Looking to buy

Hi :)
New to the forum, but have reviewed discussions regarding purchase for Invoice price in the United States. I'm from London Ontario... anyone in Ontario had similar success:confused: . I'm on the edge of buying, but may hold off until late August for a 2007.

I'd be interested in the basic model, with no dealer options, and I'm wondering what the average price was here in Ontario.

Any help would be appreciated.:o

I would think twice before buying a ridgeline if you need parts for this truck you are up the river with out a paddle. My truck has been waiting for parts now for all most 6 weeks with no idea when they will arrive. I always thought Honda would stand behind their product seems thier sale are so high the only thing they are interested in doing is makeing more they would not pull this part off the line so I have to wait untill they start make parts.

Just some thing to think about

I leased with max KMs so I cant tell you the exact price - I looked for you. But the best price I got quoted was up in Orangeville. Better then Waterloo, Guelph ... You may wish to give them a call. If you want I will give you the guys name who looked after me and let him know you are going to call.

PS. I have no ties to Honda or Orangeville. Just trying to help.

But just to let you know if you can get a 06 the lease rate is 4.9% with no incentives at this time. The wholesale cost is $32208

THe 07 model is 6.9% lease rate with no incentives and the wholesale on it is $32574

I got mine from Orangeville as well, they didn't have the best price but they gave me the best deal on my trade in so it worked out.

As for waiting for parts, Ive never had a problem with any of my honda's. I haven't needed to order any parts for the ridgeline, but the accessories only took 3 days from when I ordered them.

Thanks for the replies.:)

I wouldn't mind getting the name of the dealer ship in Orangeville. I've been to the Edmunds site they talk about, but it seems to be pretty much for U.S. prices, so if our MRSP listed price is at 35,000.00 +, I figure Canadian Invoice should be about 3,000.00 below that. So I should use that as a base figure to start with. I am I out in left field here ???

I'm getting closer, should have one by the end of the month if the numbers crunch.

Thanks again

I just bought a 07 last night (joy!) from Waterloo Honda and just joined the forum this morning. Got a great deal on the truck as well as warrenty, rust proofing etc. through my brother-in-law who works with (not for) them. Its a weird relationship, kinda hard to explain but he sells dozens of vehicles a year for friends of friends etc each year. I can give you his contact info if your local dealer won't give you what you are looking for.

Good luck! I get my truck tomorrow and can't wait.

Well

Pulled the trigger today in London, Ontario. It was raining pretty hard so Motorcycling was out. Went to West Gate Honda, told the very nice Saleslady I was rainy day shopping and wanted a price on the base model, told her I was looking around. She comes back and tells me the Sales Manager would not give me a price if I was comparing prices, told me to shop around and come back to see what their price was:confused:  Told the nice lady to advise the Sales Manager that reply was the reason I would not be back.
Went over to London Honda, great sales staff, not pushy, answered all the questions, initally quoted MRSP. We haggled a bit. Finally signed up for 34,889.00 before the Gov't cut .It will be a 2007 delivered late September:p

Now I really have to check out all the posts so I can get a line on the accessories I want

Can't wait for September

Pricing I am being qouoated around $43500.00 taxes extra + $2000.00
for the Tonneau cover, I do not think this is a good price, do you think

Brian; I got mine from Civic Motors in March, It is an EX-L with Navi, towing package and rearview camera. I was in $45,000 range.

As a side bar, I found Civic Motors to be very easy to make the deal with but once I signed the deal, I had to wait 2 more weeks for the truck :( and then another month to get the rearview camera installed :( . They made no apologies or compensation.

Bubber02,

That's not a bad deal, depending where in the $45000.00 range (low or high). I went to Civic Motors, I had my 10 week old pup in the truck, I talked to a sales person, who then put me onto a business manger who took all my details, model EX-L/Nav, phone # etc and he told me he would call me back the next day with a price.

I told him it takes me about 3/4 weeks before I can sign a deal, as I have to have a meeting with the owner of the company and get his OK. That was a week and a half ago still no phone call, looks like they do not want to try and sell a Ridgeline. Civic Motors are the nearest dealer to my office and I would have liked to have purchased from them. Best price so far $43400.00 no options.
Waiting 2 weeks for the Ridgeline is a bummer, but It's OK for me as I can not take delevery untill after 9th June, I have to make the last payment on my Explorer before I can turn it in.

Looks like you added Bug Deflectors and Underseat Storage yourself.
How's your gas mileage.

Thanks Brian.
