I just purchased 2 sets of Beyma 6in speakers. The problem is that i can't even fit the magnet through the door....Has anyone been able to trim a little without hacking anything???if soo let me see some pics...I think i might just exchange them for something els since my truck is a lease(but i'm planning to buy).

Your only hope to avoid cutting metal is if by using a spacer your speaker is spaced out far enough that the magnet doesn't even need to go through the hole.

But I don't think that will work. You have about 1 inch max to space out with and that speaker is probably far too deep.

I'd take 'em back and get something different.

fits perfectly normal, there's about a 1/2 inch clearance from the door grill

do not use more than 1'' thick spacer, unless you go smaller on the speaker, the door grill will touch the rubber surround

Do you have any pictures of the install?
