 10:46 AM Saturday, Jan. 12, I was traveling on Trenton Rd toward Woodburne Rd and tucked in behind a Steel Blue with a ROC sticker. I wasn't able to get his attention before I came to my turnoff. I think it was ROC member "mnmpa" because he lives in my area. He's somewhat inactive, though.
Could it have been another ROC'er? :)

Dave,
No disappointment. I never said that I had the first one . . . I said I had one of the first half dozen or so! ;)
I had the same itch . . . I wanted one, so I ended up getting it early and quick and paid almost full price (I got a discount on the accessories)!
BTW, I like the color! :)
I agree, we need to try to set up another meeting of the local RL's. Any suggestions on dates or places?
I don't know if yunz'll call this an "Official Sighting", or not, but...
Today, as I was watching FSN's replay of the 6/1/08 IWFL game between the Pittsburgh Passion and the New York Sharks at Couple's Stadium on Carson Street in the South Side, I spied a Silver Ridgeline with chrome side-steps and tonneau parked behind the end-zone! :)
Any women's football fans in the area that might have been taking-in the game that day?
I managed to snap a few pics off the TV with my cell, but as you can see... they didn't amount to much. :o
:D
bobtwhite 08-24-2008, 01:59 PM I just moved to Arlington, VA. I saw a ROC sticker on a silver RL today at the Mount Vernon bike trail. It had a custom fork mount bike rack in the bed and a roof rack. I think I've seen pictures of this truck on this website but can't find them again.
The wife and I biked from Roslyn to Crystal City today. It is a very scenic ride.

I don't remember. I just got a quick glance as we rode by. We were riding on the trail between 11am and 1pm and it was pretty crowded so I didn't stop to get a closer look.
