I've PMd or emailed everyone that I'm aware of being in Utah. If you are in Utah and I haven't contacted you, please contact me so I can add you to my list. I'm also willing to send information out to anyone from other states who might be interested in coming to our meet. I'm hoping it works out for Kevin to come up from AZ. The more the merrier!

I want to get this scheduled so that we can all adjust our plans accordingly before we get too boxed in for the summer. There are ideas about this upcoming meet in the following two threads. Check them out and see what you think and vote here for your preferences.

If you have other ideas, please post and let us know what you're thinking. Even using all then options on the poll I know I didn't leave room for all the possibilities. If you have other ideas or concerns, now is the time to voice your opinions.

I made the poll multiple choice and an open poll.

I voted for both Guardsman Pass and the Alpine Loop. The pass because I've never been there, and the loop because it is right in my backyard. :)

Great idea to set up a poll!:D
You are right about using email or PMs. I am still a rookie at the message board thing and have a hard time keeping up with all of the posts. I totally missed your thread about having a mini-meet in Utah for a few weeks.
Thanks!

In order to drum up a bit more participation, I have printed a bunch of ROC flyers with the intent of tagging any Ridge I see this week. Maybe we can recruit a few more participants...

djdj, maybe we'll just have to make this a marathon meet and do both drives!

Riverfisher, your enthusiasm is delightful. I hope everyone keeps tagging and talking. I've got two owners I'm notifying that haven't registered on the ROC. Yes, sometimes I ask for their phone number in addition to giving them the ROC info. I haven't done that as often as I wish I would have.

Thanks for your votes and comments. The details of what we do are secondary in importance to simply setting a date. I hope more folks will look at their calendars and vote soon.

Sounds like fun, but I don't qualify to give any input because I can't commit to being there as our schedule is flighty and dependent on alot of variables. I'll watch for info and if it looks like it's working with our schedule, we'll come. You guys have fun regardless.

Ridge, thanks for responding even though you're not in a position to commit to coming. I hope it works out for you and Karen to dash up north to catch up with us.

I have not gotten a response from ShadowRidge or Mowabb. Neither has posted in the ROC for many weeks. Perhaps they'll see this before our meet and chime in, but I feel we can't wait around to set the date.

The rest of the people in the Wasatch Front area (those most likely to attend) with whom I have contact have voiced their opinions. I'm going to make a decision based on what's been posted and say that our meet will happen on Sat. July 29th.

I'll add a few more thoughts tomorrow when I have more energy.

All of your emails and posts have been factored in and helped move this idea along. :D
