Okay i just got a ridgeline last week, i mounted my sirius in the flip down cubby hole under the cd player. however the kickin little tweets in the fron really pick up static crackle. no prob ive got an external fm mod/relay to boost the signal, Ive just got to hook the fm mod cable to the ridgeline antena system somewhere. so does anyone know where the antena runs to, or do i have to pull the cd player to tap on at the back of the unit?
Thanks
Brad

The RL uses an antenna connector unique to Honda. It is not the usual Motorola coaxial connector. It plugs directly into the back of the headunit. I think the antenna is in the rear of the vehicle and the wire runs from the rear to the front on the passenger side of the vehicle. I expect you will need some kind of adapter to use a wired FM modulator. And yes - you will need to pull the dash and headunit to reach it - but it isn't hard to do. Search ROC for words like "dash removal" and you should find specific help.

Just pull the Radio. You will need two antenna Honda Adapters to convert to Honda proprietary antenna system to Motorola type antenna and back again....
Crutchfield sells them.....you will need 2 units to convert the antenna.
Hope this helps....
