I used the opptional lower panel made by Honda for the mp3 player, fused the upper and lower panel together and resurfaced, paited to match the color around the instrument cluster. The area now holds an Alpine sbs-05dc center chanel speaker consisting of 2 midranges and a center tweeter. This is essential for dialouge on movies or DTS surround concerts etc. I like listening to alot of concerts mixed in DTS since it is not just 2 channel stereo, but a left, center, right, and rear surround "for crowd noise etc." and subwoofer.

Can anyone tell me what movie I was watching????

BTW - nice work with the "fused" panels. I'm not entirely pleased with the gap between the lower part and the American International double din kit I used for my Alpine head unit. Maybe someday will want to make it look better.

Darthridge, I too love watching videos in the RL. There's nothing like 5.1 surround sound. I'm thinking of moving the Alpine centre channel up to the double DIN location and moving the F#1 Status DVI 9990 down to where the centre channel is now. It's bugging me that the centre channel is off to the right a bit and lower than the mid/tweet combo in the a-pillar. I'm not sure how it will look with the speaker in between the two decks, but should sound better.

Hoffam-Thanks...
Mugen1-Not a bad Idea, I also thought of installing the center higher up. I thought of placing the center on top which would be behind the flip screen, but thought the panel would interfer with the sound too much. I think in your situation that would be great. I was thinking of installing a 4" Diamond Audio hex and tweeter in the dash center firing into the windshield, but I decided against it.
I still may if I find the time to make my A-pillers like what mugen1 did in his and use the same 4" across the front 4" mid on the left, center and right.
I still need to find the correct color from SEM to make the A-pillers match correctly. After the family vacation I plan on making my tweeters angle to the center of the vehicle located in the door sail panels. Any suggestions???
