Hi Just got my Ridgeline RTS on Saturday and have been playing with the radio trying to get my XM to play. NO LUCK. Radio ia 6 cd changer with XM on it.

After reading some threads, I'm starting to think that the free XM only comes with the RTL's. Am I correct?? I hope not

Also.. If I am unlucky enough to not be eligable for free 3months of XM do I also need to install a part or reciever? Or do I just need to call and have it activated??

Thanks in advance!!!

Contact your dealer Applebag....they should have activated it for you.

You need to buy an XM receiver and antenna before XM will work. The full XM radio package comes only on the RTL with sunroof and above trim packages.

Here's a link to the H&A site that should open right to the XM radio accessory.

Link to XM Radio (http://www.handa-accessories.com/ridgeline.html)

Once you have the XM radio receiver installed you can call and get the three months of free service.

Hi Applebag,
Good to see another RL owner from da'burgh in the ROC! Welcome!

Once you get yer XM together, you'll HAFTA check-out this thread:

http://www.ridgelineownersclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4259

There you'll find a way to save some bucks on a one-year subscription that might help to defray some of the costs of the equipment. It's a way to get 12months of XM service for essentially 1/2 price. ($77)

I just followed the leads of a few others in the ROC and got my subscription a coupla hours ago. (my three free months are up next week)

jbarco, are you sure about the RTS not coming XM-ready from the factory? I coulda swore I saw an RTS with an "XM bubble" on it's roof just the other day... ... I guess it was aftermarket, then?

Good luck, Applebag... heh-heh! summa yunz guys pick some pretty wild screen names! :D

RTS does come XM "Ready". No antenna or Xm brain. It is costly at around $380 plus install. Better off getting a Skifi 2 or Myfi and using it more than just your truck. One subscription, many places to use it!
