I went to San Diego California last weekend and right when I entered my navi system froze up for the 3 days I was there, after I got out of the city it started to work just fine agian. I could see the map of the city but the system wouldn't show where I was and everything was really really slow to respond. Anyone else have this same problem?

Nsx408-Funny you should mention it. I have an aftermarket GPS (Garmin C340) and it has been acting very strange for the last couple of weeks. One minute I'm in San Diego and the next I'm in a whole different city. Kept loosing satellitle signal and the speedometer showed me going 748 & 1846 mph. Sent a message to Garmin...no response so far.

The US Military runs the GPS system. They will deliberately throw errors into the system if they think it is necessary. Weird stuff on GPS under the current Geo-political climate is little surprise. I for one can't wait until the more accurate European system is adopted as the world-wide standard.

I live in North SD, commute to Escondido M-F and my Navi has always worked with no probs. Didnt drive it last Sat or Sun but the rest of the week it was fine.
