Quicky, the Cruise control button, the one by your knee, can someone tell me if it lighted when toggled on in your vehicle? Mine doesn't, the VSA switch doesn't have the little indicator, I have the foglight switch and it has the indicator window and does light up.

Thanks!
Paul

Yes it lights up... way too bright for night driving. I keep meaning to put a piece of tape over it. Poor design.

You're supposed to cover it with your knee. I never see it while driving.

Maybe I'm not short enough...

I don't notice the green light at my knee... I am watching the road. heheh...

My '99 Accord had a burned out cruise light (same design) for 5 years. :) I expect the RL cruise light to burn out at some point as well.

I've always wondered why they even have that light and button. It does nothurtthe car at all to have it turned on all the time. Just don't understand the point.

One more button with a light makes it seem like we have one more bell and one more whistle!?!?! :D

Short answer - Ralph Nader

Back in the day (60s-70s?) there were some cruise control systems that would get a mind of their own with no way to shut them off.

Ralph started a cruisade for a master shut-off switch, and succeeded.
