For us campers any particular site recomendations??
Rhett our Golden would have to go on a serious weight loss program to make the hotel requirement. :eek:

I think Alum is the place that is not far from Frank's place or the hotel but I'll let Frank confirm.

Alum Creek isn't far from the hotel (10-15 min) - sorry, didn't look at the "weight limit" of the dogs.

I think you're looking at around 10 hours. Not bad at all.
AND...if you are concerned about gas, may I be so bold as to suggest a tent? That's what we're doing. :)

And just an idea for anyone, Walmart has a tent in a bag type of thing which includes tent that sleeps 4, 2 sleeping bags, 2 chairs, a flashlight, and a few other things for under $100.00. If we didn't already have all of that we would have jumped on it. It looks like quite a nice set up.:D

I don't mean to sound like a smart butt...paidoffridgeline, you have a $30k truck, a $19k camper, and you're worried about maybe a couple hundred dollars worth of gas?

With that said, Like I told Ladyridge...I think I was out of line. She sent me a
private message after my post, asking if I was signed up. I'm not as of yet. I need to convince my Bride to celebrate our 28th anniversary at the ROC meet.

What size is the new Camper? I'm sure it is a beauty, but costly to tow.

for you guys in WI, it's 7.5 hours from Cols to Milwaukee. Alum creek is actually closer at 20 minutes North of downtown Cols.

dont mean to hijack but...where in Milwaukee would you guys suggest living? :p Relocating and I need to find a place very soon.

whats your price range truckeye, and what, where is the job that you're relocating to. I live on the south side of milwaukee, near lake michigan and commute to the north side of milwaukee once in a while for work and it takes me about 40 minutes if that helps. otherwise the brookfeild / waukesha / pewaukee area isn't bad if you work in milwaukee.
