: Union Pay!!!!
Long Gone 04-21-2005, 11:47 AM Can we make all the members of the ROC union because I spend more time on this site than I do my job and If I get fired, I'll have to collect union benefits. Geez Louise! I'm addicited to my 'Line AND my new Ridgeline buddies!!!
ridgeman 04-21-2005, 12:18 PM It's sad - I check this site it seems like every 5-10 minutes to see what's new and to see what everyone is saying AND I DON'T EVEN HAVE MY TRUCK YET! AND, when there are no new posts, I feel cheated. Come on you guys, keep the pics, advice, screams coming. I'm still trying to make the jump - I'm just too cheap to pay MSRP.
I did check on a lease in the Denver area:
Green RTL $31,500 (nothing on it)
Money factor: 3.05 - 36 months - MSRP Residual, $19,800 (62%), monthly lease payment, $468.
OR
48 months, money factor 2.9, MSRP Residual 52% $16,500 or so, monthly lease payment, $440.
Is this good. I do have a business, so can write the truck off that way. Let me know what you guys think.
Long Gone 04-21-2005, 12:26 PM Do we members who you see on here all the time have to S P E L L it out for you? Go buy it. Find the best deal you can and just buy. I am also writing mine off on the business but I would have bought it anyway and paid sticker. The ride is indescribable, the look, as you know is like eye candy, the over-all satisfaction I get having it in my drive-way is uncomparable to anything I have ever known in a vehicle. OK!! Now, does that tell you anything???? You are the Ridgeman for pete sake. Go get a Ridgeline. ( and send pictures ) :D ;) :p
Lovingly...LadyRidge :)
Dnucci 04-21-2005, 12:37 PM ridgeman,
Take the leap head first. I look at things in terms of value and not absolute dollars. I have a vehicle that provides:
a very comfortable ride
all the gadgets I need, as well as some that are just fun to have
reasonable mileage
seating for my entire family
looks good enough to take to formal functions (when not dirty)
a pick-up bed for hauling cargo
and a bigger trunk than any other vehicle.
My value meter was pegged!!!!!
Plus the fact that I still smile each and every time I see it in the driveway!
shovelhd 04-21-2005, 12:50 PM I also write off part of my Ridgeline as part of my business. I chose to purchase rather than lease because of the typically high resale value that Honda products command. Why let the lessor benefit from this?

I'll send you a self addressed stamped envelope. Just put a few hundred dollars in union dues and I'll send you a card.
Long Gone 04-21-2005, 01:01 PM Yeah!! Great!! Keep checking your mail box there buddy!!!!
( big time sarcasm here...do you here it ) ;)

Yes, but how do you really feel about the Ridgeline? :D Yeah, I know, I too have found inner peace in 4,500 pounds of steel and plastic, and to think all those years I wasted going to church. I was just biding my time, waiting for Honda engineers to deliver heaven on Earth. I'm always just a little sad when I can't think of a place to go and the RL just stays in the garage sulking, looking at me with those big head lights.
Long Gone 04-22-2005, 07:40 AM I know the feeling. Maybe we should start a "I miss my Ridgeline while I'm sleeping" club or even a Ridgeline Annonymous Club!
hagerswami 04-23-2005, 12:40 AM I check the site every other day, except weekends when I check every day. The only thing is, it's now 2:38 am and I'm still up writing on this site. My wife will kill me later today if I even hint that I'm tired.....sigh, I gotta cut this out. :( :) :D Oh yeah, night all!
frbear 04-23-2005, 06:56 AM That's right! :) I should be sleeping in since it's a Saturday instead of catching up on all the posts (since I didn't log-on yesterday) that I've missed. BTW, it's snowing in Michigan right now. :(

Back up and "at em". Now 9:58am and coffee sure tastes good. Yikes, SNOW! I am so ready for Spring to stay sprung. :)
BamaRidge 04-23-2005, 11:00 AM I've been off the site for about 12 days. We just got back last week from a ten day cruise to the Southern Caribbean. My relaxed no stress mode lasted exactly one hour after I returned to work.

The only union I'm a member of these days is the one attached to my kids.
And of course the union I have created with all of you!! :p
I was in the FireFighters Union but not any longer. Too old to donn the gear and sing to myself hoping I don't run out of air. ( for those of you who know firefighters, you'll understand that statement. ) ;)
