Here's the RL lineup from today's New England ROC Meet and the location shot :D
We had two more (bliss53 & friend(?) ) join us after this photo was shot for a total of ten.

All colors were represented but green (3 red, 3 silver, 2 blue, 1 white, 1 black)

Note the sign on the right hand side (total coincidence).

We had a great time meeting everyone, the weather held up, the horses were magnificent and the
free samples (of course) were refreshing :D

Great Time... Want to thank all who made it out today. You made it all worth it. Not only do we all own great trucks, but we really are a great bunch. I really enjoyed meeting everyone.

Not a bad showing with 10. I rolled in a few minutes after 10 and there were already 6 with jforget1 arriving around 9:30... As a matter of fact, jforget1 was the last to leave at around 2:45... and may I add, he was the also the only one I know who show's up at a Brewery tour with HIS OWN SUPPLY OF BEERS!!!

Jforget1 and I joined NE_Pats_Fan and his family on a tour of the brewery. Pretty cool stuff. But I could sense that each of us were anxious for the end and a chance to sample the goods. We then made our way over to see the Clydesdales. Now those are some big horses. And around 2:30, we started to call it a meet...

It sure was great meeting Oznative, who just picked up his Ridgeline LAST NIGHT!! Definately wettest paint at the meet...and JDog who only joined the ROC a couple of days ago, which may make him wettest ROC member? :p

Here's a few Pics... and ahhh Anybody remember the sound of that Nissan trucks door? hehehehe Thanks for a great time all...Look forward to doing it again... :D

I had a lot of fun yesterday getting to meet everyone. And with regards to the beers, you always have to com prepared and don't let being in the Bud parking lot limit you to Bud only, it's a free world and always have the beer of you choice. Although I did grab a 6 of Buds for a Texas Hold em tourney last night. Did not win though so maybe it was the Bud Gods pissed that I brought in the Sammys.

I brought up the idea that we should do other meets and we could do them at other breweries around New England. Thoughts on that?

Nice idea. Redhook Brewery in Portsmouth NH is great. Tours + full brewpub, indoor and outdoor seating. I'll propose some dates in the future.

brich, Thanks for a great time. It was very interesting to meet all of the people in person and put a face to their screen name. I'm a little scared to let LadyRidge know I'm online without posting any pics of the new truck. She threatened me:eek: not to show up on line without pics to post. LadyRidge if your reading this I'll post some tomorrow. Thanks to all you who offered me tips on car care and maintenance. All of the fancy add ons on forget1's truck were awesome. I finally figured out how to do the pre-sets on the radio. I swear some of this stuff you need to be a rocket scientist. The Navi worked great getting me to the meet. brich, I figured out how to set the volume on the navi. When I was driving home I set it to take me home. Just to see if it worked and to set in my home address. I was driving down rt3 vegging out when the sexy voice came on and scared the %rap out of me:eek: O! I also put a yard of bark mulch in the back. It hauled it with no problem. It was funny because the guy running the front end loader said to me (you sure you want me to dump it in there?) I said sure it's a truck aint it! My only issue was getting all of the little chips out of the trunk gasket area. Next time I'll use a tarp as suggested to me.:)

OZ, Good luck with the new ride, it was good to see one without some marks like mine. Have a few more add-ons I want to get, but I am off to a good start.

A few people asked me about my iPod interface, this is a link to an ebay sale for the same item. Hope it helps.

Again, it was cool to meet everyone and hopefully the next one is even bigger.

Had a nice time Saturday meeting everyone. My Ridge is stock so nothing too exciting other than being a Ridge. BUT, my claim to fame for the meet was that I was the only one there who had their driver seat pee'd on by a two year old that morning! While prepping the truck for the meet, my "helper", who is potty training, christened my seat. No harm done and it made for a good story.

Cheers :)

Awesome meet & greets my east coast brothers!!! Very nice photos too. It’s so great to actually put a face to all the different screen names and there is so much Ridgeline info to share with each other. Looks like everyone had a great time.:p

ROC-on!

Want an opinion from the meet, is my ride worthy of ROC of the month consideration? Don't feel comfortable nominating myself, not sure how that process works.

You see Toobuku's ride over on Ridge of the Month thread? Sportin those doors some of us were talking about on Saturday... Steep competition... I think your worthy, but you may want to wait until next month so as not to square off with fan fave Toobuku.... :D

I am heading to Cape Cod (from Maryland) in two weeks for a family vacation and am considering taking a trip out onto Sandy Neck. Never driven there before, but rode with a couple of friends 35 years ago there. He had an old Blazer and he deflated his tires. Have any N.E. Ridge owners driven there or any other off road on the Cape. Is deflating really necessary on Sandy Neck?

You might have guessed it. I used to live in New England. Hope to again when we retire.

Went to Race Point (NE of Provincetown) last summer with my previously owned RTL. Need a permit, which you can buy at the park police shack at the entry. You also need a full spare, tow rope and a flat board to sit your jack onto. It is recommended deflating tires to 15 psi, and they have air supply at the exit point. BTW, got all the way up there, but couldn't get on the beach because lack of full spare tire, tow rope, and flat board. One day pass was about 30$.

Lowrider90 is his name and here is a thread he started about his sweet truck... May lead to some info for ya!! :D

Tex's Ridge,
Thanks for the info. Hadn't considered Race Point, but we might try it. Was there a service station with air pump near by for a refill?

We blew it. The Rock'n Ribfest is this weekend at the Merrimack Brewery. They have rides and a cook off all weekend. Worth the visit. If any one is going let me know.

I think my obligation this weekend is to take my kids to Canobie Lake Park... I'll have to miss the Rib Fest... Plus, who needs all those distractions at a Ridge meet anyhow? :p

I went on Sunday to the RibFest. The lines were a mile long. The line I got into had the worst Ribs I've ever had. It's just my luck.
